Is 2nd class eurail pass eligible to book a 1st class Bernina Express?  I’m not sure if this is the under different conditions because we have to book it on the official website of the train and the booking fees are the same for both class. 

Important!We created and paid for an order for seats that was supposed to be sent to the hotel (Hotel Wivel Narvik - Norway), but the post office in Narvik told us that the shipment would not arrive until 29.12.2022. And our tickets are for 27.12.2022 and 28.12.2022. We absolutely need to know the reserved seats in the trains in order to continue our journey. The other trains are hopelessly sold out. We have hotels and other trains paid for.What should we do?

I am trying to pay for a Global Pass with a Barclays Visa (USA) and keep getting a message Authentication Failed. I've tried changing browsers, changing computers, and called the credit card company. The card company pre-authorized the purchase and did everything on their side to try to get the payment to go through. From this board, sounds like others have had similar problems. I really want to use this particular credit card for the payment. Is there any other way that I can buy the pass if I can't do it on eurail.com?

Hi. I am a non EU citizen (from Azerbaijan) who is going to have 6 months stay permission (national visa-D) in Germany. Can i buy eurail pass after arriving in Germany? I need eural pass to travel to France, Belgium and Holland at weekends during my 6 months stay in europe. Some articles say, u need to buy eurail pass before arriving in Europe and it can not be bought online. So, lets say i arrive in Germany in april and have visa till november. Can i buy eurail pass in germany in may? Thanks.

I recently booked a reservation for Eurostar from Paris to London. I didn’t realize it was a 1st class reservation until I saw it on the ticket that it only valid for 1st class only. I actually did input my Eurail pass number in when booking, so I am not sure why it went through. There is no 2nd class ticket available to exchange. I am currently in Italy and not sure if the ticket office here can help since it is a different train operator. I was wondering if it is possible to pay the difference in price from 2nd to 1st class for reservation from b-europe. Anyone had the same experience? Should I call the customer service or I can just pay the difference at the Paris station? 

I would like to change my 2nd class pass for me and my 7 years old daughter to 1st class?

Hello all, hope you’ve had a nice Christmas!I’m trying to add a journey within my ‘home country’ to my mobile Interrail pass. The problem is, the trains/route I want to take aren’t offered by the app (I think the problem is that the app doesn’t have the most recent timetables), and there’s more than one train/leg involved.I know how to manually add each train to My Trip, but when I try to create a barcode for this, it warns me that “when adding a journey or leg to your pass to travel in your country of residence, you’ll be prompted to use one of these two journeys. Once you’ve used your outbound and inbound journeys: you’ll not be able to add an additional journey or leg to your Pass to travel on trains in your home country”.This suggests that I won’t be able to add all the legs of my journey without using a travel day for each leg. As my journey involves more than two legs (and I still need the second ‘home country’ journey for another day!) this clearly isn’t

Similar to another post without proper answer. My Eurail app keeps saying that "It looks like you are offline. Go online to see your passes", when I try to view my pass (QR code). The internet on my phone is working fine (both WiFi and mobile data). I have restarted the app, restarted my phone, disabled the app and enabled it, but still getting the same error when trying to access my pass. I have reached out to customer support with no answer. Can I get my mobile pass turned into a paper pass to end this nightmare? Any other suggestions? 

Bonjour, je serais intéressée pour faire un tour de l'Italie en aout 2023 mais lorsque je souhaite réserver les trajets en trains aucuns sont disponibles. Or sur la période de janvier il y a beaucoup de propositions, est ce trop tôt ou il y a t’il moins de trajets en saison estivale ? 

