Hi there, I’m traveling through Italy with an Interrail pass this summer and will be staying in Levanto from July 24 to 26. I’d love to get some local tips on where to go out in the evenings—bars, live music, beach parties, or any cool places to meet people and enjoy the atmosphere. Do you have any recommendations for nightlife spots in Levanto or the Cinque Terre area during those dates? Thanks a lot in advance! Best regards,Nick

I got a Interrail pass today. It was 67EU for Poland. And I have a D-ticket for Germany. I’m planning a trip to Poland, and with this pass, I was like: great, this will be cheap!The ticket on bahn.de is 32 Euros from Frankfurt an der Oder to Lodz. As I said, the pass was 67EU, so I thought, “Great, I have 35 euros left and then I will be saving money!”But now, when I’m trying to book my seat it is showing up for 2nd class as an additional 24EU. That feels like a scam supreme.Am I missing something? Like, why am I paying 67EU for the Interrail pass to save… 8EU on my trip?

Hi my husband and I are travelling on a pass in September. We have two Eurail passes and wanted to use my mobile to do the planning and book reservations. What is the best way to do this? At the moment I have both passes on my mobile and they have separate trip names (the App asked me to make a duplicate name) Is this the best way to plan trip? Thanks 

Hi! I am a Sri Lankan girl working in Serbia and have been working in Serbia for a year and a half now. I am currently planning my 7-day intercity train trip through Europe (I am coming from Serbia) and I am planning to buy a Eurail Global Pass. But is it possible to participate in the European tour with a TRC issued for Serbian foreigners? I am looking for an overview of all the discounts that apply to the countries I am visiting. But could you please clarify a little about the visas or legal documents required to enter Italy, France, Greece?

My first time using Eurail is coming up in September and October this year.  I have purchased 2 senior global passes on Eurail mobile app.  I have seat reservations purchased on Rail Europe (printed with QR codes) for 2 different Eurostar legs.  I also have two 1st class seat only reservations for two more trips purchased via the Db Bahn website that show up in their mobile app on my phone - these have no QR code.I have researched quite a bit to figure out how to use these seat reservations with our Eurail passes but I am confused about the following:1- do I set up the trips in the Eurail app and connect them to my Pass even though I am not buying seat reservations via the Eurail app?   2- If so, how do I use one of the travel days I have with my Eurail Pass with the trips for which I have seat reservations purchased via other sites.3 - Do I just show the printed seat reservation tickets from Rail Europe when boarding the train or while on the train and a

Hello my name is Cathal I'm 30 and I am keen on travelling from the 8th August for two weeks.  First time interrailing can anyone advise - is my travel plan interesting and doable? What am I to expect, it's my first time travelling solo and I am someone who would be classed as a sociable person would hostels be recommended as accommodation? And is anyone planning to travel? Hi, I purchased a 7 day travel day (mobile pass) w/in 1 month last night and went to activate my pass/input my passport # in when I saw that I could not enter the desired dates for travel. I want to start using my pass July 1st but it is only allowing me to start it September 1st. I’ve tried everything I can think of to adjust it (including deactivating and then reactivating it) to see if I can move the dates…but nothing as worked. I never saw any specifications of dates when I purchased the pass, so I’m very confused. What do I do? My mom and I leave Tuesday and I want to get this sorted. Thank you!

Hi. I can’t believe I have to ask this but I have read through the whole website, watched the videos, read the FAQs and tried to find answers in the Community. Still, I’m confused with trips, journeys, activations, tickets and so on. I believe I will find my way through it when it’s time to travel, but to avoid extra stress, my question is: are these (below) the right steps to use the Mobile Pass?I have the “5 days per months pass”. I have the app and I have connected my pass to it. Is this what I’ll do next:1) Create 5 trips, one for each travel day, and connect them to the pass2) Find the right journeys for each travel day and connect them to the right trip (or is that possible before the pass is valid?)3) Activate the pass when day one is coming closer4) On travel day, create a ticket by choosing the right journey from my trips and add it to the pass (will this also activate the ticket?)

