Hi, In the interrail planner it says that there are no more available seats for the eurostar from Paris to Amsterdam on this date, but in raileurope the seat still looks available. Is this possible? Or will I get an error later or have to stand?The times are also off by 5 minutes but I assume that’s a glitch.  

Hello!Interrail just announced relay strike action that will impact rail networks across the Netherlands on the 9th, 13th and 15th of September which affect my travels and I don’t know what to do now and need advice.Interrail states: “There will be no trains throughout the Netherlands on these days.” On the 9th I’ll travel from Berlin to Amsterdam, will this also be cancelled, how do I know?On the 15th I’ll travel from Amsterdam to Paris and the Thalys website does not state that these trains are cancelled (only a few due to construction), so how do I know if it is cancelled or not? 

Cuando planifico mis días de viaje en la app, en cada tramo de tren me aparece “Está listo para abordar”, “Puedes comprar una reserva de asientos si lo deseas, pero no es obligatorio” o bien “Este es un tren popular. Se recomienda hacer reserva de asientos, pero no es obligatorio”. Mi duda es (sobretodo cuando aparece la segunda o tercera frase) si puede que el tren esté completo y no dejen subir a pasajeros sin reserva o bien, como en nuestros trenes de cercanías, siempre queda la posibilidad de viajar de pie. 

I booked Carcassonne to Zurich through rail planner and the reservations.  I had a hotel that I couldn't cancel in Zurich.The SNCF train was late on first part, but SNCF cannot help as the tickets weren't booked by the Rail Planner App as one journey. Has anyone foubfmd a solution.  It looks like I'll lose the reservations for trains i can't now make today and the hotel.  The activities I had booked on Zurich may also be lost. Total cost £250+.  Has anyone had any luck with claiming a rebate.  The ticket office in Toulouse (en route)  saud SNCF wll find me a hotel.  This now doesn't look true.

Hi everyone,we are currently traveling back to Germany (home country) by night train and didn’t realize that the app uses this journey as an inbound travel although the first stop in Germany is after midnight. Now we can’t change the journey anymore and have used an inbound ticket, but we still have to travel in Germany the next day to get back to our hometown. Does anyone know how we can fix the problem or if the conductor will let us go in the next train without a ticket?  Thanks :)

Hello Forum and especially Support Team,I am in a severe emergency. My trip starts tomorrow night (Sunday).I purchased a Mobile Pass. An older version of the Rail Planner app is already installed,but I have an iPhone SE iOS 15.8.8  and when I try to open it to add my pass, it triggers a forced update screen and prevents me from accessing my pass. I cannot update the app due to iOS limitations, and I do not have access to another smartphone.I already submitted an official support ticket yesterday evening, but I have not received a reply yet. Thing is, had I known, I’d have bought regular train tickets. I’m travelling to France on relative short notice for the funeral of my aunt there.  When I compared prices, Interrail was the cheaper option, so. And even I cancel the pass now - regular ticket prices have meanwhile GONE THROUGH THE ROOF and I can’t afford to buy those tickets. Really can’t. Dear forum,In the beginning of August I plan to go from germany (preferably Braunschweig) to Riga in Latvia with the mobile eurail global pass. However, I do not find Riga as station listed in the New version of the app. It seems that this is a common problem as the Baltic companies do not fully cooperate with the creators of the app in supplying their time schedules. Some previous notes say that one is supposed to manually add train connections to the app. However, I do not find a way to do that in the newest version of the app, as one simply is not able to chose a destination. I am booking a train from Paris to Valence d'Agen, which requires seat reservation, when I arrive at Paris on plane on the same day. I am afraid if the flight is delayed then I will not be able to catch the train. Should I:Book the train and pay for seat reservation now Do not book the train until flight is confirmed to be on time for the train scheduleI have a feeling that A is a better option, but what if I do miss my train? Will I have to pay for seat reservation again?

My travel plans have changed and I need to cancel several seat reservations made through Interrail, most notably the night sleeper Zurich/Budapest, in both directions (single person room) and the night sleeper Budapest/Bucharest both directions (couchette).The “Exchange and refund conditions for reservations” page gives information on this, but no links on how to actually do it! Can you help please? Thanks.

Hello, I would like to travel from lorient to varenna tomorrow and be there the next day on the 17th early if possible but when i check to book it says there is no trains that are available it's all fully booked, so far on this journey i paid extra for making certain routes with uber alternative bus and so on, could you give me an alternative travel with bus or something for free since i already have the interail and need to get to varenna on the 17th or what can you help to do

I have a couple of questions about the current process for claiming delays with Eurail.I have submitted several claims over the past few weeks, but just received the standard reply saying it is has been received. Does anyone know how long it is taking to process currently? The form asks for a screenshot of the ticket. Eurail has disabled this functionality so I have submitted the images with the QR code missing (using the option to allow screenshot in the app). Will this be accepted?

It is very confusing, it says ‘ticket is valid for section of the journey only’ I don’t understand if I can book this with an Interrail pass or can just hop on board without the reservation? Anyone that had this before?  

A couple of questions. Every single train I’m trying to book from Offenburg Germany to Bern Switzerland on 10-3-26 says this. I have a global pass. I’m only trying to book a seat to guarantee I can get on a train. What do I do now?Also, I read somewhere on a forum on here that unless a reservation is compulsory I can just hop on the train and show my pass. Is this true? How does the individual train company get paid for the trip?Any insight would be awesome. I’m really stressing over this and I know it can’t be that hard.  Although it would definitely help if I was a little more technologically literate.🤪

I am exchanging my standard reservation pass (using our booking code) for the next day to London from Brussels. The Eurostar website is offering me upgrade to plus for £5. Is this available on an interrail standard pass please?

Hello !I am from France, and I am visiting Hambourg in Germany with my family. We are going back home tomorrow by night train to Paris, and then go home with another train. I know it will take two days of travel and that's ok. However, when i put my travel on the railplanner app, the first part (Hambourg to Paris) use our inbound travel and I can't use my pass to go home... I dont understand this, because when we went to Hambourg, we did exactly the same travel in the other way, and it worked !I dont know how to do, and I would like not to get a fine going back home ...

Does anyone know of a good little trip for a weekend for a family, last minute that might not be booked up!! From the UK 

The app keeps telling me that I am offline, thus not allowing me to access my pass. I have tried to change the hour settings on my phone, airplane mode, restarting the app and the phone, but nothing changes.

I am trying to look at trips from Salzburg to Prague in December and Eurail messages say they are waiting for an update from railway and to check back.  Is this typical behavior?  I get no results so cannot even see the routes and times.  Anyone have any experience with this?

Sto provando a prenotare i posti e mi dice che sono finiti i crediti ( che penso ricoprirono il costo della prenotazione a sedere) volevo perciò pagare il costo della prenotazione che era di 8€ ma credevo che il treno fosse lo stesso gratis tantè che sotto la scritta della prenotazione c’era scritto 16€ ( perché siamo in due ) e mi dice che non c’è più posto per prenotazioni gratuite infatti io volevo pagare ma non mi dà l’opzione . Aiuti ?
