after i have added a trip to ‘my trips’ how do i book the train ticket and get a seat reservation. for info iam travelling from Lisbon to Faro 10/6/22 at 10:02, seat reservations required but website isnt showing my trip in order for me to book a seat reservation. also stating book at major train stations in portugal in app!! im confused , need help… is there a contact no for Interrail as we go soon as really needs to know how to use the app and website before we leave !!!
I’m having a ton of difficulty with the Eurail site’s page for booking reservations on any internet browser that I try. Could anyone tell me what I need to do when I need to book seat reservations for the train from Venise St Lucia at 6:18 am and heading to London St. Pancras Int’l? (Also, I don’t know if it helps, but there are 4 travelers and we all have First Class Mobile Passes) There are 4 trains involved in this particular trip, so I don’t know if I need to go to different rail carrier sites and book through there as Eurail suggests, and if I need to do so, how do I find out which rail carriers I’m using for that particular journey? Please send help :(
I’m getting this train in a couple of days and it says there’s no reservation needed. Is this correct or do I need a reservation. I don’t mind being on a longer train journey with more stops so am happy to not pay the extra fees.
It is my first time traveling with Eurail. I want to make sure that I will be able to get a train into popular cities at the most ideal times, but I cannot figure out how to reserve seats when they don’t require you to. I would prefer to have a seat reserved on every train I’m taking so that I don’t have to worry about not being able to take a train, is this possible?thank you!
I was trying to add my pass cover number to the app and it says it won’t accept it. It is only showing 7 numbers rather than the 8. Has anyone else had that problem? It seems like it’s happened quite often, but I didn’t see a solution in the comments accept reaching out to customer service.
I have had an awful time using the Eurail App. I bought 4 passes for our family of four. I have used the app to note first day of travel being May 23. The app didn’t show availability for travel from Milan to Florence so we bought the last few seats available online, not using the Eurail passes! Now we have incurred another $300 that could have been saved using the pass.Is there anyway we can convert the tickets (bought online, now printed at home) into tickets using our Eurail passes. We are afraid to cancel the tickets because they may not be available to buy again through the app. Help!
Hello, I am planning to do some bikepacking from Bergen to Trondheim. The plan would be to go from Paris to Bergen by trains in one go (39h!) but it seems that it is not possible to take bike in every trains, especially between copenhagen and Oslo as there is (only?) high speeds train included in the global pass (7 days). And these trains seems to not accept bikes. Does anyone have information or solution on how to bring our bike to bergen? Also some website are saying that I need to book a place for my bike independently than for my interrail tickets. Does anyone have an idea of the costs of these sorts of tickets?I was also wondering how the 7 days are counted, if one travel last 39 hours but is expanded on 3 days (let’s say leaving at 19h and arriving two days later at 10), does it count as 1, 2 or 3 days for the pass?
Hi.My interrail global pass is for 2nd class seats and we reserved our seat on multiple Trenitalia trains for 2nd class and our interrail email receipt says 2nd class under all the reservations but when we checked the tickets for the trains that we need to print out it says the service is 1° Business.When I looked on google it looks like business class is first class but our pass can only be used for 2nd class.What do we do can we still use the tickets???
Interrail valid duration - ticket not valid anymore if you travel back to the country where you started?
Hi! i heard today that your interrail ticket is not valid anymore if you travel back to the country where you started.. (basicly your home country) is this true? And does that mean you have to travel to all your destinations in a row?
Does a train to an airport in my home country count as my departing train or do I need to buy a ticket like normal?
I live in the UK and plan to fly from Manchester Airport to Amsterdam to start my trip. I will have to get a train from where I live to Manchester Airport as I don’t live very close. I am aware plane tickets are not included in the pass, however, can I use one of my free home country trains to get from my house to manchester airport? Or will I need to buy a train ticket like normal, as this train does not cross a border so is not technically a ‘departing train’?
I activated my travel pass but I inserted travel days that I don’t intend to travel on. Is it possible to change the dates? Cause I can’t find an option on the app to change the dates as they are already set. Or am I not able to change the dates once they are selected?
Hi, On 11th of April I bought a Global Pass online. I paid, but I never received a confirmation mail nor a purchase order on my account. I've sent already three messages to the support desk and never received an answer. I can't find a phone number anywhere on the website. Best Regards, Anita
Hi, my family (2 adults and 2 youths) are planning our trip around northern Europe this August. I have bought the 4 passes and will be using the mobile app. Should I put all the passes on my phone or put the passes on the families inidvidual phones. For convenience, I prefer the former option, but what happens if I lose my phone or it dies? It seems that if this happens then your are stuffed! There does not seem anyway to create a backup or mirror the account on another phone. What does happen if your phone breaks/gets stolen whilst on the trip? I am sure this must have happened to someone.