Is there a 1st class lounge for Eurail 1st class pass holders in Naples and if so, where would I find it?

So I’m planning on travelling from Germany to UK then back to Germany.I realise I can’t then use the pass to leave Germany again; but if I pay for my own ticket to get to Poland can I use any residual days on my pass in Poland?Thanks for any help and advice

Hello,  we leave tomorro and when I try to introduce the pass says that details don’t match. What can we do.  

We want to travel from ljubljana to budapest 19th of july.As the direct train doesn't go in july we are looking for an other route. Right now our best option looks to be 8:55 from budapest via Wien and Graz so we will be 17:37 in Ljubljana. In Graz the transfer time is short, 5 minutes.What do you think of this route and the short transfer time? Are there better options?

Hallo ZusammenIch ziehe in Betracht im nächste Jahr 2026 eine Interrailreise zu machen und wollte gerne die Erfahrungen Meinungen von euch wissen. Mein Reise soll starten in Bukarest wo ich 5 Tage bleibe. Danach habe ich gesehen das es einen NZ gibt ab Bucuresti Nord Gara A um 17.58 mit Ankunft um 08.50 in Budapest Keleti.Ich habe gelesen 2 mal kontrolliert wird an der Grenz dass man aussteigen muss und bei der Grenzstelleoffice den Pass vorzeigen muss ist das richtig?Ist das richtig wenn ich um 17.58 ab Bucuresti abreise und das so eintrage im Interrailpass das es als 1 Tag zählt ausser wenn ich umsteige das ich ein 2 tag einschrieben muss was bei dieser Verbindung nicht der Fall wäre?Ich habe mich mal umgeschaut für ein Schlafwagen Preis bei der Ungarischen Bahn und habe gesehen für ein 2er Abteil Schlafwagen bezahlt man 42 Euro für 1 Single sind es 98 Euro was für den Preis recht günstig ist. Was ist da zu empfehlen Tipps Erfahrungen?

Hoi guys,Weten jullie misschien nog leuke routes met de trein? Ben nu aan het rondkijken voor korte trip naar het buitenland. Ik had begrepen van bronnen dat de hogesnelheidstrein van naar Budapest, Hongarije eind dit kwartaal gelanceerd zou worden. 

For my ferry going from Venice to Patras I made a reservation that doesn't appear on the app when I want to add my trip. Can I add whatever to just get the QR code for my travel day and then show my separate tickets for the ferry? Or does the reservation need to match rhe trip added to the app? Also, other trips departures and arriving times are not what the ones on their own websites say.Thank you so much for you help!

Die nächste Interrail-Reise 2025 ist ihm Planung, aber ich habe mich noch nicht entschieden, aber folgende Städte möchte ich mit dem Interrail besuchen:Stockholm-Kopenhagen-Hamburg Budapest-Bratislava-PragWie ist es so mit dem Nachtzug ich gesehen habe es gibt 2 Nachtverbindungen 22.03/23.57 nach Stockholm welche würdet ihr empfehlen und wie sind die Preise Sitzplatzwagen, Liegewagen… was sind eure Erfahrungen… Lohnt sich eher 1./2. Klasse ….Bei Stockholm Kopenhagen Hamburg möchte ich gerne vermeiden, im Herbst Winter zu gehen, da es Schnee hat und kalt ist. Ich habe von vielen gehört mitte Mai Juni soll es recht warm sein was ideal wäre für mich frage ich oder eure Erfahrungen was daher die beste Reisezeit ist?Ich würde 5 Tage in Stockholm, 5 Tage Kopenhagen und 4 Tage Hamburg planen.  Hello,We had added a train to our Eurail Pass before it was changed by the train company (DB).Now we’ve been moved to a different train. What happens with the old reservation and the pass entry?Do we need to update the train details on our Eurail Pass?Also, do we have to book new seat reservations, or is the old one still valid?Thank you!

I have reserved seats through the app and received my car and seat number. I would like to view a seat map ahead of my trip but I need to know the specific train operator.  How do I find that information? The only thing next to my trip is EXP Express
