Hi! This is my first time using Eurail. I have already purchased my pass and was patiently waiting for 90 days before my trip to book, which is today. However, I went on this morning and it’s saying “price unavailable” and won’t allow me to book the seat reservations. It would be on Sept. 7 from Amsterdam to Paris at 7:15am. Does anyone have any insight on this? Do I have to wait longer? I have a few other trips between Sept. 7 - Sept. 13 that I was planning to book as well over the next few days. Thanks!
Around a week ago I reserved a night train from Budapest to Rijeka on the 8th of July but didn't realise that the tickets don't get delivered until the 6th of July. By then I will already be travelling so won't be able to use the tickets. What should I do as the eurail booking train website didn't let me get an e-ticket for this train and the customer support haven’t responded to me.Any advice on what to do would be appreciated :)
Dear Community,if I added a trip to my one-country pass, but miss the train that leaves on that given time, can I take the next one without changing my ticket in the app?Is it mandatory to follow the exact times?Or is it only important to specify from where to where?Thank you for your reply.zsolt

Hello together,I’d like to travel from Tende to Cuneo with an Interrail Global Pass using the RE22956. According to the Interrail App, a seat reservation is required for this connection (though it’s a regional service?!) Is this correct and if so, where could I book a seat reservation (so far not possible via eurail or Trenitalia). Many thanks in advance!cheers, Julien
Hi, we are trying to get the EC 130 from Bratislava to Krakow at 10:57 on Sunday, however this seems impossible to buy - on the Czech train website, it is greyed out, system error. On the Polish website and OBB it is the same thing. I have asked in the train station twice in Bratislava and everyone says system error come back later (absolutely useless). I tried ringing the Czech website and they said to book it at the train station, and the people in Bratislava said try the website where I got told by them you can’t buy it here. What would you recommend?
Hello, I have a problem during the reservation for a train from Innsbruck to Bologna. When I am on the page to verify my informations, my mobile ticket switches automaticaly to a paper ticket and it tells me that it should arrive on the 4th of july. However, I will already be gone by this date. Also I would really prefer a mobile ticket. Is it normal?Thank you for the response,Chloé
Me and three friends have been planning a train trip through Europe in July. Our country of origin is Sweden and we all have our Interrail mobile passes ready. We have now gotten around to booking seats on some of the trains, but have struggled to book high speed trains from Amsterdam to France on July 6th. The seats seem to be fully sold out on the Interrail website, leaving us the option of instead booking via travel.b-europe.com. However, one member of our group didn’t receive the same confirmation email as the rest of us - his is lacking the Pass Cover number that is required for booking seats via external non-Interrail websites. We are positive that he bought an Interrail pass and not a Eurail pass. He is the only one of us with this issue and he has not been able to reach Interrail customer support. Here’s the info about the specific trains I’m trying to book:Amsterdam Centraal (13:15) - Paris Nord (16:38)Paris Gare de Lyon (17:37) - Marseille-St-Charles (20:57)both on date: 06/7
We are currently in Scotland. We are trying to book a trip to Germany, that stops over in London, but somehow we can't. We tried to test it if its just London. But we can't book anything. We paid for the one month pass for approximately €682ish or $1100+ NZD. We were wondering, if there are extra costs to actually book a train ride etc. What is the use of buying that expensive one month pass? Help please. If only we knew, we wouldn't have booked a eurail pass that expensive if it was going to be useless
Hi,I have a seat reservation for my Amsterdam - Berlin train. I made the reservation on the DB website and they gave me a proof of payment (ticket with the seat location). Do you know if I have to add it to my interrail pass or with the proof of payment is enough? Thank u
I reserved two seats on the TGV 8362 from La Rochelle to Paris in 1st class. As the train was replaced with a different composition of carriages we were no longer able to travel in 1st class. Are we able to get any compensation as we couldn’t travel 1st class or any refund on our reservations?
Hello, I try to book London to Newcastle on july 4 and always get this answer on all the trains: “Not Available from interrail.eu” Could this mean that it is not at all possible to book this ticket true my interrail pass? So i will have to buy/pay the ticket? Or what do i do if i want to use my interrail pass for this trip. Thank you for the reply!
If a train (that does not require reservations) is fully booked, can we still board it without sitting down?
Hello,My friends and I are planning on doing an Interrail trip this summer and we had a question about the seat reservations. Some trains seem to be fully booked on the days we were planning on taking them but the seat reservations are not required to board the train. Is it possible to still take the train without sitting down or is the seat required to board the train ?Thank you for the help,Louise
I'm due to make an inbound trip with a Global Pass to the north of England on 25 June, when there is now a major strike planned. Assuming the Eurostar runs but I can't get the onward train home from London, will it be possible to extend my inbound trip to the following day and if so who should I ask to do this?
Hello, me and my friends are currently booking trains for our route and were worried about short transfer times - we were wondering what the difference is between a ‘short transfer’ and a ‘transfer by foot’ and are these usually safe to do or quite risky?Thank you!
Hello,I want to book the reservations for the seats, where it is required. But in Spain and partly in France I cant reservate the seats and it saysmthat I have to book them at the train station. The chance that the seats aren’t available anymore when I get to the train staions are pretty big. Especially because we are a group of 8.So what shoul/could I do? How can I reservate the seats without being in Barcelona e.g.? The second thing is, that there was a chance to do the reservation from Bordeaux to Boulogne online. When I got to the website it said, that they need the pass cover number (from the paper pass) but I don’t have it, because I booked the mobile pass. What schould I do? Greetings and thanks
Hi, what a nightmare trying to navigate with seat reservations...thought travelling by train through Europe was suppose to be easy!! So far have had to pay for seat reservations for each journey and now trying to book Eurostar to London and through a different website it will cost 90 euros with the Europass. TBH at the point of wanting to cancel the lot. Seems everyone is having the same problem with seat reservations. Sorry for the moan just fed up with it now.
Hello, I have already purchased the pass for the month of August and I can not book the Rome to Munich route, because I can not add to my shopping cart the train trip for August 17, the system tells me that it is an invalid purchase, I have insisted several days and tells me the same error. What can I do about it?
