Can't find information about Greek trains on rail planner app

Hello, I am trying to do a trip starting fron Athens crossing some countries to Poland.But it is being difficult to me to find trains information in Greece in the rail planner app.Even if I know there are trains available, how can I know if they are included in the Interrail pass?For example i want to do, Athens-Kalambaka. I know there is a connection but don't know if it is included in the pass. Because the connection has a change to a bus in middle of the way. So that bus will be included?

Hi everyone!In your experience, are Nighjets on time? I have to book a train to get back to my city after doing Amsterdam-Zurich on the NJ, and I’m wondering how much spare time I have to consider ;-)Thanks!

düsseldorf - paris; global pass; ein-ausreise schon verbraucht; 49€ ticket

Wer hat Erfahrung ?mein global pass gilt ja im Ausland (ein- und ausreise sind wie gesagt schon verbraucht ) Das wäre also ab Belgien  oder könnte ich ab Aachen fahren ? Das liegt ja haarscharf an der Grenze .ich freue mich sehr auf einen tippdanke im voraus und grüße herzlich Martin das 49 € Ticket habe ich

Sleeper train Budapest to Krakow getting e ticket

I tried to book the sleeper train on Polrail from Budapest to Krakow but they are only giving me a mail or pick up in Poland option for the tickets.  I cannot do either.  I am looking to book a ticket in 2.5 weeks.  I am looking to book one double couchette and one triple for myself and my kids. I tried trainline and that didnt offer me the option of plugging in my Eurail pass for priceresuction; I tried OBB and that didn’t offer me the option of booking a couchette; and I tried MAV and that too didn’t offer me the option of booking a couchette.  HELP!

train ticket from Vienna to Munich

Hello, I would like to book a train ticket from Vienna to Munich on August 14, 2024 at 7 o'clock.I can't find a ticket for a direct train on this date.In addition, I am interested in a travel ticket from Munich to Zurich on August 15, 2024Is there a discount card that could be relevant for me? Finding night trains

Hello, I have some troubles finding easily night trains with Rail Planner app. When I check for only night trains it doesn’t show the ones that exist. From exemple you have one from Hamburg to Copenhagen.Is there a quick way around it? I want to explore my possibilities not knowing where my next stop is.Thanks a lot!Augustin

Reserve cycle spaces in England and Scotland

Hi ! I’m planning a trip from France to Scotland with my bike. On the routes Dover-London and Edinburgh-Inverness, no seat reservations are required but i need to book one space for my bike. Is it possible to reserve a cycle space without reserving a seat? How? Thanks for your help.

Hello community,I am travelling with my family (wife and two kids aged 11 and 8) to London in September. We are also planning a trip to Paris and Interlaken (Switzerland). The likely itinerary will be:Day 1: Leave from London to Paris; Spend the day/night in ParisDay 2: Spend the day in Paris and in late night leave for InterlakenDay 3: Arrive in Lausanne or Interlaken;Day 3-5: Go around places like Lausanne, Interlaken, Montreux, Zweisimmen, JungfrauDay 6: Leave from Switzerland to London. Can you please help with figuring out whether it will be better (and cheaper) for us to hire a car or take trains?Which train was would be ideal for this journey (including Eurostar from london)? A 4 or 7 day Eurail or a combination of 4 days Eurail Global pass and a swiss travel pass? And what should be the ideal combination?

Trains in Bavaria affected by flooding

Hi, I’m completely new to travelling via rail in Europe and have a query that I am hoping somebody might be able to answer.  I am still trying to get my head around how the rail service in Germany fits together.I know there has been severe flooding in Bavaria and many services are affected. Munich - Nuremberg - Erfurt - BerlinKarlsruhe - Stuttgart - Ulm - Augsburg - MunichStuttgart - Mannheim - Frankfurt(M)Munich - Lindau - Bregenz - ZurichKarlsruhe - Stuttgart - Crailsheim - NurembergAugsburg - Kempten(Allgäu) - OberstdorfI’m struggling to figure out if a couple of trips I have booked will be affected by this though.e.g. I am travelling from Cologne to Munich on 16th June, then Munich to Paris on 19th June; if I search for a trains on either of these journeys on those dates, they are all there, you can still book seats - seems to be no mention of any being cancelled or changes made to them.   I am reading that correctly?

Spiez to Milan direct train cannot be found

Hi I have been looking for the direct train from Spiez to Milan for late July date. Was looking at train availability for a few weeks and noticed direct trains (2h38min) are only available up to Jun 8 and it seems that no direct trains are added after that date despite daily checking. Any change such that there’s no more direct trains ?

