Hello,I recently made a reservation to get from Napoli Centrale to Frienze S.M.N through Eurail’s website. However I was given 1st class reservations? My recipt from Eurail states I am a second class pass holder. I was not able to choose first class via the website so I am confused as to why I was given 1st class seat reservations. I have emailed Eurail a week ago and have not had a response of what to do. Edit: *TrenItalia not Italiarail
Hello! I am a bit confused: we booked one overnight ferry (Stockholm-Turku) and one short ferry (Helsinki-Tallinn), both with discount but not free. I assume this is not a travelday, but I am not 100% sure. Can anyone confirm? We have a Global pass with 7 traveldays in 1 month. Thank you!!Ella
Hi!We were planning to travel around Poland soon but somehow it seems impossible to make seat reservations in advance. The Interrail app says its not possible on every connection we planned (for example EC 59 Frankfurt(Oder)-Gdansk Glowny dep. 1345 on may 10), the PKP-website only lets us book reservations including the full fare and also DB cant make reservations online.Does anyone have a recommendation on how we should do this? And if we would book reservations on the train station before departure, aren't we way to late to be guaranteed a seat?
I want to make a reservation for some connections (specifically TGV in France) in about a month for myself and some friends. However I seem to be unable to do so.I can make a reservation for only myself, but as soon as more than one person is part of the trip it shows “NOT AVAILABLE” for every single connection (even though before it said that there are still many seats available). This is the case both for reservations for TGVs in France as well as high speed trains in Italy (which I tried as a test).Does anyone know what the problem is or - even better - how to circumvent this?
Hello, I have purchased a mobile interrail pass few weeks back for a trip in may/june and I realise just now that the country of residence is France. I am french but I live in Sweden and would start my trip from there.Can you manage to change it by any chance? I plan on doing my first trip on May 12th.Thanks a lot
Hello!I am trying to book seat reservations on the Interrail website. The train I would like to book (a TGV Paris-Karlsruhe) is shown as “Not available”. At first I thought the train might be full, but then I also checked other dates (every day of the week) and other cities (Stockholm to Malmö, Hamburg to Karlsruhe or to Amsterdam, etc...)Every single train I checked, regardless of time of day, date or city, is shown as “Not available”.Is there anything wrong with the website or the interface, or am I missing something?For information; I tried on both Chrome and Firefox, as well as the app. I have a valid mobile pass, bought at the end of June, which I will start using next week. I am booking only for myself.Or perhaps I need to add the travel days to the mobile pass first?I’m thankful for any help or tips!Cheers,
How can I book my reservation in the Train [NT300 from Hamburg to Stockholm on 17.07.2022]? I have two digital Global Passes and connected them to the journey. The booking System says “ Prices temporarily unavailable “ and i should try it in some hours. The reservation for the German [EC6] from Osnabrück to Hamburg is available. I can make a reservation for only myself (In the interrail reservation system) , but as soon as more than one person is part of the trip it shows “NOT AVAILABLE” for every single connection (even though before it said that there are still many seats available). This goes for any train in Europe as far as we've seen. It says by the grey I (for information) that you can only reserve seats for people who are known in your acount, yet i can't seem to figure out how to add someone with a mobile pass to my account. We'd like to be seated togheter for our trips, is there any way this is possible if we all have mobile passes.I'm really hoping someone can help me I've been researching and trying things for two weeks now.Kind regards

What was the solution for Pia?I note that my ID/ Passport details are not visible in my Order Overview, which is probably the reason why all my password attempts are being rejected when I try to enter my passport number.URGENT: I need a quick solution as I need to activate my Pass on 5 JulyRemarksI do not recall ever having created a password for using the app, only a password for My Interrail Account, so it seems strange to ask the user to enter a password that was never created! There does not seem to be a place in My Interrail Account to add/change a password, or what the current password is. This is not user-friendly.
Hi all -I know Freccialink buses in Italy are included in the pass coverage as I’ve seen it mentioned in a Product Information circulatory brochure, but does anyone have any idea what they cost to reserve?Are they included in the €10 reservations for the Frecce trains with which they connect, or do they cost an extra €10 on top of that (or some other amount)?Any help very gratefully received indeed, and and a happy new year to you :-)
Hi there, I have a train ticket for Paris Gare du Nord - Amsterdam Centraal on the 17th of July, 7:55 am. I've tried for over a month to reserve a seat, as it is mandatory, but was never able to book the reservation because the site was too laggy/buggy. Today I tried again. And boom! The prices are unavailable and it says it might be due to the train being booked out. I've tried booking for other trains that day and even on the day before or after, to no avail. They all seem to be fully booked. Anyone know what I can do? I've even tried going to my local train station, but they couldn't book the reservation for me. I've tried the SNCF website as well, but you can only book the full train tickets there. I'm freaking out, to be honest. My hotels are all non-refundable and it seems like I might have to cancel my trip because of this issue.

