Hi travellers, have you experienced to be charged a fully tariff ticket although you are a eurail pass holder?I bought a ticket at Paris Gare de Lyon Station, on these self.service machines, and I was charged full tariff for a ticket from Paris to Berlin (euros 213) instead of partially as I have my eurail pass, so I should be charged with just euros 30 - 40 app.Have you experienced this issue? how it was solved?, I try to get in touch with eurail offices or agents but i just got connected with a chatbot, and they suppose to get back to me within 48 hours.Do I have possibilities to get the extra money paid back? any chances? anyone on this community could comment? I will really appreciate it!!Bye for now.
hello, i bought a pass and my first trip will be from london to liverpool, as soon as i arrive in europe. I managed to find the train trip, I generated the ticket, but it says that I need to reserve the seat, but as my pass is on mobile, the option to book at the station only appears. Is there any risk of me arriving at the station and not having a seat on the train, or with the ticket in hand I already have a guaranteed space on the train?
Hi All, I am travelling in Italy at the end of this month. I am currently planning my journey on the Eurail app. I have a mobile pass.I have saved a journey to My Trip with a 10 Eur Seat Reservation charge.How is this charge paid?There is no option on the App to pay.Under “More’ you can select ‘Seat Reservations’ then select ‘Italy’ and it says ‘Book at major train stations – At a ticket office or self-service machine’Does this mean the reservation fee is paid at the station on the day? thanks,
Hi, I’m trying to book Eurostar tickets from Paris to London, they are available on Eurostar but you can’t use the pass on the booking page, however, on the B-Europe site, it says there are no trains available. Any ideas for alternative ways to book tickets? I used B-Europe to book tickets for my outward journey so not sure why its not working now, I can’t find tickets for any date. THANK YOU
I have bought two Interrail-passes on the first of April and have just put in a request for a refund. My ordernumber is IN30465750.I am trying to reach Interrail-support because I think you owe me a 100% refund, not just 85%.Before I bought the passes I looked at the trip Amsterdam/Girona with highspeed trains on your website and everything I tried was shown as possible to book, this was on the 31th of March. On the first of April I bought passes and tried to make the actual reservations but found that this isn't possible. I always get a message 'bookingsystem not available, try again in a few hours'. I even get this message when I try to book months into the future. It appears that your bookingsystem does not work.I tried to reach Interrail-support to find out what is going on but found that it is not possible to contact your organization. I bought the global Eurail pass. It’s the Mobile version. I knew some trains required reservations (didn’t realize nearly all do). I’m uncertain how to book these and don’t want to pay more than I need to. I can see my pass and I have “my journey” saved. There’s a button on the top right of each leg I can click to turn on. I’m not sure what exactly this is though as it doesn’t buy a ticket or reserve a seat, so what’s the purpose? I also am seeing different times/routes on different sights. For example, I saw a London to Amsterdam on May 2nd at 11am on one site, but can’t find it on the Eurail App. I’m not sure if there’s different trains or what? I also notice there is 1st comfort and 1st class premium? I also see some tickets they mail to you?? If seats are selling out, I’d like to buy them in advance (do have 1 overnight train). However, I was also hoping to be as flexible as possible. For example, if I wanted to leave somewhere a day or two early to explore somewhere
Bonjour,Etudiante en Erasmus à Rome, j’ai souhaité réservé un aller et un retour entre Rome et Milan. Sur l’application j’ai bien réservé deux billets à des dates plutôt en fin de journée. Mais je dois “réserver” des sièges au tarif de 12€ chacun. Une fois sur le site internet , je sélectionne dans mon panier les deux billets déjà réservés sur mon appli ( l’un à 19h et l’autre trains dès 18h30), mais une fois que j’accède au panier pour ma commande, les horaires ont changé et mes tickets seraient très tôt le matin… je ne comprends pas pourquoi. je souhaiterais procédé au paiement mais si j’achète ces réservations de siège (le tarif est toujours le même, mais l’horaire des trains a changé automatiquement alors que je n’en ai pas fait la demande), est ce que cela passera pour les tickets aux horaire de fin de journée que j’ai censé réserver sur l’application ? I saw on the inter rail train finder that there is a direct night train (non sleeper) running from Amsterdam Centraal at 22:34 getting into Berlin the following morning at 05:52 (running regularly but I specifically wanted to take it on 26 June). I can't find this train on the inter rail app or on any other train service timetables, is it a mistake? Are there only daytime trains available? Don't want to turn up at the station late at night to find it's not running and have to try find accommodation, wouldn't really bea great start to my trip!
