Good afternoon Eurrail hive mind. We have now booked our First Class Eurail passes (BEFORE the 15% sale, boo!) and we have the following itinerary in mind. The route doubles back a bit unfortunately but this is because my friend in Munich is only available on certain times. Our start and end point is Schiphol on 24 June and 16 July. I would appreciate answers to two questions:Which of these trips do I need to reserve? Where would be a good place to stop on the longer trips?Our itinerary is as follows:Thurs 25 June:  overnight sleeper AMS-ZUR (=4 x couchettes already reserved and paid for) Monday 29 June:  Zurich-Modena:  does this need a reservation? And which is the best route? Friday 03 July:  Modena-Munich:  does this need a reservation? Tuesday 07 July:  Munich-Nuremberg (I assume this is a direct train and no reservations are needed given the amount of trains available). Thursday 09 July:

My wife and I are inexperienced rail travelers and will be taking the train from Nice to Zurich on April 24.  Two portions of the trip (Nice Ville to Ventimiglia & Milano Centrale to Lugano) show Open Seating.  Do we just show up that day with our Global Pass to access these portions of the trip?  We have tickets for the other parts of the trip.  

Hi, we are trying to plan to travel to Paris from Scotland as it is a long way we would like to stop in Milton Keynes for a day to break up the journey.That would mess up our outbound journey, is there a way round it as travel by train is very expensive in the UK.

I do have a FIRST CLASS PASS, do i need to book a seat resertivation for PANORAMIC CAR INNSBRUCK? (Its said : seat resertivation optional)

Hello again everyone!Follow up question - Eurail Global Pass I was trying to book seat reservation from Milan to Lucerne. I followed the steps that "themaninseat61" provided using the Rail Europe site but I'm still being charged the Full seat price and I'm not getting an option to purchase. I also tried the Trenitalia and ÖBB sites and the same thing, I'm being charged for the Full ticket seat price. What am I doing wrong?

Hello, my wife and I are flying into Munich and are catching a train to Slovenia the next day, mid-morning. Should we stay by airport to catch train in airport or is there a better train station away from airport with hotels nearby. Thanks. were in our upper sixties, and I have not used the train system since 1982.

The easiest way seems through Paris est - Stuttgart.As I am aware of the DB train delays, I checked the punctuality of the train I’d like to takehttps://www.zugfinder.net/en/train-ICE_9573Regardless of the delays, 2 of the last 3 days are tagged “destination not reached”. Is there a way to have more information (“one-time” problem or repeating risk, where the train stopped, what was the advice to end the journey) ?Better, is there a more reliable route Rennes - Munich ?Thanks for any information and advice.

Can I download/active a single pass to two separate phones?

Hello! We are looking to purchase the interrail plus pass (beta) which include most seat reservation costs. That is 29/3 and we want to travel in August however it says the pass will need to be activated within 3 months of purchase. Does this mean we need to book the seats and travel in August within 3 months or does it mean we need to travel within 3 months.  AlsoHas anyone used the plus pass with seat reservation costs covered and is it worth it? Thanks! ☺️

Hi everyone! I’m trying to book couchettes for 4 people on the overnight train Paris-Cerbere but when I try to book with interrail. There’s two option both at 88 euros and they don’t specify which one is the seated option and which one is the couchette option. Could you help me please? Thanks xxx

I have tried to book seat reservations on ACP Rail.  Every time I try to pay it gets refused.  Even if my card provider has confirmed and approved payment.  Totally mystified

Hello. I am trying to plan travel from Euston London to Liverpool Lime Street. The EURail trip planner was unable to reserve my seats for me, so I am trying to do it myself. The ACP website says that “this product is not available in your region” when I try to reserve the trip from London Euston to Liverpool Lime Street. Should I try to find another way there, another way to get the seat reservation, or should I simply try to board when I actually am at the train? My trip is planned for May, and I am worried that the train will be full, and that I will be unable to board. Any thoughts? Thank you for your help.

Braunschweig 05:57 - Basel 11:48 / 12:30 - Milano C 16:50 / 18:05 - La Spezia 21:21 (Tag 1 / outbound)10.04. La Spezia 13:06 - Parma 1514 / 15:27 - Modena 15:56 ( Tag 2)12.04. Bologna 22:54 - (Salzburg 06:58) (Tag 3)13.04. (Salzburg 07:01) - München 09:29 / 11:12 - Göttingen 14:45 / 15:06 - Braunschweig 15:59 (Tag 4 / inbound)Nun hat die DB netterweise im Februar bekannt gegeben, dass die Tageszüge zwischen Karlsruhe und Basel nicht nutzbar sind (SEV mit 2 Stunden längerer Fahrzeit oder mit 3 weiteren Umstiegen über Strasbourg - Mulhouse nach Basel), sodass eine Fahrt an einem Tag unmöglich wurde. Ich habe daraufhin den NJ von Hannover nach Zürich gebucht, und von dort nach Mailand (Abfahrt Hannover 00:30, also immer noch Tag 1 / outbound)Und gestern - 9 Tage vor Reisedatum - bekomme ich von den ÖBB eine knappe Emai

Hello. I plan to travel from Amsterdam to Spain and it's approximately 23h. In this case, if the day I leave Amsterdam is my last day of pass, would you let me do the transfers the next day to my final destination or do I need two days of pass? Keeping in mind that on the day of departure I would activate and reserve mandatory seats and use the planned route.

Hi,I created several trips on my PC browser. One of the trips I used for purchasing reservations, let’s call it “trip 3”.But when I go to “plan your trip” in my browser, trip 1 opens. I can’t find a way to open and change any of the other trips. When I go to my profile, I find a list of my planned trips, but trip 1 is missing, and I can’t find a way to open or edit trip 2 or 3, I can only edit certain things like fellow travellers or the name of the trip.can somone help me to get that sorted out? thanks

I am trying to connect a trip to my passWhen doing so I am exclusivley linked to my last trip (under my trips), which is still shown as active (I could not complete the trip as planned because my train through trasbourg was cancelled and I had to go through Paris insteadI presume that the still active trip is the cause of my problem. When I want to delete the active trip under my trips I get the message “can not cancel an active trip (kann nicht storniert werden)”What can I do