Auf den Bestätigungen steht jedoch bei beiden ein 1. Klasse Sitzplatz. Wisst ihr, wie das sein kann? Ich konnte bei der Reservation nur die 2. Klasse anwählen. Dear all This Saturday I am planning to go from Lille (France) to Barcelona (Spain) with my interrail pass. There is a change of trains in Lyon. For Lille-Lyon I can make my reservations for seats online, for Lyon-Barcelona I cannot - this needs to happen by post 6 days prior to departure (for which I am too late) or in a station. I live in Belgium, and here the local railway service (NMBS) does not provide seat reservation for trains to Barcelona (I really don’t understand why??). My solution is to go on Saturday to Lille (France) early enough and hope that it still will be possible to make reservations for my train from Lyon to Barcelona on that same day. Is there anyone who knows if this is possible? And whether I can check prior to departure whether there are still enough places free?Thank you in advance! Karel
I have recently bought a global paper pass direct from interrail and am trying to book seat reservations in Italy. On the “Italiarail” website it asks for a passholder number for each traveller. I have inputed my pass cover number and all other potential numbers on the pass but nothing seems to work.I contacted customer support and they provided me with a different pass cover number than what is physically in front of me (it now starts I0 instead of mine starting I1) The new number seems to work although I am worried as to why there is a mismatch in numbers in the first place. I could see this being an issue if a ticket inspector looks at my pass and wonders why it is different to the reservation number. Please Help!!!
Hi, I have bought a Global Mobile pass (7 trave days/1 month) and was planning to take this route in a few weeks:Gothenburg - Copenhagen - Hamburg - Frankfurt - Marseille - Barcelona Before I bought my pass, the “book reservations” page made it seem like I would be able to book all of the seat reservations with no issues and it showed me the prices too. However - as soon as I had bought my pass and logged in, it started only telling me “Prices unavailable” or “Prices temporarily unavailable” for the latter part of the trip. It doesn’t matter which departure or date I choose. If I go to bahn.com and sncf.com the train tickets I’m interested in are all available, but for a full price. I could buy these instead, but then there’s absolutely no reason for me to have an Interrail pass and I feel like I have poured money down the drain.Any suggestions on what to do? Thanks in advance.
Hi! I’ve been searching for the best train connections on multiple sites (interrail site, railplanner app and DB) but now I wanted to check if these trains are included in the interrail pass. One of my trains (Triëste - Ljubljana) showed up on the interrail website as “Details unavailable”. It’s a RE train so I think it’s without reservations but it crosses the border (so I’m not sure anymore). I don’t want to book this train, just want to know if I can take it (without reservations). This also showed up for the S-bahn from Brennero Brenner to Innsbruck, but the interrail site (https://www.interrail.eu/en/plan-your-trip/trains-europe/trains-country/trains-austria) told me that it’s included. I checked the page for Slovenia (https://www.interrail.eu/en/plan-your-trip/trains-europe/trains-country/trains-slovenia) but the Trieste-Ljubljana route isn’t listed under the international routes. Does someone know if this train is included in the pass or not? Thanks!
Does anyone know what the following rules mean at TRENITALIA if you travel in 1st class with Interrail. " Access to the executive and premium services class is not allowed on the frecciarossa 4L , where 1st class Interrail holders are allowed to travel in business" I have added a photo, but it has already been translated into Dutch.
Confused about the difference between ''adding a journey'' to the My Trip and ''having a ticket'' for the actual train trip
I am brand new to Eurail and I am trying to plan for our vacation in Europe this summer.I have purchased mobile Global Flexi Eurail passes for both myself and my husband from the Eurail.com site. The passes are the 15 travel days in two month passes and we opted to buy 1st class passes. I then downloaded the Rail Planner app to my iPhone, which is running iOS 15. I have loaded both Global passes onto my phone and connected both of them to a trip. I have not activated the passes yet because the first day of our train travel is still to be determined.In each trip I have created several journeys and saved them to the trips associated with each of the Global passes. When I tap on the My Trip icon for a pass, the journeys all show up. But when I tap on a particular journey in the trip, I don’t get an option to “add the trip” to the pass. What I do get is a detail of the description of the train trip for the journey and and button that says “Search again”.In the list of journeys, none
Hi, We want to go to Montenegro from Greece. So we have to take the train from Thessaloniki to Belgrade. The probleme is we don’t get any information for this train. We don’t know if is working or not. We have another solution : Thessaloniki to Sofia and Sofia to Belgrade but we don’t find information too. Our trip is to make Thessaloniki to Podgorica or Bar (Montenegro) around 20 july. Do you have any solution or information for this trip, because we are stuck. Thanks for your response.
In have a Mobile Pass and I planned a trip in Italy.Now I wanted to book seat reservations for the trains where I need them. If I choose that I have a Mobile Pass in the Interrail Planner App, it tells me that I can only buy reservations in person at train stations. Apparently, it’s only possible to buy reservations online if I have a Paper Pass. But I just found that a bit weird and I was wondering if there is actually no way to buy online reservations with a Mobile Ticket. I would be really thankful if someone could help me here.And if I have to buy reservations in person, can I just buy a seat reservation the same day at a station in Italy? Is it just as simple as that?Isn’t it possible that it’s too late if I buy a reservation one day before or even at the same day?Thank you really much!
