I was making some seat reservations for my trains but I cannot proceed to the payment. I selected all of my trains and times and then I filled in my personal information and checked the whole order. But then I cannot go further to the payment section, even though I selected the button that I accept the booking terms and conditions. So something is going wrong. Hopefully someone can help me with that because I really want to book them this weekend. I already tried to use a different browser, I used safari and chrome and the same problem occurred.Edit: I want to book:Bruxelles midi - Paris (Thalys) Paris - Barcelona (TGV) Barcelona - Nimes (Renfe) Nimes - Marseille (Intersites) Nice - Paris (TGV) Paris - Schiphol (Thalys)
I am a resident of the UK and have a UK passport. This should mean that I buy a Eurail, not an Interrail pass. The purchase is going fine until I come to the ‘Eurail Global Pass Adult traveler’ details. You have to submit a country of residence. But ‘United Kingdom’ is not available. Neither is ‘Great Britaiin’ or ‘GB’ or whatever we are calling ourselves today. What is going on? Am I missing something?
Since the eurail reservation has not been working for the past two days, I’m trying to book seat reservations through italiarail.com. There, I found a help article (https://www.italiarail.com/pages/italia-rail-reservations-and-supplements) with these instructions:Reservations can be made directly at a train station or by using the City to City search tool on our website. For seat reservation booking choose "I have a railpass".The trouble is, I don’t see that option anywhere when I try to book one. Does anyone know how to do so?
Hello guys, I recently booked the Global Pass to travel from Berlin to Barcelona but I have problems with reservations. On to the website it didn´t appear any train connection, which is not true because the Rail Planner shows many connections. After many attempts on the webseite it suddenly appears: SEAT RESERVATIONS UNAVAILABLE“You need to buy a seat reservation to board this train, but it seems this seat reservations isn't available on our website. Check 'More information' for other ways to book this seat reservation, or buy a separate ticket to board this train.PRICES TEMPORARILY UNAVAILABLE. There is no result from the bookingsystem. Check back in a few hours to see prices and book this seat reservation.” “More information” doesn´t help either. Does it mean that the train is overbooked? Can someone help me? Thanks in advance :)
Hi, i’m asking these question for the Interrail pass for my partner. The pass condition stated that “The Interrail Global Pass is valid for travel in your country of residence during one outbound journey and one inbound journey that occur during travel days at any point in your trip” This mean the pass will have 1 inbound & 1 outbound entitlement of the 4 days pass that i’m intending to buy? May i know if it is necessary to use the 1 inbound & 1 inbound ? As my travel itinerary would be Spain flying into London (21st) London to Germany (train 23th) Germany to Paris (train x2 27 & 28th) Paris to Spain (train 31th) So technically speaking i will be using only 1 inbound will that be alright ?
Hey everyone, I know there’s been a lot of discussion going on about the seat reservation between France and Spain but I still struggle to make my reservation. As I am currently in Germany and planning to travel to Lyon and one day later (2.12.) from Lyon to Valencia, I cannot book this trip as indicated at a local spanish station. I tried via app - says ticket would arrive too late and cannot be booked therefore, also tried to send it to my hostel in Lyon and it would still not work. Then I tried at a local european station counter - they say they cannot book it either. I tried to call SNFC but the call is not going through. Has anybody another idea?Did anyone ever let a spanish friend buy a reservation locally and thenreceived it by email?How good are the chances to book the ticket the moment I arrive in the evening of 1st of december for the next day?I really hope someone can help. Very confused… on this page: https://www.eurail.com/en/help/interested-in-eurailing/do-i-need-a-eurail-or-an-interrail-pass it says “A Eurail Pass can only be used by non-European citizens or non-European residents. European citizens can use an Interrail Pass instead, available from Interrail.eu for the same price as a Eurail Pass.”But on https://www.myinterrail.co.uk/interrail-passes/ - it’s all about Interrail passes for UK people? Hello,Going from Berlin to Amsterdam in June. A reservation is recommended, but not required. Is it a good idea to book a seat? If we do not reserve a seat, will we still be able to find a seat once we board the train? That is, does a ticket guarantee a seat, or do they sell more tickets than there are seats available?Thank you!
Hi there!! I’m Sanne and in 2019 I won a DiscoverEU Interrail pass. This year I am going to Sweden using the pass and my friend wanted to join me so he bought the same pass as I have. To get to Sweden we need to book some seat reservations. I added him to my trip after reading some community q&a’s. But now I still can’t book. I can book all the reservations for myself, but not for him or us both. It says they’re not available when I try to book them yet I can book them for myself alone. If anyone knows what to do, please let me know
I've been travelling quite a lot over the past few months, getting good value out of my 3-month continuous pass :)Finally I've now also caught up with the posts in the Interrail community, as some of you might have noticed. Additionally, I've been taking notes about things in the app that are not quite right or misleading and that's what this post is about. Some of the notes are already older, from a previous trip with a mobile flexi pass; I could not re-check all of them (I don't have a valid Interrail at this time) and they may have been fixed in the mean time.So here goes, in no particular order...The app said an internet connection is needed to activate a day on a flexi pass ("Add to pass" for the first journey of the day), although the phone had been online only half a day earlier. The mobile pass FAQ does not mention any other requirement than being online at least once every 3 days. If for certain actions an internet connection is needed, then please add that to the FAQ. I am not sure what I am doing wrong but hope someone can help. Looking to book From Amsterdam Centraal to London on 23 June 2022 with seat reservations on my pass. The morning trains (ideally 10:15) are showing no seat reservations available. However, on the Eurostar site it is showing availability on all trains. Can anyone help?
