I’m trying to go from Amsterdam Centraal (or Zaandam) to Coutances, France. I’m trying book for the day after tomorrow 11/23. I understand seats possibly running out due to how late I’m booking. But no matter how far in advance I check for seat reservations (this photo shows 11/28) every route I check which has Paris to Lison gives me an error code of E0620.  Is this the systems way of trying to tell me that they’re out of seats without actually saying it?

Hi, I understand that the pass is the ticket but I do not understand how the pass knows if there is still space on the train. For example, I want to travel from Annecy to Munich. I will have to stop off in Annemasse, Geneva and Zurich. Some of these journeys say "booking recommended". So the booking is not obligatory. But what if I confirm the entire trip, get to Zurich and want to create the ticket for the Zurich - Munich stretch and the app tells me " sorry there is no more space on this train" ? Even on trains that do not require any booking. I guess that if the train is full, the ticket machine or person does not sell you a ticket...? So is that not the same for interrail? Or does the app kind of create a seat for me when I confirm the trip? Even if I have not paid for a seat? I have not taken many trains before 😅

Hello everyone.I live in Canada and I need some help here.On 26-OCT I booked a sleeper for two people using my Eurail Global Pass through RailEurope.com. The train I booked is the InterCityNotte number 797 from Trenitalia leaving Milano on 07-JAN at 22h18 and arriving Napoli Centrale next morning at 08h46. My credit card was charged and I received email confirmations from RailEurope and Trenitalia, with my reservation attached to those emails.The problem I am experiencing is that this train disappeared from Trenitalia timetable, as if it wasn’t running any more on January 7th. I haven’t received any email neither from RailEurope nor from Trenitalia to inform me that the train was canceled. I would like to know if it’s “normal” a train that was selling tickets disappear from the timetable or if I have to start to think about another train itinerary to get to Napoli. Thank you in advance Marcelo

I'm planning a night train journey soon and have a question regarding the Interrail mobile app's behavior. I'm hoping some experienced travelers can help me out!My journey details are: Departure from Budapest-Keleti (19:10 on July 8th) and arrival at Dresden Hbf (05:53 on July 9th).From what I understood, for direct overnight trains, only one day should be marked as a travel day. However, the mobile app has marked both July 8th AND July 9th as travel days for this specific journey.I've attached two screenshots.  The first one shows the full journey preview, and the second highlights a potential change point at Břeclav (though the train number seems to continue as EN 40476).Is this normal be

Unable to add one more pass in rail planer app . My pass added but no option to add one more pasd

Travelling on a 4 day 1st class pass on Thursday 20th November. Ferry arrives at IJmuiden at 9.45. Any recommendations for how to travel to Gent-Dampoort reservation free?There are engineering works between Uitgeest and Santpoort-Noord with a bus replacement service and so I was thinking that we’d start at Santpoort-Noord. NS suggests Santpoort-Noord to Haarlam to Rotterdam Central to Antwerp to Gent. Travel planner suggests Santpoort-Nord to Amsterdam Sloterdijk to Schiphol Airport to Antwerp to Gent DB all include EuroStar which we didn’t want to use. Fortunately we are not in a hurry but would appreciate anyone’s ideas on how best to do this day’s travel. I am an Australian resident and tried to buy an Interrail pass for a family member in the UK. I put in the UK address and details, then uncheck the box to separate UK address from billing address. However, the drop down screen does not let me put in a non European billing address. Is there no way to do this?

J'ai un voyage planifié dans Railplanner en 2026.Il y a dedans par erreur un trajet au 8 octobre 2025, donc dans le passé. Il est impossible de le supprimer car l'action "supprimer le trajet" n'est pas proposée quand on fait un appui long dessus.Je pense que c'est un bug de Railplanner. Mais que faire ?Merci d'avance

I've got both these options showing as possible (and also changing at Chiasso for Milano). Both use a (the same!) Eurocity train for part of the route.Any views or suggestions? Thanks. I'm travelling tomorrow.

