On the "frequent questions" it says you can't add or remove a trip after activating your pass, but can you add journeys?If its not possible, missing a train would mean you're stuck in that city, so I guess you can add journeys on the go but I just wanna make sure

I want to visit the following places (though I'm planning on taking it day by day, so might skip a few):Utrecht (Netherlands) >Milan >Cinque Terre >Florence (via Pisa) >Rome >Naples (with day trips to Sorrento/Pompeii/Amalfi coast) >Sicily >Back to Utrecht via Siena/Bologna I have a few questions about this:Is the trip to Sicily (train + ferry) covered by the Interrail Pass? And do I book this through Trenitalia? Can I take the ferry to Sicily from Naples? And what city in Sicily is best to ferry to? I think I'd want to buy some seperate tickets on regional trains to save travel days. Do I book this through Trenitalia?
Hello all, I am looking to purchase an eurail pass for my trip in December, however when I am trying to create the journey so I can connect it once I’ve bought the pass, it keeps coming up saying Not In Pass Network. Does this mean I can’t use the pass for this journey? The journey is Zurich Airport to Wengen.

hi, i am travelling in a group of 4, consisting of 2 adults and 2 kids (6 and 12), and am thinking of booking the sleeper cabin with 3 beds. How do we make sure we can have the whole compartment to ourselves? or they will allocate 1 adult to another compartment? why am i unable to book after 9th Dec from Venice to Munich? Do i have to wait for a new timetable? are the sleeper cabins safe and clean for a family with kids, with locks from inside all working? Recent reviews on TripAdvisor makes us worriedthank you in advance!Jan
Hi all,Recently purchased the Eurail Pass and can’t wait to visit Europe at the end of this month. I have added the mobile pass to m phone and got the trip set up, the QR codes even shows up already and all the travel day has been used. However, I have few confusions:There are few trips that requires seat reservation, one of them is for the trip from Switzerland to Milan using EuroCity train. Went through the OBB ticket site, the trip seems to exist but it said that the ticket is unavailable, what does this mean exactly? No more seat left? Or it’s just that it’s not available online? Do I have to book directly at the station? What happens if till the end I didn’t manage to book a reservation? Will I still be able to hop on the train and just sit randomly or will I not be allowed to board at all.Thanks and hopefully this is not a duplicated question.
I’m looking for trains Paris Lyon - Milano Porta Garibaldi and Paris Gare du Nord - Brussels Midi. Price of ticket for first route in august is 29€ on SNCF page, while seat reservation for my interrail pass costs 31€. Same situation for second route. On Thalys page ticket for this train costs 29€, while seat reservation in app costs 25€. Is there any way to bypass such big fees?
My wife and I have Interrail Global Passes and we’re trying to book a trip from Brussels to Cologne on the 17th September. On the Intercity trains (ICE) it gives us this message:“Not available for some travellersSome of your travellers' Passes are not valid on this train. Change your selected travellers to book this seat reservation.” We can book seats on the Thalys trains (THA) but that will cost 54 Euro as opposed to 16 Euro on the Intercity. We were under the impression that our passes would be valid on all intercity trains. Are we wrong?!
Hi! My name is Sedef, and I am from North Macedonia. This summer I want to travel the EU through interrail and have wonderful adventures. I saw that Interrail is doing a 50% off discount for the passes and I wanted to ask if can non-European citizens benefit from the discount. I also checked the Eurail website for the discount but there is nothing stated about it. Can a buy a pass from Interrail’s website as a non-European citizen instead of Eurail’s website? If you can help me I will be so glad!I look forward to hearing from you!
I am new and still confused what exactly “activating” my pass means. I understand that I have to fill in some more information and that I will be able to change my starting date before said that.But can I also deactivate the pass again and get the 85% refund if I decide to return it before my starting date?
Hallo ZusammenEine Freundin und ich werden ab Samstag 10 Tage mit Interrail durch Italien reisen. Wir haben ein 2. Klasse E-Ticket. Nun habe ich über das Interrail-Portal die Sitzplätze reserviert. Auf den Bestätigungen steht jedoch bei beiden ein 1. Klasse Sitzplatz. Wisst ihr, wie das sein kann? Ich konnte bei der Reservation nur die 2. Klasse anwählen. Bekommen wir da nun Probleme, wenn wir trotzdem reisen?Achja und wir starten aus der Schweiz.Liebe Grüsse Jennifer
Hi everyone, I have an Interrail Global Pass and a BahnCard 100 in Germany which allows me to use any (highspeed-)train in Germany. As you all know, I have only 1 Outbound/Inbound journey. My understanding is that until any border, i.e. France, my BahnCard 100 covers the journey. From this border in the other country the Interrail Pass covers my journey. Does anyone know if I’m correct? How can I manage this with my mobile pass to avoid having an inbound/outbound journey? As soon as I capture a German train station, 1 outbound journey is being used. Looking forward to receive some support on that :)
Hi! I want to travel to Barcelona from the Netherlands in a few weeks, and for the last train I need a paper ticket. I can buy it through the interrail website, but I wonder how much time it will take to arrive? Does anyone have experience with ordering paper tickets through interrail?

