Hi,Received this today and apparently I'm not the only one. This is a big communication error, is there are a plan to send a correction email ? @Camilo. @Mukhammad My passes are not expiring any time soon.- bought in January 2023, used in July-August- bought in November 2023, not yet activatedI'm sure this will confuse a lot of people who might opt for a refund right away.
Hi,we purchased a euro pass for 7 people however we are now having issues reserving seats for travel in Dec 23 & Jan 2024.Does anyone know what our options are if we can’t reserve seats? Will more seats become available in November ? any advice is appreciated thanks
bonjour, nous sommes en train de préparer notre voyage en février vers Kiruna.mais a chaque réservation de couchette un message d’erreur se produit et bloque notre reservation. nous avons essayé de réserver chacun de notre coté, mais rien n’y fait ! hello, we are planning our trip to Kiruna in February.but with each berth reservation an error message occurs and blocks our reservation. we tried to book each on our own, but nothing worked!
Good morning, we are two people who started the interrail on August 2 and had a planning made, where the first train we wanted to take was at night from Milan to Munich at 21:20.The problem is that the reservation is mandatory and does not let me book because I think it is full.I have several questions: How do I know if there are any seats left? Can I book at Milan station when I arrive? Is there any way to enter without booking even on the ground? Thank you so much,Pilar

Hi! So I am backpacking the UK + Ireland and France from Aug to Sept, alone. Lots of people mentioned the EURail but I was wondering if the pass also allows for use of transit (train, bus, etc) between smaller places such as London and Bath, or Glenfinnan and Glasgow, or Nice and Monaco.I am quite literally in a different place every 1-2 days (except for London, Nice, Paris where I’ll be staying for about a week each). So I want a transit pass that works well to get around each place as I know public transport can be costly or weird.I am super confused, so any help would be appreciated!
I can’t find the timetable of this route via routeplanner. Sj.se also shows no discount even if I add my eurail pass. However, this route (Stockholm-Nykoping-Norrkoping) is indeed shown on the eurail map but its operator Mälartåg is not listed as included. Since Mälartåg is the only operator on this route, can anyone confirm the validity of eurail pass on this route?
I have a Masters degree but I am really struggling to work out how to use the online app for my mobile pass. It doesn’t seem intuitive at all. What is the difference between a trip and a journey, for example? How do I add journeys/trips to my pass? Why do I need to duplicate trips to add them for my family? I thought I had added the first day and I can see the tickets there but today I am getting repeated notifications telling me my first travel day is tomorrow but I haven’t added any journeys. I don’t understand. As we leave in the morning I’m worried we’ll be getting on the train without a valid ticket. Is there some clear information somewhere or someone who can help, please? I really wish I’d just bought a paper pass, good old fashioned paper and pen I understand. Thank you!
Hello. I have a few questions as a non-EU traveler:1) Is there a phone number I can use to contact Eurail, if there is an issue with my mobile pass while in Europe or at the train station?2) My credit card concierge service purchased the rail passes on my behalf with their account. Would it be possible to add my email address to the order so that emails are sent to me?3a) Due to covid, it'd be easier if I can reserve the seats and then activate the pass once I am in Europe. Is there there anyway to reserve seats without activating the pass first?3b) Can I make the seat reservations with my order number or does my credit card concierge service need to purchase the seats with their concierge account, since they, also, purchased the rail passes?4) Let's say my pass is activated but there is an issue with the pass and it's not scanning correctly at the station. I'm at the train station and my scheduled train is leaving in 2 hours or even 1 hour. What do I do? Who would I contact to get it
Hi everyone, We have the first class Eurail pass and we just started our journey (1st time Eurail pass users). Me and my wife had booked a trip from Milan to Visp for today (just before noon), which needed seat reservation. When I went to the station this morning, they said only one seat can be reserved (which I did) and the train is full. Do you know how the process works for the second seat reservation? They said come back at 9 and see if a seat is available but I don’t know if it is something that happens regularly or not. Thanks for your help! Mehrdad
I would like to book the Napoles - Catania (Italy) night train. If I am not logged in, the interrail page shows a reservation fee of 3€ for the normal seat, if I log in to make the reservation, the price change to 97 € per person, thats even more than the normal ticket price from TrenItalia (79 €). How can I book a normal 2nd class seat for € 3? Is it better to make a reservation in the office on site?ThanksEllen
Hi everyone !I tried to book seat reservation on the interrail.eu website. So i went on the dedicated internet page and it asked me to log in. So i loged in but then it redirected me on a another internet page which is my personal account. So i tried to go again on the book seat reservation page but it log me out. And so on... That is why i can’t make seat reservation... can you help me ? Thanks
I find 2 totally opposite statements about reservations. Once Eurail says there aren't trains with mandatory reservation in Norway, but again Eurail says trains from Oslo to Bergen are. DB still says No and Vy says nothing - no sign R, no option only to reserve. I don't even see type of train.
Ahoy! I am trying to book my first travel day and have selected the following route for Monday 25 of October, 2021: Edinburgh to London Kings Cross London St. Pancras Intl to Brussels-Midi Brussels-Midi to Wels, Austria. When I click on “My Pass” I am able to see my ticket for all three trains. But all three require seat reservations and I have been unable to make them on the website or the app. I saw that UK reservations need to be made at the train station - is this correct? Am I guaranteed a seat on the train if I have the QR code or do I run the risk of losing a place on the train if I can’t get to the station soon enough (example: I have a 51 minute turn around from Kings Cross to St. Pancras - is that enough time to reserve a seat? For two of my trains, the app reads “Seat reservations required - from N/A” - does that mean the train is sold out? And is there a way to reserve my ticket on ES 9142 from St. Pancras to Brussels-Midi in advance? Thank you for your patience with all of t
Hey! I’m currently in Athens and I would like to buy the greek islands pass. The problem is that it’s not possible to buy the mobile pass for the greek islands, and that if I order it, it’ll take took much time to get here. I need it asap… Is there a place in Athens where I can buy this pass? Thanks in advance
Hi there! I have already purchased my pass and I am having an issue with the online booking system. I am trying to book the Paris to Bayeux route on Nov 5th. It’s showing that reservations are required, but in the area where a price is supposed to be, there is a grey exclamation mark. I’ve noticed that many of the other smaller routes in France are having the same issue. I’ve gone through the website trying to find any other way to reserve a seat, but I am having no luck. Has anyone else had this issue in general? Is there anything that I am doing wrong? Any advice would be appreciated.
I have booked the trip and saved it to my pass from Paris Cdg2 Tgv Roissy to Nimes. However, I can not make seat reservations for any of the trains. I get this message when I try: “No price results were found for this connection. It is possible that the train is fully booked for pass holders. Please try searching for another connection or find an alternative way to book.”This is for all of the trips even when I go months out. Will I have to buy individual train tickets for all of my trips?
Hi, my name's George and I'm from Greece. Today i asked the local train company information about eurail/interrail, conserning an imminent eurotrip I'm about to have and they replied to me that they do not collaborate with your services anymore since COVID 19 pandemic started. I would like to ask, if there are any similar restrictions to any other contracting countries, and if so, which countries are these? Thank you very much in advance.
I have two Eurail Global 1st class passes that I plan on using starting april 5th. I can not book one reservation on trips that needs a reservation. It appears the passes are already sold out. If I go to the country railway page it shows plenty if seats. This is very frustrating for two reasons 1) the ridiculous amount of time I have wasted trying to book reservations and then realizing I shouldn't have boughten a pass since it is already sold out. My question is how can I get a refund?
