I want to go from Luleå to Rovaniemi.I’m thinking route Luleå → Haparanda (by bus)Haparanda → Kemi (by bus)Kemi → Rovaniemi (by train) I have a Eurail Global Pass.I think I can use the Eurail Pass from Kemi to Rovaniemi, but is it possible to use the Eurail Pass benefits on buses?I read an article that there are special benefits for buses from Luleå to Rovaniemi and Haparanda to Kemi, but I can't find the details, so please let me know.
Hallo, ich hab mir zwar schon einige Beiträge hier im Forum dazu durchgelesen, aber so richtig verstanden habe ich es trotzdem nicht. Und zwar habe ich meinen Pass jetzt schon aktiviert. Allerdings überlege ich mir eventuell vor Reisebeginn ein neues Handy zuzulegen (zwecks besserer Kamera etc.). Jetzt stellt sich mir aber die Frage, ob (und wenn ja wie) ich den Pass auf meinem neuen Handy wieder aktiviert bekomme. Der Reisezeitraum hat natürlich noch nicht bekommen und wenn ich im Pass selbst oben auf die drei Punkte gehe, wird mir die Möglichkeit des Dealtivierens angezeigt, als auch den Pass auf ein anderes Gerät zu verschieben. Geht das darüber oder muss ich den Pass über einen anderen Weg verschieben? Ich danke schonmal für eine Antwort! :)
I just got fined 50 euro travelling from Paris to Avignon because I hadn’t validated my Eurail pass prior to boarding the train. I had booked seats for me and my family of 5 but didn’t realised I had to validate the pass on the day of travel. The inspector suggested it was 50 euro fine for each of my travelling party (250) but when I said no to that he reduced it to 50. Now I’m hearing from other passengers that he should have let me go as we validated all 5 passes then and there. Should I report him or is this normal?
Ahoj,with an InterRail pass I just got charged in the RENFE Feve from Ferrol to Oviedo 12.25 EUR.I think the complete Feve network is free of charge with a valid InterRail pass with correctly filled in details.The ticket I got selled seems to be half the price of the official fare.I think this was a mistake, and I would like to get my money back.Is there anyone aware of* official documentation in spanish about InterRail validity on Feve, so I can show that to people at a ticket office? Hello everyone! I will be traveling to Switzerland and Italy and was checking to see if 1 multiple days Eurail pass suffice for all travel within Switzerland. I plan to go from Zurich to Rome, to Florence and then Venice. Not sure if global pass will cover all the trains. Thank you in advance for your guidance!
Can 1st class Eurail Pass holder use 1st class coaches (Prefente) on Renfe AVE trains and also use the Sala Club Lounges in Spanish train stations before departure?
I have been reading articles on Seat 61, but still feel a bit confused about if 1st class Eurail pass holders can reserve seats in the premium coaches, have meals included, and also use the Sala Club Lounges in Spanish train stations before departure.Below is the screenshot from the article on Seat 61:We will take the train from Paris to Barcelona, Barcelona to Madrid, Madrid to Seville in separate days. We were wondering if we could use the Sala Lounges in both Barcelona Sants Station and Madrid Puerda De Atocha Station. If so, maybe we could book a slightly later train in the morning so we could spend some time and have some breakfast in the Sala Lounges.Thank you in advance :)
Hello - We have a global pass and we are currently in the US. We are trying to book the 11:22am - 6:20pm trip from Prague to Budapest on November 17th in First Class but it is requiring seat reservations. We tried to book that online but apparently it is paper tickets only and we received a message telling us that we can't book this online because the paper tickets can't get to us on time. Is there any way that we can book our seat reservations now without paper tickets?
We are planning a trip to Switzerland in May. We will be traveling from Paris to Berne.We would like to extend four to five extra days and travel on a couple of the Switzerland Scenic train trips.Can you tell me if we should have a Swiss Rail Pass or if the Eurorail will work as we will use that to get from Paris to Berne?Can you recommend three days of travel on trains, boats, etc that would get us to see the best of Switzerland and start and end up in Berne? We are senior citizens and really do not plan on hiking or doing lots in many cities, just seeing the views and getting off and on for meals and overnight. Thank you.

I noticed this morning that my account on Eurail.com and the Eurail Rail Planner app are not matching. For example, my trips don't match on both platforms and the seat reservations I made and paid for on the website don't show up on the app. Did I do something wrong? How should I fix this? Thanks!
I activated 6 passes (my family) on my phone but used the confirmation number rather than the passport number in the required box. (Long story, embarrassing I know) We have booked one trip it’s not for another month. Can I deactivate and then deactivate (on same device) with light affecting my trip? Unfortunately my telephone fell in the water. On it was my mobile pass for eurail for this summer. Now I can not install the mobile pass on a different device. When I try I get the message it is not possible since it is already installed on a different device (the broken telephone). What to do? How can I install the mobile pass on a different telephone? Hello: My friend and I are travelling around Europe next month. And are going to a couple of smaller cities/towns including Montreux, Switzerland, Genoa, Italy, and Cinque Terre, and La Spezia. Does Eurail have trains that go to these places? Is there a map I can see of all train stations that Eurail is included on? David
Hello,I have seen variations of this question but none quite answer my specific concern.So, perhaps someone can offer some insight. We have 4 Eurail 2nd class passes and we’re trying to reserve Nice-Marseille on the https://travel.b-europe.com site. This site is provided on the eurail site as one of the alternate options when booking seat reservations. The site asks for our eurail ticket class and I promptly provide the correct info, 2nd class passes. The site then shows us two options for tickets, 2nd class tickets and 1st class tickets. The first class tickets are actually cheaper (68 Euro v 80 Euro) and if I continue, it will still acknowledge that we have indeed 2nd class passes and have 1st class tickets in our cart. It even details the discount applied. So my question is can I buy and use these first class tickets?I read so many answers detailing that since first is more expensive you’ll wind up paying the difference but in this instance 1st class is actually cheaper and I
I would like to tie my pass to both my mobile phone and my tablet. The overview is better on the tablet so I´d like to use that for planning but the mobile is better for registering actual trips and has always internet connectivity (tablet can work on wifi).As I try to register my pass on the mobile phone I get a question if I was to disassociate my pass with other devices, when I press no I do not get the option to associate the pass.Any help on how to would be welcome.
My moblie pass is valid on the travel day (it is shown on my phone), but the barcode scanned by the ticket inspector says the pass only valid for the next day. Why is this?This happens three times in Switzerland since yesterday. Before yesterday, the pass works fine.
Hello, I never received my paper passes following an order on the Interrail site. The pass is for 22 days. The delivery man did not find my address, so the passes are returned to the Netherlands at interrail. However after 4 or even 5 contacts with interrail, no return of their pass, no response. This worries me because my holidays are coming, that I would like to organize my trip and that I have committed a large sum of money. What should be done in this case? Tanks you for your help, Lea