I tried to make a reservation for a journey on Eurostar. They tell you that you get a confirmation email within 30 minutes. This happened when I made my outbound reservation. This time it did not. Which is why, after one hour +, I thought it had not worked for some reason, and I tried again.By pure chance, I found a page called “reservations overview” (or something similar) and found that I had made two reservations for the same train in my name. I also found that I could not get a refund ! And after several hours, I still have not got a confirmation email with a ticket which I can print out (and which I need !), and I cannot even find the reservations page again in the mobile pass … I am close to tears because the b… thing is so impossible to navigate. I have wasted hours trying to get back to pages, when I have found that I am being sent around in circles to multiple pages offering me answers to questions I did not ask but not touching upon the problems I am trying to solve
Hey!I’m new to the eurail community, looking to plan a trip to Italy/Switzerland. I am a bit confused about how the booking system works, specifically for the Eurocity train between Italy and Switzerland. When I did the plan route option, I didn’t see any direct routes from Milan to Zurich, although in the travel planning section it states that there are direct trains. Additionally, are EC trains included in the global pass? I did not see that company listed in the included trains list
Hi, is my first time to travel to europe.What is more convenient for 3 trips that need to do with my wife (London-Paris, Paris-Zurich, Barcelona-Madrid)?:• Buy a pass (Eurail) for these 3 trips or buy 3 ticket separated?• Where is more conevenient to buy (what website)?• Is necesary to buy seat reserve beside the ticket or the ticket include this reserve?
I treated myself to a 1st class Interrail pass - it looked like a good idea at the time. The problem is now trying to make a seat reservation, since obviously reservations are not included in the Interrail pass, when they do not even know you are going to travel on a given train. In Germany, seat reservation is included for 1st class tickets, so you do not get the offer, on the bahn.de page, to just reserve a seat for the first class (without buying a ticket). How do I do this ? Do I have to go to the local railway station, where they have already told me that they know nothing about Interrail, to make a reservation which is possibly impossible to make ?
Hello :) 2 years ago I had to shorten my trip cause Corona arrived!!! I remember receiving a message that if I used it 4 or less days I could get a new interrail pass when the situation would calm down! Now is the time :))) but I don’t find that mail back. How should I ask a new pass in refund of mine? I kind of wanna travel next week already (last minute request of a friend to go with her cause it s finished with her boyfriend) sooo It would be amazing to get an answer quick;) but no worries if you need time ;)

Hello, I would like to cancel my order of my pass. I checked BEFORE ordering whether the relevant trains were available for reservation (yes they were). Then I bought the pass and all of a sudden they are no longer available.I feel slightly ripped off and hoped for a cancellation as a gesture of goodwill.There is no possiblity beside of chatting with a bot...very bad support.Any ideas?

Hello, I want to travel from Finland to Germany. I am intending to buy a four-day in one month global travel pass. Two days for the ride to Germany and two days for the ride back to Finland. Researching about the interrail mobile pass opens up questions about some terminology.At one point it says:Can I change the trip connected to my Pass?You can change the trip your Pass is connected to up until you activate your Pass. Once your Pass is activated, you can’t disconnect a trip or connect a different trip. And at another point they sayWhat does it mean to add a journey to my Pass?Adding a journey to your Pass means it will appear on your ticket ready for inspection on that travel day. You need to add all your journeys to your Pass as you travel so you have a valid ticket for every journey. The ticket inspector will check the journey details on your ticket, so make sure you add the right journey to your Pass before you board the train. I have planned to travel from Venice to Lyon the 28th of July. In the Railplanner App, I can only see a train going via Austria and Switzerland. This takes around 24 hours, whilst when I look at the site of the Italian train company, I see a train via Milan that's way faster. Can I take this train with my Interrail Pas too, or not?