We have already purchased our Eurail pass, our first trip by train is from Brasov (Romania) to Budapest Hungary, We leave Brasov on April 24 2026, when can I reserve our seats as Im told no trains at this stage, any particular company I should use. Thank you.

Hi - I have purchased 3 x Eurail Passes and have commenced booking trains.However in the Trip Planner where we are planning the trip, it says reservation required - but have already done that and have it confirmed. Can we link the reservation into the trip planner on the website so we know that this segment has been completed?  coming up with us requiring to book passes as ads - doesnt seem to recognise that we have already purchased passes - we are logged in, and my account shows all the correct information (that I have purchased tickets, names of travellers etc) Does the reservations how up in the mobile app?  I cant seem to see the tickets in the mobile app?  I can see them on the website.  Thank you for your advice

Hola Comunidad: Solicito de su experiencia en viajes en tren por europa, tengo planeado viajar con mi familia desde Paris Francia a Lucerna Suiza, quedarme dos dias en Lucerna para ver los alpes Suizos y de ahi viajar hasta Milan Italia, Solicito de sus recomendaciones para las rutas de trenes que debo usar. Saludos y muchos viajes 

For the Eurail train pass purchased for 7 consecutive days in a month, are there free connections from German (e.g., Baden Baden) or French (e.g., Strasbourg) train stations to light rail and/or buses that take you to/from city centers? Or is there a separate fee for the light rail and buses to/from city centers? Thanks in advance for any response(s).

Can one Login to the Eurail Planner App?If so, how? If not, why?Note: The ‘answer’ given elsewhere just says that the app does not ‘sync’.  It does not state explicitly whether one can log into the app or not.Thanks,Paul

Does having a Eurail Pass mean I don't need to book tickets on the Avanti West Coast website? Can I just go to the station to reserve a seat and then take the train to my destination?The Eurail website is confusing me; I can't book seats on the Avanti West Coast. But if I buy tickets on the Avanti West Coast website, what's the point of having a Eurail Pass?My plan is to travel from London Euston to Glasgow Central in the morning, and then take the Sleeper train back to London from there.Does anyone teaching me how the process? thank you in advance.

Hi,I am planning my first trip to Europe next spring.  From May to June for about 30-34 days.  I’m most likely flying from Vancouver to Paris and going home from Amsterdam.  Though I’m very excited planning and looking at destinations to go, I’m also very overwhelmed by it.I’m looking for some itinerary and destinations suggestions for France and  the Netherlands and other countries to visit in between.  I’m hoping to visit at least 4 countries.   My interests are art and gothic/medieval architecture and local artisans.  I don’t drive, so I’ll be using transit and walking.Some destinations I’m interested in are Venice and Prague, but wondered if the countries are too spread out and there would be too much travel time? I’m also considering flying into Venice first instead of Paris.Thanks! I look forward to hearing some suggestions and advice.

Dear All Community member,I am the holder of Eurail Global Pass 2nd Class.I plan to make seat reservation for my upcoming trip from Lourdes to Paris Montparnasse on December 28. However, after I checked the schedule on that date, there is no 2nd Class seat available. It is only 1st class seat.Is there any suggestions for me how to be able to board the train on that date? Because it is mandatory to have seat reservation, and as I know for 2nd class pass holder, we can't book 1st class seat.Thank you for your help.

Hi! i dont think its clear to me from what i read what should i do the rest of the days that i am not using my travel pass. For example i travel a day and i use as many trains i want with my pas which is clear, i stay in a hotel and the next day i want to explore the area around. If i use a train i should not use my travel pass as this will count as a travel day and i will lose one day of my journey right? i should issue new tickets for trains, metro or use a bus etc, is this right?

Hi :)we want to book a sleeping compartment for 3 persons mixed gender (family). If we book a woman’s compartment with 3 beds will it be fine for the train company or is it not allowed? It’s only us in the compartment so it doesn’t matter?