Hi we are travelling from Milan airport to Milan central. Moving on to Florence, then Rome, then ,Venice and back to Milan central to make our way to the airport again. Staying in each place for 2 nights. Total of 9 nights but 8 days travelling. Does the interail pass cover all of these destinations and would it be suitable. Don't want to get caught with extra charges etc.  Any information really appreciated. Ty 

Hi - after people thoughts...We need to change TGV and Eurostar reservations from 7 Jan to 8 Jan due to issues with onward travel in the UK on 7 Jan (strike). I contacted customer support as I’d really like to not loose the fees paid already (and having to pay them again with new reservations). A bit warry of the response time - high volume and now holidays too - and some enquiries will be more urgent with folks traveling now. Wondering about going ahead cancelling and rebooking now while there is still availability, and try to deal with fees seperatly ? Or do we have to totally forget about the fees anyway? If we stay in London on the 7th (not ideal as wasn’t planning to pay hotel), we can’t use the pass on 8th for our onward travel (and final destination, where we need to go) as it will more than 2 out/inbound days). The whole trip has been a waste of a pass from start to finish because of the strikes and

Hello guys, i got my phone stolen in Paris yesterday. I will fly to Italy today December 24, 2022. I need to pass to activate on December 25, 2022. Tried to add the pass to my other phone but it said it already connect to the phone that i lost. Please do something so i can connect the pass to my other phone. Really urgent!!. I already submit a request but no one replies yet. Please help me!!!

We have tgv seat reservations for next sunday, but the train has been cancelled due to strikes. No rebooking is possible because all alternatieve trains are fully booked. We have to revert to slower local trains. SNCF offers a 20% reimbursement, but we cannot get this because the seats were booked through interrail. How can we be reimbursed by interrail? We cannot find any information on the website.

I’m trying to get seat reservations from paris to london on 12/30. When I’m NOT logged in it shows there is availability but when I login it states there is no price. I’m confused. This is my first time 

Hi all, yesterday I activated my month pass, and planned on traveling from Rome to Amsterdam through Milan and Frankfurt. However, a delayed train in Rome caused me to miss my transfer in Milan. It was therefore already impossible for me to travel to the Netherlands by train that day. Since I decided to stay in Rome, is there a way for me to get my (inbound/outbound) travel day back, and the costs for the reservations that were made on the other trains that I was supposed to take yesterday? It was my first ever attempt at using interrail, so I’m not very aware of the rights that I currently have. Thank you!

I've been trying to do my research on the subject but there's a whole bunch of information and I need the most budget efficient plan that I can't seem to find anywhere. Bonjour, je voudrais aller à Rome avec ma famille en partant de France. Est-ce que je dois prendre le pass 1 pays ( Italie)? Ou le pass global ?Les tarifs en train sont 3 fois plus chers qu'en avion. C'est insensé.Je ne suis pas sûre que le pass me revienne moins cher pour 4 que de prendre une carte avantage à la SNCF. Difficile de se faire une idée réelle du prix. Je trouve ça compliqué.Vous auriez des conseils à me donner ?

I bought 3 Eurail passes for my family on the 21st of December and Eurail.com just started the Winter Vacation Discount before a day passes😭. How could this happen!! But we don’t think that we bought those with Plus options and we did not activated our passes, yet. Is there any chance that we can get the Winter Discount??? It’s been a long time since we had gone on a trip abroad due to the coronavirus. Almost 4 years… Please, We really want to get this discount if it’s possible.

I bought eurail pass today, but soon after I found 10% sale !!! I bought with plus status, so I’m sure I get full refund..  But actually I also reserved some seats,, pass itself is not activated yet, but can I change pass no to current reservation ?? 

Hi my family is currently in Paris France right now with 1 senior and 2 Child and they are a party of 9 havingtroublE with booking for their Eurail seat reservation on their trip to Paris to Lyon on December 25. Hi. Does anyone know if you can use the Interail pass (2 month) on the Madrid transit system and specifically the trains. Specifically I’m looking at the C2 and C7 services from Vicalvaro to Atacha.

Morning all, I noticed the 10% this morning and I just want to make sure that I’m correct with possibly swapping my pass for one of the sale passes. I currently hold a 5D/30D with plus.I’m considering either keeping the 5D/30D or swapping for a 7D/30D.If I’m correct, I would have to purchase the new pass, then ask for an exchange if upgrading to the 7D/30D pass? Would the same still apply if keeping the 5D/30D pass?I also have a few reservations and as far I can tell, reservations are associated by name, therefore there should be any issues by changing passes. Am I correct?Thanks again.
