Hi (:I bought an Interrail ticket last year and 11.04.23 is the last day I can activate it. However, I can only start from 15.04.23 for three weeks.Does it matter when I make my first trip after I activated the pass on 11. April? Or do I need to add a trip on that day?Thanks for your help :)Julia

Hello Everyone. This week i will go from Hungary to Zagreb by interrail. My plan is to go to split after Zagreb. After Split i want to go down to Bosnia, Montenegro, Albania ….. but i see that it is difficult to go there from Split…if there are no possibilities i can go back to Zagreb and travel from there.Does anyone know what routes are available to go down europe by Interrail from Split or Zagreb? thank you in advance! julian

I have planned my whole trip with interrail but I need to buy the ticket from Paris north to Brussels central. The interrail website does not give me the purchase details, where can I book it? My pass is an electronic one, so every train reservation is validated via qr code (I don't need paper tickets), right?

Hi Folks,I am a first time interrail traveller and I am facing an issue when planning my trip. Appreciate all the help :)I am planning to travel to Copenhagen from Munich (then to Norway and Sweden). I plan to start my trip from Munich on 6th april 2023 and reach Copenhagen on 7th april. I am facing two issues.1) To go to Copenhagen, the fastest route is via Hamburg. When I search in the rail planner app, the app is showing connections through Hamburg but with multiple changes. There is a train (IC3) which takes ~5 hours and is direct from Hamburg to Copenhagen, but it isn't showing up in interrail planner (even when I am searching a single trip from Hamburg to Copenhagen). This train is mentioned in interrail website under the danish trains section also on other websites. How can I add this train journey to my pass?2) As I mentioned, my journey starts on 6th April 2023 at 11pm from Munich. Since it's my residence country this journey will utilize an outbound journey. The March 28 paris-Lourdes train booked using Eurail pass was canaeled due to a strike and replaced by the next day'train at the impormationdesk at the Montparnas station. But there was no seats on the replacement train. My husband and I paid 44€ for the seat reservation.I'd like to request a refund on this deposit.

Hi All, thanks for the super answers you are providing! At the end of May, my wife and I will take the train from Lugano to Strasbourg (via Basel). It’ll be a weekeday and we’re flexible but prefer late morning. In your opinion, do we need a reservation? Our Eurail pass is first class. I’ve heard from some in the community that you don’t need a res in Switzerland. OBB is selling an 11:00am reservation for about 10 Euros per person. Necessary? Thanks!

Hi, I have a journey Amsterdam - Berlin on 29/03. It says seat reservation recommended. 2 questions: 1- Is it really recommended for this journey or will I be fine without one? 2- If I book a seat for the 11:00, but I need to catch the 13:00, can I transfer my seat reservation or will I have to buy a new one for the later train? Thank you!

Hello.  We will be travelling in October.  Wondering if 4 min is enough transfer time in STEINACH            (B ROTHENBURG OB DER TAUBER), 5 min in ANSBACH and 7 min at STUTTGART HBF station. Ive never been on the train, so Im not sure what it means to transfer from train to train, for example is it another station or across the platform? Or different depending on what city?  Thanks for any information!

Hello, I am trying to book a seat for Sargan to Ljubljana (night train) but it doesn’t work. It is written that seat reservation are only given in paper so I’ll to take it a the station but it is not really comfortable to me. Does anyone has already taken this train and succeed to reserve a seat in advance?  I would really appreciate some help. thanks a lot, Lola 

This is saying that I need a bus from Bologna to Prato. Is this included in the interrail price, will I need to book (I’ve selected no reservation) and is it easy to find (is it at the station and goes straight to Prato station) 

This is the route I’m planning tomorrow: Florence- Bologna, Bologna-Florence, Florence-Pisa. This will all be in 1 day. I’m sure it is, but wanted to double check, this is ok to do on the interrail pass?  I know I could skip returning back to Florence but it works out quicker and I will be in pisa at an earlier time. 

When looking at a route form Florence SMN to Bologna there are two options for Bologna train station (Bologna city and Bologna centrale). Are these the same or different because when I put in the exact same route, the arrivals time at Bologna city is 25 ish minutes before Bologna centrale. If I want to be in the city centre, is Bologna central the correct station to arrive at?

I tried to plan my trip from Inverness to Canterbury to make reservations, but the last part (London- Canterbury) does not turn up in the trip-planner. Can I not use the interrail ticket in south of London?

On my interrail route I’ll be going from Milan to Salzburg. It’s saying that ‘a supplement is required’ even though I’m on the ‘no reservations necessary’ filter. What does this mean and what will happen if I don’t have this? 

Hi what is a pass cover number? I want to book a seat via another train website. Do I need pass cover number for mobile pass before I can fo this? 

Hello everyone,i just found out that the prices for reservations in France has increased massively from 12€ to 22€ for many of the trains that i want to take: Does anyone know why or if this is a bug?Also, what does “Pass Interrail (BE)” mean? Hi everyone. I want to reserve a train from Cluj Napoca to Budapest but I’m unable to even add it to the cart because it says:“Prices unavailableNo price results were found for this connection. It is possible that all pass holder seats are sold out. Please try searching for another connection or check 'More information' and try other ways to book this seat reservation. If no pass holder seats are available anymore you need to buy a separate full fare ticket to board.”Is this really fully booked? I get the feeling that it is due to that Interrail doesnt have access to the reservation system of Hungary. However, when I go to the site of the Hungarian reservation system ( https://jegy.mav.hu/jegy/szolgaltatas-valasztas?step=3 ) it is expensive and I don’t know how to enter that I have an interrail pass. Bonjour, nous souhaitons voyager en Autriche et en Slovénie en août 2023. Je n'arrive pas à réserver un compartiment couchette dans le train de nuit direct qui part de Paris le vendredi soir pour arriver à Vienne le lendemain matin. J'ai le même problème pour revenir (Vienne à Paris) fin août. Est-ce que ces trains ne sont pas encore ouvert à la réservation ? Ou est ce que nous devons trouver un autre train pour se rendre à Vienne ? Merci d'avance pour votre aide !Laure.

Hi, i’m travelling around Europe with a friend in april and i have a reservation question.There is a train that we would like to take from Berlin to Amsterdam on the 23rd of april, it says that we are ready to board and that we can buy a seat reservation if we like, it's not required but its “recommended” (in green). The problem is that the prices for this reservation are unavailable, which probably means that there are no reservations left. My question is, will we still be able to get on this train ? And if we can will there be any seats left or will we have to stand up for 6 hours ?Thank you !

Trying to reserve seats on a train from Sheffield to London on April 10th. Interail reservations page says no trains available although National Rail sight says there are several 

Is there a phone number for Eurail customer service? I have tried the zen desk approach - received a couple of messages and a promise that they would investigate, but now no further contact.Alternatively is there a way to escalate the complaint?
