Is it possibile to add new destinations when the pass is already activated?

HelloI have a Global Pass valid for 2 months.I just read on the website something that I don’t quite understand.I wanted to activate the pass next week and I thought I could later add as many trips/connections, new places to visit afterwards depending on where I’ll be and where I want to go next.Is that possible or is it mandatory to add all the travel details from the beginning before the activation of the Pass?Thank you for your help

Meet up in St Brieuc / Dinan / St Malo

Hello everybody!Its my first time posting in this forum and I’m not exactly sure id this is the right place for this stuff, but I’ll give it a try.I’m currently on a journey throughout france, and besides france probably being the worst country when you have no drivers license and are tied to trains, I’m enjoying my route so far.I’ll be in Betragne with stops in Saint Brieuc, Dinan & Saint-Malo from april 8 to april 17, and was wondering if there’s anyone who happens to be in the region too these days and might want to meet up for a coffee or anything?Its my fourth time traveling with Interrail, but until now I’ve always been alone everywhere I go and I might want to change that.Feel free to hit me up!Best wishes to all,Joan

The 2019 trip – a comparison to the historic Interrail in 1975 (2/2)

2019 Interrail trip to Europe Since my first Interrail in 1975 my love for Europe and train travel had never faded. I had repeated the experience on another six occasions. It had always been my intention to do another Interrail once I had retired and revisit places from the 1975 trip and some destinations of other past Interrail trips.. While my itinerary would include places where I had family holidays, it would also include new experiences. There were still a number of places I had not visited that were part of my school boy travel dream. Barcelona and the Matterhorn, to name a few. Of course, the world had changed in a significant way in comparison to 1975, and it would be fair to say I had changed as well- 64 not 20. One major change was of course the Internet. Also I had more resources now to invest in a more comfortable and longer Interrail in 2019. Conditions Apply for German Rail Pass

I have a 15day/2month Global Pass and I am traveling from Munich to Innsbruck. On the planner it is saying "Conditions Apply."Question... 1) What does this mean, 2) Is it something I need to worry about on this particular trip since I have a 15day/2month Global Pass 3) and if it is something to worry about it, how I avoid or correct this?Thank you in advance

How many passes do I need?

Hello!I will be travelling as follows in May: Frankfurt → Berlin → Amsterdam → Paris → London.I am looking to buy a 5 or 7 day Eurail pass, but I don’t understand if I can use this pass to get from Frankfurt to Berlin. I keep seeing that I need to take the ICE train, but I don’t know if this is a separate pass?Thank you in advance.

Unable to book BLS lake Thun boat cruise in Switzerland

Hi everyone, I am unable to book the include BLS river cruise with my Eurail pass. The instructions says to put in the starting location as "Interlaken west (see)" and ending as "Thun (see)" but Interlaken west (see) is not in the Eurail application

Nighttrain through the home country

I have a question regarding a night train. I would like to start from Germany with the Global Pass. My first destination is Prague. From there I would like to take the night train to Zurich. There are two options for this: The EN50466 of the CD via Austria or the EN40458 (Nightjet) of the ÖBB via Germany. Can I travel through Germany with the Global Pass without getting off (EN40458) or do I have to travel around Germany (EN50466)?

FYI - no discount anymore at Lux Express Bus in the Baltics

Hello,for our trip in April/May I tried to book the bus Talinn - Riga and Riga - Vilnius (since trains are not the most efficient way of travelling). On the partner deal page of Interrail it said a discount of 20% is applicable + a code is given. When this code didn’t give the result, I emailed to Lux. I got this answer: Hello!I would like to inform you that our company does not cooperate with Interrail, so unfortunately this discount is not available.Best regards,MartaLux Express Good to know for everyone.

I have an interail pass and am trying to book a couchette on this route in April. It features in seat61 & europe by rail, but all the booking sites send me via Nurenburg or return no Nightjet. Is it operating in April? Daily?Thanks

When to book the NightJet

Hi. I want to book the nightjet from Paris to Salzburg for July but it isn't showing compartments and when I emailed they said I would just have to keep checking website for when the compartments go live. Anyone else had this before? Really worried about missing out and it messing up our whole plan for the holiday. Thanks

Interrailing Summer 2023

Hi all,New to this website, so sorry if this is not the right place for this.Myself and my partner are currently at beginning stages of planning an interrailing trip for June 2023. We’ll be in Barcelona at the start of the month - but ideally some of the other countries we’d like to visit are Croatia, Austria and Switzerland. Our rough plan at the moment is to fly from Barcelona to Budapest. Then take trains from Budapest to Split, then back up to Zagreb - onto Vienna and then Zurich. We are thinking of purchasing the 5 Day in 1 Month pass - hoping that this will cover us. We are just looking for general advice really. Does this route seem doable to people? Have people done anything similar? We are cautions that this will involve a lot of night trains - are these harder to reserve? Any tips or suggestions would be great :)

Train travel in Greece?

Hello guys, I am currently on my interrail trip in Italy and planning to go to Greece, but we all know of the terrible train accident that happened there a couple of days ago, and the railway strikes that followed afterwards. Now I'm doubting if it's smart to go to Greece at all. I can't find much about it on Internet. Is it sensible to go there with Interrail? What are the chances of a new strike (or even a new accident?)? Is it even possible to travel from Athens to the north again by train? Thanks in advance!

Advice for travelling between Beograd - Zagreb

Hi, I am looking for some advice on travelling between Beograd and Zagreb. I am aware the line is currently shut but is there any buses that run from Beograd/Novi Sad to a bordering town/city i.e. Osijek, Vinkovci? Also, has anyone had any recent experience of travelling between Sofia and Beograd? Looks like it can be done via Nis with the aid of a bus from Dimitrovgrad. Thanks for the help.
