Hello, so I am trying to book a reservation from Nice to Paris on November 6. The eurail booking website doesn’t have any and when I go to the station, they said that they only have 1st class available for reservations, no second class. But when i check the SNCF booking website, the train is not sold out, there are still tickets there for sale. Does this just mean that the Eurail seats are sold out, like is there a maximum number of seats Eurail can reserve?
I just added my pass and my wife’s pass into the app. We will be taking exactly the same trips/journeys together yet I had to create two trips (one for each pass). We won’t be travelling until May of 2022 so journeys are not available in the timetable until October for 2022. Is there any way to avoid creating duplicate journeys and just associate a single trip with journeys to both passes?
We arrived in Europe today. Our first trip is supposed to be tomorrow, august 29. The mobile app will NOT let us get a ticket by adding a journey! We add the journey but the app will NOT let us get the ticket with the QR code. We spent 45 minutes at SBB help desk in Zurich train station and the guy could not figure it out either. Ther is no phone number to call Eurail. What do we do??? Eurail email says they won’t respond for 7 days.
Hi all,We would like to use your help. In three weeks we will go to Spain and Portugal by Interrail. Now I read that the reservations cannot be made online or via the reservation system. If this is correct, there are a number of options left. One of these is reserving tickets at the train stations. Now I have a few questions about that:1. When we arrive in Madrid, can I immediately book the tickets there for our train journeys to Malaga and Seville?2. When we arrive in Faro, can I immediately book the tickets there for our train journeys to Lisbon and Porto?3. What are the costs for these reservations? Is this extra compared to the Interrail pass? If so, how much?We would be very helpful if you could help us with these questions. We are very curious so would like to hear from you!
Hello,I recently bought my 2nd class Eurail pass and am planning a trip to Edinburgh from Cologne on the 18th of April. I have a few connections and my train from Bruxelles Midi to London St Pancras requires a seat reservation, as well as my train from London St Pancras to Edinburgh. However, I have been unable to make a reservation for either. For London to Edinburgh, it tells me that I must book at a major train station. So does this mean I need no reservation ahead of time, and can make it in the station before I board my train? For Bruxelles to London, it says I can book at the station or through Deutsche Bahn or CD. I have tried both websites and Deutsche Bahn says it is impossible to make a reservation, and CD won’t allow me either. I even tried the Thalys website, and the train I would be taking was not present on their website. I also tried on OBB and it said “a technical error occurred” in the space where it would show the fare. I couldn’t even do it on the Eurail websi
Hello. A few weeks ago I made a request for issuing a complimentary pass for a caregiver of a disabled traveller. I still didn’t receive any answer and I am getting quite stressed as we are travelling on wednesday. Does anyone know how/if it’s possible to reach interrail support for urgent issues?
Can't choose between sleeping compartment and seat reservation on night trains in Norway (Trondheim - Bodoe)
Hi!I’m trying to book sleeping compartments for my friends and I on the night train from Trondheim to Bodoe in Norway. But when I try to book the ticket, I can’t chose between the simple seats and the sleeping compartments. Hello!I need a reservation for agroup of 5 people for the 9th July from Brussels Midi to Paris North. Seats are not available on the interrail website, I have to book via b-europe. There are the Pass Cover Numbers required but we have got mobile passes.Need urgent help, because there are not many seats left.
Hi, we want to take the night train from Helsinki to Rovaniemi for which a reservation is required. When I choose the connection on interrail.eu there’s only one possibility (“IRT 2 class” for 24€). I suppose that this is the price for a normal seat. However we prefer to have our own compartment. I had a look at the VR website. There you can choose such a cabin for 179€. Unfortunately we haven’t found a way that “interrail” is taken into account. That’s why I have these questions:Is there a way to book a reservation for a cabin on interrail.eu? Is there a way to get the cabin cheaper with the “interrail-code” on the VR website? Or do we have to pay the full price without using our Interrail Pass? Greetings from GermanyHagen & Nadine
Hi! I bought a second class pass for 4 days. Travelling from Copenhagen to Stockholm is one of my journeys. This journey, however, requires a reservation. I tried doing this via SJ‘s website and it actually works. The thing is that the 2nd class reservation costs 69kr but right next to it there’s the option to choose first class for 140kr which sounds really tempting. Since I had to provide my Interrail pass number in the process I’m wondering if I can make the 1st class reservation and take that train (with my 2nd class pass)? Do you think that’s possible or shouldn’t I even had the option to choose a first class reservation?Thanks!Cheers,Andrej
Hi everyone, I have an Interrail Global Pass and a BahnCard 100 in Germany which allows me to use any (highspeed-)train in Germany. As you all know, I have only 1 Outbound/Inbound journey. My understanding is that until any border, i.e. France, my BahnCard 100 covers the journey. From this border in the other country the Interrail Pass covers my journey. Does anyone know if I’m correct? How can I manage this with my mobile pass to avoid having an inbound/outbound journey? As soon as I capture a German train station, 1 outbound journey is being used. Looking forward to receive some support on that :)

I booked Amsterdam - Zurich on Interrail and created a QR code for it as seen below. I have 3 questions:To make the seat reservation on OBB website, should I click on '’Ticket Already Exists'’ or '’Standard-Ticket'’? Either way, the seat reservation will be 3 eur. Which one of the 2 options will let me cancel or change the time alors with the reservation for free? '’Standard-Ticket'’ says it will let me cancel and modify the time but what about the 3 eur reservation? What do I show to the controllers? The Interrail QR Code or the one generated by OBB once I buy the 3 eur reservation?
Hello, If I activate my 2-month pass now and select the first day of travel (July 3rd), will it be active now for 2 months or on July 3rd for two months? I want to activate it now to reserve seats for some trains, but I’m afraid the pass would then start right now, and not on the 3rd which is the day I want to start my trip.thank you very much!
I bought online eurail pass boucher for 5 days yesrterday. Now I’m trying to book a train ticket from ‘Innsbruck Hbf’ to ‘Venezia Mestre’ on 23 Jun 2022(departure time 13:24). Hey guysI have some problems booking a seat reservation on the TGV:From Nice to St Raphael (April/19th) From Nimes to Barcelona (April/22nd)I do have an Interrail Online Pass (5 days per month). The Interrail app says “book at major train stations”. Is there no opportunity to book a TGV seat reservation in advance?Thank you so much!
Hello Eurail Communityi was trying to plan a trip from Frankfurt to Wiesbaden and the planner says I have to take a train called SBA35930. What is this train SBA ? Is it a partner company of Eurail and is it a participating member of Eurail? Will my Eurail Global Pass be okay to use in this train or I have to but a separate and doffrent train ticket?thanksNathaniel
Hello everyone,I have bought and already activated my mobile pass for Sweden ( which is valid from 20 June to 19 July 2022) in the rail planner app a few weeks ago, but now with the update of the app my mobile pass got lost and it isn’t possible to add it again ( there is always error if I try it to add it again)Please help me !!!!!
