I have had to enter a lot of my trips manually into the app, can I use the manual entry when boarding a trip or does it need to be canceled & entered again.

Inbound to italy

Hi, I already used my 10 day travel of my pass but i need to get back home. But won’t be a problem bc i’ts a day time train and I’m coming back to my country of residence with the inbound trip. Is this correct? or i messed up? thanks for help, sorry if it’s a stupid question but it's my first interrail

Help with Travel Days for Erasmus Interrail Pass (Trondheim to Munich)

Hey everyone!I'm currently studying abroad in Norway and am planning an Interrail trip back to Germany with a friend after our exams. Here's our planned route:Trondheim to Oslo – We’ll stay in Oslo for a couple of days. Oslo to Stockholm - We’ll stay over Christmas Stockholm to Copenhagen - Staying for one or two days Copenhagen to Munich – We’ll change trains in Hamburg on the way.We’ve read on the Erasmus Interrail website that the pass includes one outbound journey from your home country and one return journey back to your home country without counting these as travel days. Does this mean our leg from Hamburg to Munich would also be covered as part of our inbound journey to Germany, even though we need to change trains in Hamburg?We’re considering buying the 4-day Interrail pass, as we technically only have 4 main travel days. However, we’re unsure if the Hamburg-to-Munich portion could require an additional travel day on the pass.Also, we’re unsure about the differences between the

Updating the planner for December 16th and beyond

I was wondering when the planner will be updated for Monday 16th December and beyond.  Certainly from my own researching, schedules for Britain, France, Italy, Germany and Switzerland are all available.  (I am sure the same is true for many more countries as well but I haven’t investigated these.)It’s not a big deal for me.  Using national train websites I know which trains I will be taking over the Christmas period, and I have booked up all the required seat reservations that I require through Rail Europe.  It just would be nice to get things put into “My Trip”Peter

Display language on Pass confirmation

I purchased an  Eurail Pass on Eurail official website and chosen English as the display language as always.However, the confirmation email sent to me is in Chinese. I logged into my account tried to generate a new one. All the same -  both the Payment confirmation and the Pass confirmation email are issued in Chinese? I tried to on different divides - nothing helps.Does anyone there know how can I change them into English?Thank you!

Global Pass activation and tickets

HiOkay going on a Chocolate/Cheese/Christmas Market adventure - weather may not be perfect but that’s what we’ve got available so this is when we are going. Switzerland and Germany 22/11-12/12.Have a  22 day 1st Eurail Global Pass that we are using to visit Just wondering about the tickets - Have added the pass to the App but not activated it until the day we leave. What are the refund charges for a Eurail Promo Global Pass Senior, 22 days Continous, 1st class (€670 -25%    = €503) if cancelled after the promption date of October 22 2024. Will the charge be 25€ if I purchased this pass at a promotional price of €503 today, October 19, 2024?

From Italy to Spain

Hello, my name is Marco and I am new in the community. The question is about travelling to Spain from Italy. I don’t have a lot of time and I would like to visiti in three weeks just Spain and Portugal, and I noticed that the trains to go there are more expensive than a plane (around 20/30 euro). Do you think it would make sense to travel with the plane to spare money and time, and then activate the pass once I’ll be there? thank you

cant add journey to my pass because seat reservation is required

I have my rail pass and I purchased seat reservations and the supplement is included.  To use the pass I am trying to add my journey to the pass on the app.  The journey says seat reservation and supplement required and does not add. The toggle in my trip is grayed out. Can I just select use travel day and board with my seat assignment ticket that I printed?

Hi, we have an unlimited 1 month pass. When we book seats we get a QR code. When do plan a trip and try to generate a code nothing happens. Some inspectors are fine saying the pass is the ticket. Others want to scan a code. Do we need to have a code for every journey? If we do why isn’t one being generated?  Thanks

Advantage to trains with seat reservations?

Hello,4 of us will be doing a 3 week trip in Europe next May and using the trains to get around.  On a direct route I see some trains need seat reservations and some do not, while the travel time is the same.  Is there an advantage to the trains that have seat reservations vs the ones that do not?  One example I looked at the seat reservations were about $65 each. I attached a picture as an example.  We will be getting a 1st class global ticket.  Thanks!!!

Le petit train jaune / The little yellow train from France to Barcelona

I am keen to start my journey this year from France into Spain on this special sounding train across the Pyrenees, but I am very confused by its itinerary. The Man in Seat 61 speaks of the possibility of boarding in Perpignan but SNCF just barges in and takes over when I try to check that on their site, and only shows TGVs to Barcelona! The other departure point is Toulouse, which is less problematic.What I need please is details of these two routes to Barcelona with the pricing structure, making it possible to do the journey with minimum cost. Also. can I go to one of the above main stations and simply buy a ticket? If it is as inexpensive as it looks, I won’t need to use a precious travel day getting to Barcelona.Thank you! Brian (87, still going strong...)

Railjet reservation ÖBB

I try to make a reservation for the Railjet service (15.54) from Buchs to Innsbruck on the 31th of october. I tried it a for the last few days, I tried to do this via different websites, but the oebbtickets.at is clear: “currently not reservable”.It seems to be there is construction work upcoming or some timetable information is missing. I can't find info for construction work and the train is not missing in the rail planners.Is there a way to find out if this train is running on this day? Otherwise I have to chacnge some plans. Thank you for your help!
