Eurail & Interrail Passes

Hi im looking to travel from Paris to San Sebastian - i cant find a route...can anyone help 

G'Day !     Just ordered a paper pass.  I note that delivery is estimated at 2 weeks.  Is there any way to generate a pass cover number for a paper pass?  I'd like to make reservations as soon as possible, because the route is popular (Brussels-London via Eurostar).I'm asking because 2 years ago I had a pass, and got the following error when trying to purchase reservations on this route:  Eurail B.V. is not listed on the Issuer drop down list. I selected DISCOVEREU TRAVEL PASS (CIV 9901)  Pass Cover Number returns an error. PASS COVER NUMBER DOESN’T LOOK RIGHTBut I don't remember the solution, as this was about 2 years ago.  Someone told me to use a different number and ignore the cover number on the jacket  I apologise for my confusion.Thank you kindly !

I’ve been trying to book something in France for the better part of a week and I keep getting the notification on the top of the page that it’s not working. What's an alternative way to make French train reservations with a US credit card? It says 'Prices temporarily unavailable. Check back in a few hours to see prices and book this seat reservation.' And it has for a while now. I will be going to Switzerland in the summer (might re-visit for winter again), hence for this trip, I am really interested in the Brienz Rothorn Bahn as I think going on winter won’t have the same scenery.  But it’s pretty pricey (return trip is 96 CHF, is it not covered by interrail, not even a discount?), is it really worth it? The cable car to the top of Zermatt is almost similar price even. Any suggestion or maybe there are other more affordable steam trains for interrail holders? Addition: is it possible to get one way up, then hike down? or would that be too much of a hike Thank you!

Hi, I will be travelling between my country of residence (UK) and the EU 3 times during 1.5 months and wondering if there is some option that allows multiple entry-exits from one’s country of residence? I had considered getting a Eurail pass, but don’t think I’ll be allowed to long-term.  Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hello everyone, I am travelling to the UK for the first time and also making use of the eurail global mobile pass for the first time and would like to know how to add the exact train that I have booked seat reservation on, to my trips in my mobile pass. From what I can see, the mobile pass only shows you timings of the trains between two places and there is no information such as train number etc. written anywhere on the railplanner app. I have booked my seat reservation from Edinburgh to London on LNER website by matching the timetable on the rail planner app to that of the LNER website. How do I ensure that my seat reservations are on the exact train that I have added to my pass?

Hello everyone, I am receiving a warning that I need to add some locations manually in the Rail Planner application for the mobile pass. Not being able to see the train services in the application worries me. Could you please share your experiences with me about this issue and traveling to the Baltic countries. I have already purchased my EU rail pass and also reserved seats for the routes I will be travelling on through the EU rail website. I have downloaded the Rail planner app and added my travel pass on that. Is there a way I can link my e-tickets for the seat reservations with my pass? If not, what is the use of the app if I have to download and print out e-tickets to show to the ticket inspector?

I'm going to the EURO’s next summer. I travel from Brussels to German host cities. These are my travel movements: Brussels - Hamburg, Hamburg - Brussels, Brussels - Leipzig, Leipzig - Brussels, Brussels - Munich, Munich - Brussels. Can I use the German Rail Pass with these travel movements? Or do I need another Pass?

I am trying to figure out the meaning of the notes in Rail Plan.When I try to search a trip from Antwerp (in Belgium) to Breda (in The Netherlands). It showed the note ‘Supplement included for international travel...’. When I clicked on ‘Read more’, it showed ‘Special Conditions ...’ as on the screen shots below.Does anyone knows what are those notes mean? Is the trip considered as ‘international travel’(from Belgium to Netherlands)? If I take the trip, do I have to pay for the supplement? Any help will be much appreciated!Thank you very much in advance!By the way, I will be using Eurail Globe Pass when I travel there.

Hi,I wonder if anyone knows if it is crucial or probably ok not to list the *exact* right S-Bahn train in Germany for local travel? I will spend the weekend in a city where the S-Bahn is convenient to get to our hotel so will use my pass for that. However there are loads of different S-Bahns going from the Hauptbahnhof every 2-3 minutes, so I’m just wondering how crucial it is that I manage to see if it’s S1 or S2 or S3 or whatever, then log that on my pass and activate it before I enter the train..? Or would any S-Bahn train listed be ok to activate even if I happen to go the two stops on another one..?Thanks for any advice!

Im non European but my kids are European age 4-11 . they also have non -european passports. We all live out of Europea. How can I buy passes for us? interails or eurails? Can I just buy eurail for all of us? Thanks so much for your help!

Hi, I'm in my second day of a 7-day travel pass. The Rail Planner App is not working, the issue is the same that happend to Tarek here https://community.eurail.com/eurail-interrail-passes-41/mobile-pass-disappeared-completely-771 but his solution it's not working for me. I've sent emails to support but anyone is answering. The mobile pass doesn't shows in the app section and that section requests me to add a pass. When I do the proper steps, the app says me that the mobile pass has been added in this phone and I can check it in the app section. It's a loop: when I go back, the pass stills missing. Any idea? 

I'm currently travelling in Slovakia my Interrail pass has suddenly disappeared off app with 3 days travel left , help needed urgently , how do I contact Interrail urgently to get it back on , I've sent a request but it'll take days for a reply , this is ridiculous. Hello All,  I have purchased an interrail global pass to travel from France to Switzerland. with 4 days of travelMy country of residence is France. Please let me know if the following route will be ok for my inbound and outbound limits?Day 1: Paris (France) to Geneva (Swiss)    (outbound)Day 4: Basel (Swiss) to Strasbourg (France) and then Strasbourg (France) to Paris (France)  (inbound) Since I want to go to a specific Train station at Paris which has no direct train from Swiss...I have to First go to Strasbourg (in France) and then take another train from here to Paris.Will these be counted as one inbound journey or two? In other words, will my journey from Strasbourg to Paris be included in the pass? Thank you in advance for the answer!

Hi. Although I've seen a number of questions and answers about this promotion I want some help in clarifying the earliest and latest dates I can use for a Rail journey. My pass needs to be activated by 01 June. The pass is for 10 days in 2 months. I want to make my first rail journey on 09 June and the rest of the journeys between 25 June and 08 July. Is my first journey on 09 June acceptable for this pass.Appreciate any help the community can offer.

Hello! Any advice for someone who's trying to get from Split to Florence to Athens? Is there a need for reservations? What is the best plan for this trip?Do i need to buy any other ticket other than the Interrail Pass?

I want to take an RJ train from Trento at 9:59 to Munich. On the German Rail Pass brochure it's written that from Italy to Germany it covers only EC trains. But the RJ and the EC have the same stops and take the same time, the only difference is that the first EC is at 13:59, which is too late for me. Can I use the German Rail Pass for the RJ as well?

Wir wollen von Österreich nach Polen mit dem Zug und das Fahrrad mitnehmen. Wir können aber weder auf der ÖBB noch auf der Polnischen Seite ein Ticket mit Fahrradmitnahme buchen. Hat hier wer Erfahrungen wie wir das buchen können. Hätten  auch vor uns ein Global Ticket zu kaufen. Danke
