Hi everyone,so I’m planning to travel from Zurich to Innsbruck and Vienna in one day/same day. Can I do that with my one travel day? or should I activated the travel days I have for each City or Country that I wanted to visit even tho I travelled in a same day? and I also have a plan travelling from Zurich to Titlis. can I use the interrail ticket? or should I buy a normal ticket instead?btw I’m going to use Global passthank you in advanced

I would be very grateful for anybody checking, if there are reservations available for the Eurostar on the 19th April to London (starting from Paris or Brussels) an back on the 30th of April.Thank you!

I will be traveling from Switzerland to Italy on a EuroCity train soon. I read somewhere that in Italy you need printed tickets for cross border journeys. I have a mobile Eurail pass. Since I have a mobile pass and have printed my seat reservations, will this be ok? Or do I need to print and validate something else?

Hi, I bought a 4 day Eurail pass and am trying to book my first train ticket. When I go to book on the Eurail mobile app it is not giving me the same options as the SBB site. I am wanting to book from the Zurich airport April 26 at 12:15 to Schaan Bahnhof. On the SBB site it has a 12:15-14:11 option that does not show on the Eurail mobile app. How can I book that ticket?

My friend and his two teenage children are traveling from Paris Gare de Lyon to Verona Porta Nuova, Italy on 22 June 2023. They purchased the Trenitalia 3-Day Pass, and need seat reservations for this journey.This site is the only one I've found that has seat reservations for sale, but it's asking for the their Interrail Pass number. They don't have one because they have Trenitalia Pass.What do they do? Dose the Trenitalia Pass number work on this site? Thank you!

I am flying into Zurich Switzerland. From there I am taking a train to Liechtenstein for a day, then to Lauterbrunnen and onto Murren where I will be for 4 days, back to Zurich, then Bruges, Brussels and Amsterdam. I am trying to decide if a 7 day Eurail pass would be best or a Swiss Half price pass and then point to point tickets for the rest of the train rides. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi All, thanks for the super answers you are providing! At the end of May, my wife and I will take the train from Lugano to Strasbourg (via Basel). It’ll be a weekeday and we’re flexible but prefer late morning. In your opinion, do we need a reservation? Our Eurail pass is first class. I’ve heard from some in the community that you don’t need a res in Switzerland. OBB is selling an 11:00am reservation for about 10 Euros per person. Necessary? Thanks!

This is the route I’m planning tomorrow: Florence- Bologna, Bologna-Florence, Florence-Pisa. This will all be in 1 day. I’m sure it is, but wanted to double check, this is ok to do on the interrail pass?  I know I could skip returning back to Florence but it works out quicker and I will be in pisa at an earlier time. 

When looking at a route form Florence SMN to Bologna there are two options for Bologna train station (Bologna city and Bologna centrale). Are these the same or different because when I put in the exact same route, the arrivals time at Bologna city is 25 ish minutes before Bologna centrale. If I want to be in the city centre, is Bologna central the correct station to arrive at?

Bonjour, nous souhaitons voyager en Autriche et en Slovénie en août 2023. Je n'arrive pas à réserver un compartiment couchette dans le train de nuit direct qui part de Paris le vendredi soir pour arriver à Vienne le lendemain matin. J'ai le même problème pour revenir (Vienne à Paris) fin août. Est-ce que ces trains ne sont pas encore ouvert à la réservation ? Ou est ce que nous devons trouver un autre train pour se rendre à Vienne ? Merci d'avance pour votre aide !Laure.

Hello,What is the recommended website (or alternative method?) to make reservations for train journeys within Italy?Would it be cheaper to do seat reservation at Italian train stations instead of pre-reserving online? Do they have Eurail quotas, so do we face the risk of not being able to reserve seats if we go to the station on the day?Travel period: Late June to mid JulyThe sectors we are going on the train within Italy are:Milan to Venice,Venice to Rome,Rome to Pompei,Naples to FlorenceDo the fast train between these cities always require seat reservations?

Hi There  Looking at a trip down to Florence (and back) from London taking in a few cities along the way mainly using Hotels and Airbnb. Route across France to Italy and back up though Switzerland and Belgium. Probably buying a month pass for each of us with 6-8 stops. Understand the principles of the card I think but confused by the actual booking of the trains. Every route I've looked at so far has said extra payment has to be made and just wondering what I'm buying the pass for 😕 Was I just unlucky or is that a fairly typical experience. Ideally I'd like to have all the trains booked up before we set off. Is that possible?  If anyone has done this sort of thing before and can give advice I'd be very grateful.  Thanks  Steve

I’m trying to travel through eastern Europe and have had trouble getting into and around Greece with interrail. There are no trains on the schedule from or to anywhere in Greece. Is this an error or is Greece no longer part of the interrail pass? Latvia also has the same problem which caused me to change my trip as I couldn’t get from Lithuania to Estonia.

Our Eurostar train has been cancelled for Tuesday 28th March.  We can't reschedule for that day online as their website is down and as it's the weekend, the Customer Helpline is closed. We have reservations. Can we deactivate this journey in our planner and rebook another train on that day via rail planner without loosing our reservation money (appreciate that we may have to have other seats).  We are desperate as we already have accomodation booked in Paris (non-refundable)

Hello train travelers,I wanted to make seat reservations for the direct train from Brussels Midi to Lyon Part Dieu on June 16 at 1-ish. However, I was told that this is not possible when I phoned the railway company.What is the best alternative? The railway app suggests traveling via Paris, but that connection doesn’t seem so good. Are there better routes?Thanks

Help! I bought a 1 month global family pass when my daughter was 11. We are travelling today! Sat on the train ready to depart. My daughter has had her 12th birthday and I can now not activate her pass. I am willing to pay to change to a youth ticket but can’t get a response from Eurrail!!! Has this happened to anyone before and did you get it resolved? 

On my route from Pisa to Milan, I’m planning on stopping off for a few hours in either Bologna and Verona or just going to Genova. Then, on my way to Salzburg from Milan, I either want to stop in Verona (providing I haven’t already done this) or Chiasso. I’ll only be in these places for 3 hrs max each so was wondering which ones are worth visiting. 

Hello!I am new to this forum and new to the European Rail System. I will be traveling with my husband and son to Europe in June for a month. I will have plenty of questions to come, but my first is this.  We have purchased Global Passes 1st class.  We arrive in Paris at 6:10am and need to go straight to Basel the same day.  When I look on the Rail Planner app, I cannot seem to find a train departing from Charles de Gaulle 2 - TGV, which as far as I can tell is where we need to leave from. Can anyone advise me if there is a train that will take us from the airport to Basel?Thanks so much for any help!Meghan
