US Traveler - Paris > Barcelona

I’m a US citizen (with 3 family members), trying to travel by high-speed train between Paris Gare de Lyon and Barcelona Sants on Apr 3 2023. We are only taking ONE trip during our stay and I cannot figure out exactly what we need to purchase to make this reservation. Do I need a Eurail Global Pass AND a Paris > Barca reservation? It seems like Global Passes are best if I’m traveling a lot over the course of a month or year. What do I need to buy and in what order?

Two journeys in one day?

Is it possible to activate two journeys in one day?We are traveling in England and plan a long trip to London on the last day. There we want to take the Eurostar and use the Global Pass for the return trip home. Time is a bit short and, if we miss the last Eurostar, we don't want to lose the return trip to the home country.Therefore, the idea, we take a journey to London on one day and, if we get the Eurostar, then activate on the same day the journey to Germany.Does anyone have experience with this?

Does my last destination have to be my next starting point?

Hi Guys,for context, im talking about an interrail ticket with time limitation here, so like the any train for 1 month ticket.So lets say i took a train from Amsterdam to Paris, do i have to board my next train in Paris, or if not Paris, france? Or could i, for example, meet some friends in Paris, travel with them to Madrid in one of their cars, and then board a train from Madrid like a week later?

Disculpen las molestias, pero quisiera saber si hay algún mes entre marzo y sep. en que las ofertas y promociones de Eurail sean mejores (por ejemplo, mayores descuentos que el 15% por temporada de primavera) que convenga esperar para comprar el paquete de 15 días en 2 meses!Muy agradecido! muchas gracias!! Bonjour, J’ai commandé un pass interrail et je ne comprends pas pourquoi je ne peux pas déjà réserver mes billets de train. Je comptais partir début juillet mais les billets ne sont pas encore réservable. De plus je souhaite faire un trajet Paris-Prague en interail et on nous indique un message d’erreur pour l’un des trains que nous devrions prendre. Cela veut-il dire que ce train ne sera pas possible d’être réservé même plus tard ? Car j’ai mis le même trajet pour une date ou les billet sont déjà censé pouvoir être réservé, mais le même message apparait. Merci.

Stopover in a night train after midnight

We got the 5 days train pass, but there are some that are overnight. If a train leaves before 00:00 but has a stopover after 00:00 which we’ll have to switch trains, does that count as two days of travelling or just one? Thank you

Just activated my Benelux pass. I want to use it to travel from Amsterdam to Berlin. Part of the trip is covered by my pass. If I schedule my trip in the application, will the cost difference on the travel from the Netherlands border to Berlin be shown with an option to pay the difference, or cancel the trip?

Interrail or Eurail for UK citizens/residents

I married a Romanian woman two years ago, and we live in Edinburgh. Unlike the English, Scotland voted against Brexit. Now we would like to visit several cities in the EU and are uncertain about the rules. As a Romanian national, my wife is free to travel using Interrail. I am not. It seems I have to use EU rail.My questions are: Can we take the same train together, given that we are a couple resident in the UK.? Or do the rules require we both travel by the non-EU members’ mode of travel, using Eurail? We would appreciate any advice we can get to clarify our situation.I am 67 years old.