Hello! I would like to use my global pass in the beginning of August to travel from Brussels -> Paris -> Hendaye -> Lisbon by Sud Express (night train) with two friends. I did the same route two years ago and back then I booked my extra reservations in June. Now I am having trouble with booking that night train as there is no information available about schedules and prices...Anybody who has the same issues? Thanks in advance!
Hi!I'm planning a trip to Spain and Portugal with interrail in July/August. I saw as answer to another question that there are currently no trains between Lisbon and Madrid. Does anyone know why and how long that's gonna be (if it's still the case in July/August). That would be super helpful, thanks!Julia

I have a question about outbound/inbound journeys.Is it true, that when you purchase any interrail global continuous pass (It does not matter if 1 month or 3 months long), you have only ONE inbound and ONE outbound journey which you can use through the validity of the pass from your country of residence?Why I am asking: We are thinking about buying a global pass, but this rule does not make sense to me. Why can you purchase a 3-month-long pass when you can't travel from your country of residence to more trips? For example to one week-long trip every month? If you need to step across the border at your own cost, Interrail is almost for nothing, since the costs for crossing the borders are the biggest... One more: If the rule work like this, from where can you use interrail pass? From the last station of your country of the residence or from the first stop abroad?Thanks for any help! :))
Hi,I bought a global pass and did a reservation from Paris/FR > London/EN on the website Eurail on June 1st but I couldn't get the extension of my vacation to use it.That said, I need to get the refund or exchange of this seat reservation for another trip that I shall do at the end of the year.Is that possible?
Hello! This is my first post here as I will soon be in Istanbul and I’m wondering if anybody knows whether the night train from Halkali station is running to Sofia Bulgaria. The Interrail/Eurail website seems to imply that it does however I cannot find a schedule and I read a bloggers page that said it wasn’t running due to Covid (but the page hadn’t been updated in awhile). Hello, I’m trying to reserve seats on the Barcelona-Sants to Paris leg of my Madrid-Paris trip (I know for the first leg I have to reserve seats in person at a Spanish station). On the Eurail website I try to use the reservation service, but it says the departure date is too close for the paper reservation tickets to be delivered to me at my home. It also says it’s too close to departure for the tickets to be delivered to my hotel in Madrid. Unfortunately, I am not yet in Madrid to reserve the tickets in person, nor will I arrive until the night before departure. What options are available other than testing my luck at 5pm at the Madrid train station before a 10am departure the next day? It makes me nervous since the website says TGV limits eurail pass holders per train. I want to make sure we’re able to get to our destination. Any advice?
Hi Community,due to the pandemic, trains between Norway and Sweden are not operating, at least not on the days I need. Instead, the VY company offers busses between Oslo and Goteborg respectively Karlstad. Is the Interrail pass valid for these busses? The answer is relevant for me, since this decides how much travel days I need. I am grateful for every answer!
I am trying to book seat reservations trains in France. I need pass cover numbers for myself and my husband to do this. How do I get a pass cover number for a digital Eurailpass? The trains are TGV 6074 Nice Ville to Marseilles St Charles and IC 4764 Marseilles St Charles to Toulouse Matabiau on May 6th.
So I want to get from Tallinn to Riga, and I read that first one has to take a train from Tallinn to Valga at the Estonian border and then a train from Valga to Riga. However none of these train stations show up in the rail planner app. I have the Interrail mobile pass so I need to add eagh journey to my ticket in the app, right?
I bought the global Eurail pass. It’s the Mobile version. I knew some trains required reservations (didn’t realize nearly all do). I’m uncertain how to book these and don’t want to pay more than I need to. I can see my pass and I have “my journey” saved. There’s a button on the top right of each leg I can click to turn on. I’m not sure what exactly this is though as it doesn’t buy a ticket or reserve a seat, so what’s the purpose? I also am seeing different times/routes on different sights. For example, I saw a London to Amsterdam on May 2nd at 11am on one site, but can’t find it on the Eurail App. I’m not sure if there’s different trains or what? I also notice there is 1st comfort and 1st class premium? I also see some tickets they mail to you?? If seats are selling out, I’d like to buy them in advance (do have 1 overnight train). However, I was also hoping to be as flexible as possible. For example, if I wanted to leave somewhere a day or two early to explore somewhere
Hallo,ich wollte eine Reservierung für den Frecciarossa von Rom nach Florenz vornehmen. Leider wird mir für sämtlche Verbindungen “nicht verfügbar” angezeigt. Auf der Seite von Trenitalia sehe ich, dass sehr wohl noch Plätze frei sind, allerdings kann ich ja hier nicht den Interrail Global Pass als Rabatt eingeben und nur die Reservierung buchen. Warum geht das über die Interrail-Seite nicht, was mache ich falsch?
