AIRPLANE MODE ON,THEN OFF --If your Saved Journey on your Eurail app doesn't move to the My Pass

I would like to thank the person who wrote somewhere on this site, about what to do if your saved journey in “My Trips” on your Eurail app doesn’t move to the “My Pass,” when tapped. I was a NEW user of digital Eurail Global Flexi Pass in October 2024 (a few weeks ago) and panicked that my very first journey would not transfer to the Pass, when I initiated the Pass. I thought it was lack of internet/wifi.  After frantically running upstairs to the main train station, I discovered that didn’t work, either!  Then I remembered a “passing comment” that someone wrote on this site about what to try if this situation occurs. That person said to “PUT YOUR PHONE IN AIRPLANE MODE AND THEN TURN IT OFF AGAIN.”  BINGO!  That worked!  I only had to do this one time on the 18 trains that I ended up taking.  I wish I could remember the person who gave me this tip, so I could give him/her recognition; since I can’t, I figure the best I can do is to help someone else with this tip.Also, I suggest leavin

Tirano to budapest in 2 days travel - venice and vienna HELP!

Hello everyone, I have been given a Eurail pass for my birthday (47!) by my wife to get away from the UK for a week.  I have decided to travel through Germany for a bit of memory lane, Beginning in Cologne (flight really cheap from UK) and making my way from there to Mainz; Munich; Chur - Tirano - I really want to go on the Bernine express route - then fancy trying to fit in Venice and need to end up in Budapest on my fifth day travelling on a 5 day in one month global pass.  I have some questions I would love some advice on: Is the regional train from Chur to Tirano the same line  as the Bernine express but just not posh with big windows?  Tirano to Venice is a long old train but i really wanted to fit Venice in, however I need to be in Budapest for the end of the trip and beyond Tirano had no plans looking for good advice for 2-3 days travel between the two? I was considering the Venice to Vienna overnight train then out of ideas?  is Trieste an option to visit and get me on my way t

How is it possible to go with the train from Zweisimmen to Montbovon without reservation fees? When I look in the railplanner app e. g. for November 6th, I only get trains with “variable fees”.I always thought that it would only cost for the panoramic car...

Bruxelles to Amsterdam Centraal - 12 April 2025 - help please

HelloHave been able to book Eurostar from London to Bruxelles on 12 April 2025 but Bruxelles-Midi to Amsterdam Centraal is showing nothing for this date.Does that mean the all passholder fares are already sold for that date?Friday 11th or Monday 14th April 2025 are showing as being available.If I can’t book Eurostar & Eurail has nothing for the 12th April (“Sorry, we don’t have train times for those dates yet -”) & Rail Europe is saying “ Unfortunately we can't currently sell tickets for this journey, but the timetable below should give you an idea of trains that are running.” … but they can sell tickets for a week earlier & a week later I’m at a loss as to what I can do (changing dates is NOT an option)Advice on options/alternatives would be greatly appreciated

luggage storage at Interlaken Ost and Geneva

Hi! Is it hard to find luggage lockers at Geneva train station and Interlaken OST station? I am hearing that they get full and hard to find empty ones. We will be there the first week of August and will have 4 small carryon size pieces to store for the day. Also do they accept credit card or we need to have CHF exact change? Do they take euros?

which train i have to choose, im lost with a lot of info

Considering a Eurail Global Pass for our Europe trip starting in Munich, with stops in Interlaken, Paris, and London! I'll be coordinating travel for the whole family—my husband, daughters, and grandma. Has anyone used the pass for these destinations? Any tips or advice on getting the most out of it? Thanks for any help! we will travel in 2025 from June 17 Munich to Interlaken- June 19 Interlaken- Paris and June 23 to London

What is a Eurail/ Interrail Pass?The Eurail and Interrail Pass is a single train pass that lets you travel as much as you want on participating European train networks for a set amount of travel days. There are different validities you can choose from, ranging from just 4 travel days up to a maximum of 3 months. You can travel with a Eurail Global Pass / Interrail Global Pass, which is valid in 33 European countries, or pick one of the Eurail One Country Passes / Interrail One Country Passes. The majority of our Passes, including the Eurail Global Pass, are now also available as a mobile Pass.  Eurail Passes can only be used by non-European citizens or non-European residents. European citizens can use an Interrail Pass instead. Do I need a Eurail or Interrail Pass? A Eurail Pass can only be used by non-European citizens or non-European residents. Reservation of shared compartments on Milan-Naples sleeper train

Dear Eurail Community,We are two adults and two kids planning our trip from Switzerland to Italy. We intend to use trains with the Eurail 7-day 1st class pass that we purchased during the last sale. One option we are considering is taking the sleeper train from Milan to Naples and booking one compartment. I checked the rail planner for our intended travel day, November 11th, and saw that the compartment costs €43, which I assume is for one person. However, when I attempted to make a reservation, I on’t see any option to reserve seets in compartment or may the code CC-PROMISCUO is for compartment? Cost view it seems to be alighned with rail planner results.

Booking NightJet sleeper march 25

Hey all,I'm trying to book 3 tickets for me and 2 friends for the Nightjet sleeper Amsterdam-Innsbruck for March 8th (arriving March 9th) in 2025.Some weeks ago, all trains after 15 dec ‘24 became available for booking, except the NightJet leaving on the 7th and 8th. Weirdly enough, the last portion of the train ride (from Munich onwards) is bookable. But that’s useless… Does any of you know what is going on or when they might become available for booking?

Help with Travel Days for Erasmus Interrail Pass (Trondheim to Munich)

Hey everyone!I'm currently studying abroad in Norway and am planning an Interrail trip back to Germany with a friend after our exams. Here's our planned route:Trondheim to Oslo – We’ll stay in Oslo for a couple of days. Oslo to Stockholm - We’ll stay over Christmas Stockholm to Copenhagen - Staying for one or two days Copenhagen to Munich – We’ll change trains in Hamburg on the way.We’ve read on the Erasmus Interrail website that the pass includes one outbound journey from your home country and one return journey back to your home country without counting these as travel days. Does this mean our leg from Hamburg to Munich would also be covered as part of our inbound journey to Germany, even though we need to change trains in Hamburg?We’re considering buying the 4-day Interrail pass, as we technically only have 4 main travel days. However, we’re unsure if the Hamburg-to-Munich portion could require an additional travel day on the pass.Also, we’re unsure about the differences between the

Change timetable OBB - Change tickets

Hello. I need your help to understand a situation, as I cannot contact the OBB support line.I bought tickets for December 5th for the train RJX267 Vienna-Budapest, which had a departure time of 7.40am. However, I noticed that the time had changed to departure at 6.40am.I already realized that the tickets remain valid for this train, or I can change them for free to the EC463 train.How can I make this exchange?Is it possible online or does it have to be through the OBB helpline?Thanks

Updating the planner for December 16th and beyond

I was wondering when the planner will be updated for Monday 16th December and beyond.  Certainly from my own researching, schedules for Britain, France, Italy, Germany and Switzerland are all available.  (I am sure the same is true for many more countries as well but I haven’t investigated these.)It’s not a big deal for me.  Using national train websites I know which trains I will be taking over the Christmas period, and I have booked up all the required seat reservations that I require through Rail Europe.  It just would be nice to get things put into “My Trip”Peter
