Hello everyone,I am starting my interrail journey tomorrow and I noticed my year of birth in my mobile pass is wrong. I texted customer service via form on the web, thru Facebook and email as well. I claimed it is urgent since I leave on 8th of August 2022, but still with no respond. I am kinda panicking tho.What am I supposed to do? Thank you for your advices. Have a lovely day.
I’ve tried several times now to book a reservation for a train from Hamburg to Copenhagen on 8th-9th August, leaving just before midnight and arriving just before 7am. The seat is showing up on the search results unlike fully booked seats on other trains where there’s a message that the price is unavailable. I can add the seat to my cart, but at the last page before payment I get an error message. Why can’t I book the seat? Is this a problem with the Interrail website or have all the seats been fully booked? Thank you if someone can help!
Hello ! I am trying to book a train from Sofia to Bucharest in September but the Interrail site says the seat reservations are unavailable. Do these reservations need to be booked on a separate website or in person at the station in Sofia?Also, if anybody has taken this train before do you have any advice on how much this reservation might cost? Thanks!
HelloSo on Monday I am starting my trip below. We are stopping in Milano for a few hours before going to Firenze. So i had to enter the trip as 2 journeysWhen I activated my pass, i tapped on the first journey from Mulhouse to milano centrale and that generate one qr code in my passMy question is when I arrive at Milano right before boarding the train frol Firenze, can I tap on the qr button then, and will it then generate another qr code valid for this one travel day, or will it counts for another travel day? If I can generate several qr code for 1 travel days, one for each journey added, is it better to break down a journey proposed by the rail planner into several sub journey in case something happend in between the sub journey and I would need to change the itinerary? Hi community! I have an Interrail pass and was making a seat reservation for a TGV, when the app forwarded me to the Eurail website instead. So now I have an activated Interrail pass + a Eurail seat reservation.Can I just show my Interrail pass on the day? Or will there be a trouble because of the mismatch?Would be grateful for your experiences:)
Hi! I'm travelling with Interrail through Europe for the first time. I'm a little dissapointed about the fact that I can't make any reservation (not to Paris, not to Basel, etc). I cant imagine that every single train has not even 1 place left. Tomorrow my trip goes from Paris to St.Niklaus (Switserland) and I cant take the trains without reservations. Does anyone has an idea what I can do and where I can check if theres a ticket available?
Sorry for asking, but I am still not clear about outbound/ inbound journey. I plan to travel from Lindau (Germany) to Stockholm (Sweden) as my outbound journey. The connection I would take is a day train and a night train from Hamburg to Stockholm. My concern is that I will leave Germany by this night train after midnight, which means I will be travelling two days to get out of Germany. As I read in other questions this trip is then counted as outbound AND inbound journey right? Are there any advises to work around this issue (except booking an earlier train)?Thanks for your help!!
HelloOn August 22 I would like to get back from Praha to Mulhouse in France. Most of the trips that don't require reservation based on rail plannar require a lot of connections. And some connection at night makes me witait up to 3-4h at the train station (Decin)So i'm looking for alternative trip, like doing Praha-Zurich - basel - mulhouse but the timetable doesn't work out well…Do you have any suggestion as to trips I could make to go home? It can be a trip using 1 or 2 travel days actually
Hi everyone,I have to ask a question. We are going to travel all around the north of Europe and finally we have almost everything booked. But we have one problem. We will be traveling also from Tornio Itainen to Helsinki (start 2.9. 22:16 → end 3.9. 10:45) - seat reservation required. This train is normally in railplaner app and I can also find it on eurail reservation system, but when I want to buy reservation, it writes to me this (viz added picture). Do you know why? Did sth like this happened to somebody?Than I checked the train on www.vr.fi and its completely empty. I also write on their customer service and there they told me, that only seat reservation without ticket I need to buy it through calling their service or in Helsinki train station (in where I am traveling, so I wont be able to buy it here). Did anybody had the same problem and solved it out somehow?Thanks a lot
Hi, Currently completing last minute details for a month long trip through 5 countries. I’ve been able to find perfect times for all of my trains and have added them to my journey. I’m running into an issue where all of my travel days add up to 12 travel days. This leaves me short 2 days on the 10 day pass but with 3 excess days I wouldn't be able to use. I was curious if I’m able to purchase just single days or if it has to be a pass? Any advice? Also, 8/12 of my travel days require seat reservations (one requiring global pass). Is the pass worth it or do you think I’ll end up paying extra? Best, Rachel
I have just booked my first journey for 13/8/22 in southern Italy .The reservation email tells me that I must print it and take a paper copy .This is ok when I am still at home but what about the future journeys I will book when I’m en route and then won’t have access to a printer?
Hello i am travelling to Milan from Zagreb and i am worried that i can’t catch the train between stops part of the trip will be by bus to pass the border and check our ids. Does anyone know a way to have reinsured that my trip is not going to be delayed and i will make it on time? It’s my last one to use so i can’t my mistakes
Hello, I'm supposed to travel to italy this Monday but I'm still very confused about how the pass works.I don't get the difference between connecting a trip which contains several journeys to your pass and adding directly a journey to your pass. I understand that you don't have to plan all your journey to activate the pass, but then what does it mean to add "my trip" to the pass? Because in the tutorial it says you can only add one trip to your pass ans that once it is added, the trip activates your pass and the trip cannot be modified. As i'm still so confused... I haven't dare yet to add my pass to the mobile app
Hi everyone, I am trying to figure out how to connect the mobile app and the website. I bought my ticket from elsewhere, so I just directly enter my global pass details into the Rail Planner APP, and I can have access to my trip. However, there is no need (and nowhere) for me to write down my email address, so when I need to make reservation to a certain trip, there is no way for me to connect my global pass from Rail Planner APP to Eurail.com website.Any chance anyone encounter the same problem? Also, I am going to add trips and travelers for my wife, and I am afraid that it might be affected. Thank you all for helping!
Hi, I’m trying to book a night train from Brasov to Budapest on the 10/10/22 but it won’t let me proceed with payment no matter what time I choose to leave Brasov. I get to the last page but won’t light up. I also get that notification with some of my journeys saying “Please try to find an alternate connection.The unavailable leg will be removed fromyour cart” it doesn’t actually remove itself from my cart and when I try to remove it myself it won’t let me. so could someone please let me know how I can book my train. I’ve also tried on safari and chrome browsers
Yesterday I experienced troubles with a place reservation. I got a message on the website of interrail my payment wasn't successful so I retried. However later that evening I notified I did make 2 reservations for the same train and consequently paid 2 times. As the travel is already today I couldn't cancel the second reservation.After many troubles - it is a real challenge to contact interrail - I found a mailaddress and explained what happened. However I am very worried about getting a refund, and these reservations weren't cheap. Did the same problem happen to anybody else and did you get a refund?Thanks for sharing experiences.
