Hello! Me and two friends bought the interrail pass, but today when we were trying to make the seat reservation for the OBB Nightjet NJ236 there were no seats available (June 11th at 10PM). It is still possible to reserve seats for this train? The other alternatives are not direct and the seats are also unavailable
Hi All, im brand new to this and have just bought a 3 month global mobile pass. So here’s my first question of no doubt, many more.What is a “trip”. My wife and I plan to travel from Liverpool, through Germany, France then on to Malaga, and back to Liverpool in a three week period, staying at various cities. Is this “one trip”?Or is each leg of that journey a trip? i.e, Liverpool to Paris is one trip. Paris to Nice is another, Nice to Montpellier another etc etc. So confused……..😕

Hello. I need assistance with our passes. I purchased a mobile version of tickets for myself, husband and kid. I have downloaded the app and found the routes and times of preference. We purchased 1st class. I want to book our seats, but the app confuses me…I thought I could buy them on the app, but it’s saying to book on the website itself of the train company. Can someone please break it down for me so that I know exactly what to do? Thanks
I will be starting on a 7-leg trip from Oslo to London by train. I used the mobile Eurail Pass to save details of all legs of this journey and checked that a QR code had been generated for each (iphone 11 IoS 15.4.1, Railway Planner app version 23.11). Today everything has disappeared! I do see that some members have experienced a similar problem - I don’t want to have to enter ALL the details again…..is there a way out?ThanksNandini
Hi! I have a Global Flexi Pass and have made a reservation for a Snälltaget night train from Hamburg (23:59) to Stockholm (14:19). Although this is a direct train and I ordered my reservation as such, the ticket I received includes a change of carriage in Malmö (where some carriages are swapped for others). Does this count as a transfer for my pass?I hope it doesn't, as I planned to only use one travel day for this journey (the day of departure from Hamburg). An official transfer past midnight would require me to spend an extra Interrail day, which I do not have available.
Hi, my friend and I have purchased the interrail ticket (global pass) but our outbound/inbound journeys are a bit different since we live in different parts of italy. I've read that to add travel buddies you need to have the same trip. So my question is:How can we make reservations together (i mean: having seats close to each other), if our trips are a bit different?I'll explain better: we will meet in Milan, but to reach that city we will take different trains (me from south italy, her from north-west italy).After Milan we will take the same trains (milan-zurich-amsterdam-rotterdam-amsterdam-frankfurt-basel-colmar-basel-milan. Some of those trips have mandatory reservations).Then at the inbound journey, after reaching Milan, we will take different trains to come back to our homes. So:is there an online way to book our spots, on those same trains, close to each other? Hope I've explained in a good way,thanks!
and had to download again the Rail app and it says it cannot add the number of the pas because it was already added. I tried to find a number to Call and there is none. Anybody who knows how to solve this? It is activated from Friday… Thanks!
Dear Community,We wanted to book a reduced two month pass, but “problems occurred” so we were unable to. Now the offer is gone and no response from the customer service. Does anyone have experience with how to deal with that? We want to book as soon as possible. Any experiences/tips on how to reach a human working for Interrail are appreciated!!
HiI’m a bit confused about the best way to manage reservations for two of us travelling together. It seems there are two ways to manage a multi-person trip so that reservations are made together (so we can sit together): either by adding both travellers/passes to an account on the interrail web site or by adding both travellers/passes to the app on one mobile device.I understand that these two options are not connected, so it’s one or the other. Which option should I choose? Are there advantages to using the app option, eg we can make reservations together and have the reservation on the phone (without having to print out)? ThanksLee
Hi, We have started using my Eurail mobile pass today at Paris (Paris Montparnasse 1 Et 2) train station. The destination is Rennes with seat reservation. While boarding the train, the ticket inspector scanned the QR code on my Rail Planner app (in both iphone and android), and he said the QR code is invalid. If I remember correctly we enabled this ticket on the app around 1-2 months back. We could only board the train after showing and scanning the QR code of the seat reservation. But my next train does not has a seat reservation. Today is the first day and I have 15 more days to travel. How can I get valid QR codes for my tickets? In case the ticket is not valid and I had to buy a new ticket or pay a fine, will Eurail reimburse the pass cost to us ?
I’ve managed to reserve first seat from London to Paris. I’ve since been trying for 3 Evenings to reserve seats for 2nd journey from Paris to Bern. It either keeps telling me gateway error or it just keeps circling ?? Any ideas . I still need to reserve more . I really wouldn’t be happy travelling without reservations so at least I know I have a seat !! Any help and guidance would be appreciated Thanks
Hello! I am looking to purchase a Eurail pass and on the homepage of the website it says there is currently a 10% discount for summer travel. I clicked on the link and selected the pass I wanted, but the prices seems to be the same as before, no discount. Is there a code that I have to put in for the discount or is it automatically added on? I was looking at the pass a month ago and the price is the same today even though there is a 10% discount sale. Any insight or clarifications would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
I bought a pass for italy i looked up de trains in the rail planner, the train i want to take needs a seat reservation but when i go to de other site to make this reservations, i cant see this trains. It looks also like every train is already booked. I wanted to book the train on 15:10. How can i make a seat reservation for this train? I hope someone can help me.
