Hello,I purchased an Interrail pass a few weeks ago to travel to Italy. However, I am realizing that there are a lot of additional costs. For example, we planned to travel from Brussels to Ljubljana to stay there for two days, then Ljubljana-Florence, Florence-Rome, Rome-Naples, and Naples-Amalfi.From Brussels to Ljubljana and from Ljubljana to Florence, we are offered night trains that must be booked directly through the ÖBB company. In this case, we are paying a "regular" price, and it seems there is no advantage to using the Interrail pass, if I understand correctly.Additionally, for every single journey within Italy, we are required to reserve a seat, which costs around 15 euros per person each time (whereas buses are much cheaper than train reservations via the Interrail app, around 5 euros per person). After doing the math, using the pass ultimately costs me an extra 137 euros.I wanted to check if I misunderstood something. Are my journeys actually more expensive with the Interrai
Hello guys, I have a 4 days travelling pass for one month. I am going to Netherland, Sweden and Germany from Bordeaux (France). For one day travel I have up to 4 trains to take (for exemple one train to go from Bordeaux (France) to Lilles (France) and then one train from Lilles to Brussels, then Brussels Rotterdam and Rotterdam Utrecht). Once I want to activate each train I have a message saying that I am using one travel day. My question is if I activate one train for my first day of travelling can I activate my other 3 trains (the same date) without using all my travelling days ? I am really confuse by this so if someone can help me that would be great ! Thanks a lot cheers :))

Hi - has anyone encountered the App adding +1 Day. I am booking a short journey between Paris and Bussells that leaves on a Sunday at 9.55am but the App keeps adding it to my journey as a Saturday departure instead. Not sure how this will impact activation. The EURail website has the correct details and I have reserved a seat and received confirmation so am confident in the journey but the App will activate an incorrect travel day. Thanks for any help.
lost my in box! How can I recover my pass order confirmation?
I’m trying to book seats for the Eurostar from London to Amsterdam to my Partner and I but next to the train departure and arrival times it says +1 day. I know this is usually when a train runs past midnight but in this instance it does not as the train leaves London at 1100 and arrives at 1620 making for only a 4 hour train journey and it is a direct train would this end up using a second travel day or will it be fine as I don’t get off the train and change and is this just an error the rail planner app is using. The date we will be travelling is March 5th and need urgent help as we’ve had a big trip cancel on us and are now scrambling to organise everything and reserve seats to make up for what we’ve lost. Thank you in advance.
Hello, in July I would like to take the ferry from one of the Athens ports to Milos and some days later fromMilos to Paros. Currently only ferry connections with Seajet are displayed. As far as I know Seajet is not part of the Interrail Greek island pass. Can I assume that there will be more ferry connections added for the summer… maybe also with BlueStarFerries? Thanks, heike
I have received my email about DiscoverEu where they say that I have to activate my pass but the app doesn’t work. What can I do? Because is a grant for 18 travelers
Hi everyone. I just joined the community as I have few questions to understand how and importantly when to buy EU rail pass. I have summarised my trip below: travelling dates: April 2025requirements: 15 days continuous travel global passtravelling adults : 2 adultscitizen: non EU citizens question 1 - does EU rail pass prices change? How soon we need to buy if we have a travel booked in April 2025?soon we buy is better? Please suggest? question 2 - not able to see all trains in rail planner app but I can see few trains for April 2025 on EU rail website, why is that so and how soon in advance we can see trains on app? question 3 - not able to see all trains on EU rail website as well but I can see more trains on direct train website , why is that so as these trains are not matching my timings when I need to go as per my plans. question 4 - pass needs to be activated on day of travel as far as I know. To book the journeys, do we need to add all journeys in the app before activating the
Hello,I want to take a global pass to go to athens from berlin without taking the plane but i have questions. I tried to look around for answers from the community but I couldn’t find an answer to every thing. First, very basic question but just to make sure : if I take a night ferry after having traveled all day it still counts as 1 day travel right ? As long as every departure is before midnight Then, we wanted to take the train from Athens to Zagreb on the way back but we couldn’t find anything. Since we are already taking the route that goes through Italy on the way there we wanted to take another one for the way back but nothing seems to exist : do you know if Athens-Zagreb is doable ? Otherwise we thought about Budapest or Beograd but same problem with the lack of connection. We thought of a second option : to go through Italy again but with the ferry that does Patras-Venice but we saw that on ferries there are supposed to be additional fees : do you know approximately what these
Does anyone know if the GetYourGuide discount is currently working? I’ve previously used it successfully in this trip (my pass is still valid and the booking I’m trying to make is within the validity period) and I’m using the link in the benefits portal:Pass holders get a 10% discount on all GetYourGuide tours and activities, including tickets to museums, tours, city passes, theme parks, and much more.To get the discount, click here.I can then put the tour I want in the cart, but at checkout there is no discount applied. I’ve tried it with another tour just incase it was a provider thing. My partner (different pass number) has also successfully booked with her account and it is also not working for her. When we put in our pass number/we browse on GetYourGuide from the link, it shows the Eurail banner at the top of the screen.Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, and thanks in advance!Matt

Hello We are three girls who are currently planning our interrail trip at the end of spring/beginning of summer 2025. We have bought the interrail pass "2 months free travel" and have chosen 14 destinations that we would like to experience. However, we are in doubt as to which order we should plan in? Do we need to find accommodation first? Or should we look for train times first? We have started to find accommodation, but have encountered a problem. We think it seems unmanageable, as some routes between the cities are long or complicated, and thus we have to spend large parts of the day on the train. We are afraid that we will miss the opportunity to experience the city instead. Do we have too many destinations? Maybe we can "save" a night by taking the night train, but how do we find them?Which way is best if you have to plan an interrail trip from scratch as a first-time interrailer? All advice is welcome. These are our "so far" locations: Berlin - Prague, Vienna, Budapest, Ljubujan
I’m having trouble with getting on to get your guide link - it’s saying I have to have a valid pass which I do have - can anyone help please
The train operator’s webpage does not require seat reservations, however eurail shows that it’s required. Why is this? Can I follow the rules from the train operator? Is it mandatory to reserve a seat on Eurail?
Hi, i was just looking through th timetable to look for reservations in June/July. I know I can’t book until end of this month but when looking at French timetables it showed French train and told me I couldn’t book it just yet. When looking from trains in Italy for the same period it either gives me “no results” or send me via france, germany and switzerland( lovely places but noton our schedule this year)Can anyone let me know why this is and if the italian trains will show up closer to the time thanks
