I have ordered and installed for 4 persons a 2 month first class Interrail (order IN30577752) . I understand that these 2 months start with the first trip you actually book and take,Once i had installed railplanner I checked if I could take a trip from Paris TGV any time after June 20 , but could not find any seats that could be reserved through the Interrail site for any of the days desired. So I did not book but had to buy a separate new ticket for that trip for a trip on June 30.So I plan to use my Global Card when I book for the first time a trip, and will use it for the first time for a trip from Geneva, Switzerland on Juy 23.But in MY PASS the validity is now shown as valid from June 20 -19 August, although I did not book any train until now . Will that be automatically updated to July 23- September 22 when I book and confirm the first trip for July 23 ? If not, I believe that the instructions given by Interrail is misleding, indacting taht you can decide anytime when you
I already bought Eurail Global Pass and booked seat reservation.However, from July 1st, the Eurail Global Pass has 15% discounted price. I would like to cancel the ticket I bought in original price, and buy another discounted ticket.the question is the seat reservation listed with the ticket number, if I canceled the original price ticket, is the seat reservation still usable?
Dear sir/ms. I hope you can help me. Yesterday we tried to make a reservation for a train in Spain, since this is needed. The lady at the desk refused however to make a reservation before we added the travel day in the app, even though the day we wanted to travel on was a few days ahead. Because of bad internet we could not turn on the travel day and she even refused to check if there would be trains available for this date. Is is necessary to turn on your travel day when making a reservation? I understand that is is obligatory when entering the train, but I believe it is not when making a reservation, or am I wrong?
Hi Everyone,I’m a student geography in my third bachelors from Belgium. In the month of may 2023 our university will go on a field trip to Almeria. We normally fly but my fellow-students and I would love to go by train because this is more climate-friendly. I was looking into using the global pass (4 days in a month) to go there but the extra seat-reservations in France make in very expensive (€185 + €80 go + €80 return = €335). Being a student doesn’t pay very well so we are looking for cheaper alternatives to go from Brussels to the south of Spain. Do you guys have any tips for alternative routes which avoid these seat-reservations? Or which are cheaper in general? Thanks in Advance!
I find the itinerary I want and there are no seat resv. required, but there is nothing to click on to book the trains I want. It just says view cart at the end, but since no $ because I have the global pass the view cart is not lit up to click. So how do I book this ?
When I proceed to payment for booking a reservation from mulhouse ville to Paris the process stops just before proceeding to payment. SNCF when reached by telephone can’t accept my credit card payment because they say is a foreign credit card. How can I proceed?
Hi community! I have an Interrail pass and was making a seat reservation for a TGV, when the app forwarded me to the Eurail website instead. So now I have an activated Interrail pass + a Eurail seat reservation.Can I just show my Interrail pass on the day? Or will there be a trouble because of the mismatch?Would be grateful for your experiences:)
Hello, I am Spanish student and I have been awarned with the Interrail scholarship, where it says to me that I have 7 days within 1 month, which I believe I can only use trains 7 days, but in the e-mail says “You can travel for a period of minimum 1 day and up to 30 days between the 1 March 2023 - 29 February 2024”, so I´m a bit confussed.If anyone can help me I will be very pleased .)
Hello,we are traveling as a group with both digital passes activated on my phone. However we need to split before our last travel day. Is there a way to print the the pass for the other party? Or any other solution? I read it is not possible to split once the passes are activated on one device. This is really annoying, as my friend does not use smartphones and I mistakenly bought 2 digital passes without knowing the evil consequences ;)Thanks
Hallo allemaal, Aankomende vrijdag wil ik met de trein van Den Bosch naar Berlin hbf reizen. De planner geeft aan dat de prijzen voor de trein tussen Hannover hbf en Berlin hbf niet beschikbaar zijn. Er staat: ‘als er geen zitplaatsen voor Pashouders meer beschikbaar zijn, moet je een apart ticket voor het volle tarief kopen om mee te mogen reizen’. Echter staat daarboven in het groen weergegeven: ‘je bent klaar om in te stappen’.Mijn vraag is of ik alsnog met deze trein mee kan reizen, zonder zitplaatsreservering? Of dat ik een andere trein moet nemen?
I have already saved an outbound journey on my Trips and I can see the ticket on the section “My pass”. When trying to save a second journey (not outbound nor inbound), I can see it on My Trips but not on My pass. How can I retrieve the ticket ?
Hi, I am sorry if this was asked before but I don't find the answer. I am in Germany and I want to take tomorrow the train from Hamburg to Copenhague but in the information post of Berlin Hbf said to me that I need compulsory reservation when interrail web and app told me that it isn't. I would like to know if I can sit on the floor with this pass but no reservations in this train and Denmark, Sweden and Norway ones. Hello Im trying to book our train out from London to Brussels on the 21st July it appears there are no seat reservations available on this journey for the whole day Does anyone know how I can get around this as there seems to be tickets available to buy on the eurostar for that day?