Il se peut que les places destinées aux détenteurs du Pass soient épuisées. Recherchez une autre liaison ou consultez « Plus d'informations » afin de découvrir les autres options de réservation. Si les places destinées aux détenteurs du Pass sont épuisées, vous devrez acheter un billet plein tarif pour effectuer ce trajet.”Les pays concernés sont Croatie, Pologne, Prague, Hongrie, Autriche Que dois-je faire dans cette situation. N’ayant pas énormément de temps pour à la gare sur place y a t il une autre alternative pour pouvoir réserver mes sièges ? et je ne souhaite pas choisir d’autres créneaux où les sièges est inclus car cela ne me convient pas. I’d like to book a reservation from Brussels to Amsterdam but I can’t get an option to buy a ticket for the time I’d like to go. I’d like to take the 9:52 from Brussels MIDI to Amsterdam centraal At 11:44 but as you can see I can’t buy a ticket I will attach photos to explain further. For the options I can buy reservations for; I can’t find those times on the Interrail app to add them to it anyone know something that could help?

For some routes, an additional seat reservation is required. Seat reservations are not included in your Eurail or Interrail Pass, but for a fee they guarantee you a comfy seat on busy routes across Europe. im catching a tgv from paris to geneva 29th June. it says booking is required. i tried to book but it seems to be fully booked.It says "Prices unavailable. No price results were found for this connection. It is possible that all pass holder seats are sold out. Please try searching for another connection or check 'More information' and try other ways to book this seat reservation. If no pass holder seats are available anymore you need to buy a separate full fare ticket to board." Am i allowed to stand or sit on the train floor without a seat reservation. All the trains for the day say the same thing. I tried booking on other train sites and all say fully booked or don't give option. If I have an eu rail pass can I use that amd just stand on the tgv train, or is a seat reservation essential?
How long does it take for Eurail Customer service to provide Pass Cover Number for mobile pass?First time novice holidaying in France. Bought 2 Eurail Mobile Pass hoping to use for the Paris - Avignon trip planned in late May. I’m having problem reserving seats using the Eurail App or the Interrail.eu web site, or the RailEurope web site.There is just no price listed to proceed with the seat reservation. See screen shot below from Eurail. In reading various posts in the forum, it appears having a Pass Cover Number may help to allow to reserve seats. I emailed Eurail Customer Service some 2.5 days ago, also sent a request through this forum, for 2x PassCoverNumber for our 2x Mobile Pass, but so far, haven’t received any info from Eurail, apart from the (not helpful) generic acknowledgement email that “we’ve got your email”…If there is Eurail customer service rep on this forum who could provide me Pass Cover Number, that’d be good. thanks. Reserving sleeper cars: Is there anyway to ensure that we are booked in a sleeper car on these overnight trains, and not just in regular seats?
I have purchased global rail passes for myself and my family for a Europe trip In July/august. I have run into a question about reservations. There are several nights that we would like to use the sleeper trains. I can see that we can reserve these through yours website service. I also know from making my other reservation that seats will be selected for me, but Is there anyway to ensure that we are booked in a sleeper car on these overnight trains, and not just in regular seats. It appears that both seating types are available on this train.
