Seat Reservations Brussels, Amsterdam, London

Hello, I am trying to reserve seats to travel between Brussels and Amsterdam. Through the Eurail website I booked EUR 9303, which leaves at 7:52 am, but when I go to the seat reservation page it only shows me train EUR 9301, so I don't know how to make the reservation. Otherwise, I cannot find the trains EUR 9322 for the Amsterdam-Brussels route and ES 9125 for the Brussels-London route. Could you tell me what these situations are due to or where I should make reservations? Thank you so much.

Very Urgent Question!!

My husband and I need to book seats ASAP for March 31, a popular day. We want to travel from Victoria Station in London to Shoreham by Sea. When I begin to book this it says, second traveller. Then it asks for my Europass number. It tells me it is above the QR code on our paper pass. That is an 8 digit number. When I try to type it in, it is too long!!!! So how in the world am I to find my pass number. It also says it is in our ‘confirmation email.’ We neve got a ‘confirmation email.’ Feeling desperate here. Many thanks!!!Leslie

Newby First Timer Looking For Guidance

Hi Everyone. Just to introduce myself as Dave from “Up North” (Middlesbrough). I’m looking to purchase a Flexi Pass (4 days) for the first time as I’m thinking about treating myself to a trip aboard for my 55th birthday next month. Due to my irrational fear of flying my preference is to try the train option. For me the purpose of the train option is basically a means to an end as I’m looking to spend 5 days in Benidorm. In a nutshell I’m thinking 2 days travel each way with an overnight stop somewhere between. If i can call on your good selves experience do you think this is doable with a 4 day pass? Also, can I use my first day on the pass to travel from Darlington to Paris (as i was a little confused with The Man In Seat 61’s explanation)? I’m trying to factor in costs but am i right in saying its a bit of an unknown due to the varaible cost of seat reservations. Will that cost make the trip financially nonviable maybe? Thanks in advance for any help as it will be well received. Dave

Supplement payable on the Verona to Brenner line

We plan to travel between Verona and Innsbruck on successive days. Verona-Trento-Bressanone-Brenner-Innsbruck.I understand that for the Frecciarossa trains we would need to pay for a seat reservation so we would not get those trains. On some of the other trains there is (differently phrased depending on whether I look at Train Europe or the RailPlanner or Trenitalia) some trains that  say that a supplement is required and a few where no supplement is required. many questions are what is correct for non-reservation trains? For an hour or so we would not get the trains that require a reservation. Do we need to pay a supplement (I think we pay this at the station?) for each time we use one of those trains even though we are not crossing into Austria until the final day?

I have an interrailcard and want to use the discount in italy, on trenit. But I cant se how to do that? Anyone now how to use your eurorail card/discount when travel whit trenitalia?

Hi, my name is Letizia. I am an italian girl from Milan who is planning to do the interrail in the first weeks of august (roughly from July 28th to August 14th). Suggest of buying ticket for no of days

Hi All,  I need suggestion on how many travel days pass should I book. Below is my itenary:  Travel Day 1: Reaching Basel from Rome by Air and taking same day  train from Basel to Interlaken as I have stay booked in Interlaken. Within Interlaken , we also plan to travel to Junfrau mountain via the local train.  Travel Day 2: Take train From Interlaken to Innsbruke  Travel Day 3: Take train from Innsbruke to Prague Travel day 4: Prague to Berlin.  I was booking 4 days Interrail but I am getting suggestions of booking 5 days. Which does not make sense to me that is the reason I thought of checking from the experts. Please help.

Exchange Pass

Hello, My partner and I bought a Mobile 7-day Global Pass, but we feel we got the wrong pass… We figured out that we only need 3 days of train travel, hence we should have gotten the Mobile 4-day Global Pass. We already paid and reserved our seats for our trains with the 7-day pass, but we have not yet activated the pass as we are starting our trip at the end of March 2024. A couple questions:Can we exchange our pass from a Mobile 7-day Global Pass to a Mobile 4-day Global Pass? Although we already booked our trains with the Mobile 7-day Global Pass, if we exchange our pass to a Mobile 4-day Global Pass, will we have to rebook our trains? (we fear that if we have to re-reserve our trains, we will lose the reservations we had already made since it seems the leg of our trip from London to Paris has limited reservations available as we are traveling on Easter Monday). Thank you so much in advance! PRICE CLARIFICATION

We are thinking about purchasing a Eurail Pass for our holiday later this year. When I look at Rome2Rio, the price for a mid morning fast train from Paris to Bordeaux (for example), is approx $100 AUD pp. By comparison, the price on the Rail Planner app is from Euro 12 pp. Please assist me to better understand how to access pricing on Rail Planner. Thank you.

HiNew here and looking at a European round trip which appears to cost just over 400 euros, including London. But, if I look at travel on mainland GB it appears to cost over 600 euros.On trains travelling from e.g. Penzance to London, can you board anywhere along it’s journey?Asking because many places are listed.Please forgive my ignorance, just learning and planning.Thanks

Hello, this will be our first time to Europe and have a couple questions.  We are traveling in Aug/Sept 2024 so we have time to plan.Our trip is 3 parts.  First part, arrive in London and travel to Edinburgh by train - travel around Scotland for 4 days and then train back to London.Part 2, fly from London to Budapest for 3 or 4 days.Part 3, travel from Budapest by train, probably going Salzburg, Munich, Zurich, and ending in Basel.  Spending a night in each city.Does a 4-7 day Eurail pass make sense (which would cover the London to Edinburgh legs, as well as Budapest to Basel), or would it be easier to just buy tickets as we go?  Days of travel will be known and our schedule will be flexible as far as train times are concerned.If we do go with a pass, is a paper pass easier to work with?  I’ve been reading reviews about issues with the app, wifi, etc. I can’t find much information on what you do with the paper pass when you are ready to board a train.Thank you!

Trouble booking train between Paris and Lucerne using Global Pass

Hi there - I apologize in advance for not being able to figure this out. Been trying and researching for about 2 weeks!  Coming to Europe in June 2024 for my twin daughters high school graduation. Already purchased our Eurail Global Pass, and have booked a few trains. Stuck trying to book Paris to Lucerne on Monday, June 3. I see that there are some high speed trains between these cities with 4 hr 45 min routes, however I cannot figure out how to book one of these with my Eurail Global Pass?!?  All I can find is longer, 6-7 hour train trips.  How can I book the shorter train trip using my pass?  THANK YOU!

Hi ! I am currently on a trip around Sweden and Norway and everything is fine (despite the strike in France on the Day of departure...). Our outbound Journey was Poitiers/Paris/Dusseldorf. Bonjour,je n’ai pas imprimé mon billet de retour en quittant la France et il est impossible ici ou en ligne de le récupérer manifestement. Je suis à Budapest et voudrais acheter un autre billet dans un train de nuit avec couchette. A la gare, l’employée n’avait aucune envie de faire un quelconque effort en anglais et m’a renvoyée sur une machine. Boden C connection from Stockholm to Haparanda

On February 20th I will travel from Stockholm to Haparanda on the way to Rovaniemi. We are concerned that the Boden connection is only 11 minutes. Every day for the last 2 weeks the train from Stockholm has arrived late in Boden. Also today /13 minutes/ My question is, does the train to Haparanda wait for the arrival of the train from Stockholm and possibly until how many minutes late is the connection to Haparanda provided?