Nightjet to Venice tomorrow

Not strictly an Interrail question, but since the DB community does not exist anymore, I’ll try it here. Some time ago, I booked the following connection for tomorrow evening (June 4th) on international-bahn.de:Frankfurt Hbf 19:49 (ICE 693)Augsburg Hbf 22:40Augsburg Hbf 23:02 (NJ 237)Venezia Santa Lucia  08:34Now it turns out that ICE 693 from Frankfurt to Augsburg is canceled already. I could probably take a different train to Stuttgart instead and board the Nightjet there. However, for today (June 3rd), it is indicated that the Nightjet will only start in Salzburg. For tomorrow, there is no information yet, but of course, I wonder if it could still be the case then.So I have 2 questions:- Is there any reliable information on the status of NJ 237 tomorrow?- If it turns out that the NJ is canceled (at least in Germany - I probably can't get to Salzburg), do I have the right to take another connection to Venice with my ticket the following day (June 5th)? For instance, the following one

I have my first travel day tomorrow  .. June 2 ... with two Journeys, pass activated and ticket visable. Do I have to do anything at the start of the day or between trains or does the ticket/screen remain unchanged during the journeys?

18 days Global vs separate bookings 6 or 7 stops Spain France & Portugal

We are two seniors and are flying from Malaga to Barcelona to begin our train travel to Narbonne, France, Toulouse, Donostia San Sebastian, Spain, Bilbao, Gijon, and ending in Porto, Portugal.Does it make sense to purchase a Global Pass vs separate bookings? Do I also need to make reservations for all of these?

Nightjet München to La spezia

Hi,I’m booking a trip to Cinque Terre for the 18th of June, and i know there are some nightjet connections from Germany to Italy are under construction from June until september, but when looking at nightjet tickets for NJ 40295 Munchen to La Spezia it says i can book it but the website also says “please note that travel times can still change”.Does anyone have an accurate source as to wether or not that specific line is also closed for the summer? Or what would happen if i book and it turns out that it won’t be going, will I be eligible for a refund?Thanks in advance!

Disruptions on the Vienna to Venice Railjet 131 route, advice on how it would appear?

Hi all, I am considering taking the early 6AM train from Vienna to Venice on 20 July 2024 (as a consequence of the Nightjet being cancelled); however, it also seems that RJ 131 is experiencing disruptions.  I would like to ask whether anybody has insight into what such a route would look like and how long it would take?I am happy to take a bus (seeing as the Villach to Carnia bus is 1hrs only on Google maps) but my main concern is scenery (scenic trains in Australia are much more expensive than Europe!!) and whether the train will get to Venice around 2, otherwise I’d rather take a plane for time saving considerations.Thank you very much in advance for your assistance.

lake bohinj to lake garda

Hello! I’m trying to plan the final part of my trip this summer. I will be in Bohinj, Slovenia and must get to lake Garda, Italy. I’m going on Saturday July 6th. I have looked on multiple routes, all of which include at least 3-4 stops over 8-9 hours. I’m flexible with train/bus. Travelling day or night. I would like to avoid going back to Ljubljana but if that is the simplest way I’m open! So looking for shortest travelling route with as few stops as possible.  thank you!

Train strike Italy 19/05/2024

Hi there,we want(ed) to go from Brennero to Roma on Sunday, 19/05/2024. Now Trenitalia will go in strike that day. We have a One-Country-Pass, but many trains are not included in this pass.Will it be possible to take these not included trains, if the included trains won’t run? And what about our (really expensive) seat reservatoins? We are travelling with a child. Unfortunately, it would be rather difficult to postpone the trip.Thanks for your help and have a nice eveningAnja

Unable to Book reservation for Chur to Tirano Bernina Express Panaromic Express Error Msg

Dear All. *Urgent*I am trying to book Zurich to Chur and Chur to Tirano on June 5. I have the Eurail global pass. However, when i am ready and willing to pay for the seat reservation, I cant book it online as a error message says part of the journey could not be booked. My plan is to enjoy the scenic route down to Italy Tirano and then travel to Milan from Tirano. I dont know why i could see St Moritz inside my trip which i booked to take the 1.34pm train at Chur to Tirano. Is there a alternate way or website to book this seat? Pls help to reply to my query as I am comfortable with a printed ticket and i am leaving my home in 2 hours. Worse case I have to pay for reservation and travel in the seat reservation Zurich to Milan trip which is not scenic. Im arranging a day hotel stay in Zurich just to travel on the scenic Bernina Express. Else i would have gone straight to Milan from Munich and travel elsewhere. :( Any form of guidance is appreciated.Thanks

Train travel planning and cities to visit in Italy and Austria.

Dear all, Im looking for suggestions on my family of 3 adults, train route from Zurich to Italy. We have planned to travel the scenic train from Luzern to Interlake separately on another day.We intend to travel down via the Bernina Express to Tirano. 1) Do we have to travel to Chur from Zurich to board the Bernina Express ? Is there any other better station besides Chur which saves time and distance from Zurich ? 2)  From Tirano, Can we visit Lake como? Which train should we take? 3) For Travelling Italy via train, Could you suggest possible places to visit. We can have about 8-10 days for Italy and 2-4 days for Austria from 1st June. Our Flight back is from Rome (FCO) on 13th June.4) For Italy, Could we plan a city to have as our base to visit the rest of the places like Venice, Rome, Florence etc. Or we can also stay for 3 days in each of the main cities. We have a daily Eurail global pass valid till 13th June. If there isnt any nice places, we can also go shopping or unique factory
