Hello,I recently booked a ticket on the Euronight train from Prague to Warsaw via the cd.cz website.Here is the link to my journey:https://www.cd.cz/en/vlak/443/1.7.2025/5457076/22.16/5100065/9.17/The problem is that I cannot find this exact route in the Eurail app, so I’m unable to register it there. When I search for the route in the app, it only shows options with transfers instead of the direct night train.If I select one of the transfer routes, it seems I have to use 2 Travel Days. But as far as I understand, since it’s a night train, I should be able to use only 1 Travel Day (on the departure date), which would save one of my days.How can I fix this issue?

I have just received an email saying that I urgently need to set up my pass as it will expire in 8 weeks - I only bought it about two months ago. Anyway - I bought a 7 day pass to use in a month and I have to activate it by the 23rd of march. My 1st day of travel will be the 1st of April. I think I have set it up, the last step I had to do is activate it. Do I need to activate it now? I hope this makes sense. 

Good afternoon,I accidently booked my mobile pass under my call name. This name isnt on my pasport. The two names that are on my pasport start with the same letter. Do you  guys think this will lead to identification issues?  Kind regards,Aron

I have a 1st class travel pass.Am I able to reserve a 1st class Premium seat using this pass on Spanish trains ?

I know/understand that pass holder fares from Istanbul to Sofia can only be bought in person at a ticket counter in Istanbul.Unfortunately I can’t afford to take the risk that having made it to Istanbul I can’t get back out again.Is there any mechanism at all that I can use to *reserve* my place on the train, but only present my pass when I make it to Istanbul?For info/context, I aim to arrive in Istanbul around Thursday 2nd April and leave that Sunday night.I even thought of flying to Istanbul on the cheapest flight possible, booking my train and flying home, but it rather blows the “overland from Istanbul” plan if I have to fly there to get the ticket.

Hi I am using the Trip Planner function but it looks like only some of the train routes are showing up. For example, many trips from North Spain to the South have me routed through Zaragoza but on a detailed train map, there seem to be much more direct routes. Is the rail pass limited to the routes that show up on the Trip Planner? Thanks

Hi!In may I will travel to Amsterdam. I have to decide between buying the ticket on the öbb nightjet website or buying the interrail (for the comodity of using it to travel in the netherlands during my stay).I have to know the total cost of the interrail (4 days package) included the seat reservation. If I look in the timetable of the app it says I don’t have to book a seat for the nightjet (Zurich-Amsterdam and return) but on the öbb website the seat reservation is required. If I choose a ticket in the öbb website it shows me the TOTAL COST so I don’t have an idea of the cost for the couchette resevation ONLY. I need to know the cost of ONLY the couchette resevation. The information are nowhere to find…Can someone please help me :-) Thank you!

Hi ! I have an issue with the AVE train from Madrid to Granada (train number 2076) on April 20th 2026. I have been trying for 4 days. Renfe websiteinterrail websiteThe interrail website says “ No price results were found. Pass holder reservations may be sold out for this connection, but there are other ways to check for available seats—more info below our timetable. “However, this train is already alvailable on Renfe website (04/20/26 is 84 days from now) and with plenty seats available.I haven’t found any information about limited seats for railpass on AVE trains. I didn’t manage to book Railpass seats directly on Renfe website and didn’t find any documentation on how to do it (contrary to what is possible with companies in other countries such as Austria). Thank your for your help. 

Hello,This is just a quick question! Me and my friends are thinking about purchasing the seven travel days in one month pass. If we start on the 1st of August does this mean we have to finish on 31st of August or the 30th. I am not sure as ofcourse the month has 31 days instead of 30. Please let me know, Thank you

Hello,I have a reservation for the night train from Bucuresti to Vienna for tomorrow, but since around 2 days, the train does not appear in my Interrail App anymore. It still exists on the ÖBB website (where I also got the reservation from), which makes me wonder how it disappeared from the Rail Planner App.  Any idea if there are any train disruption I should know of?  Also: My reservation starts from Bucuresti though I want to hop in only in Brasov. Do you think that will be a problem?

I have bought seat reservations on Eurostar from London to Paris on the 1st of April at 11:31am. Booking number MYRW6R. How do I link this trip into my Eurail app? I was told I didn't need to (that my pass is my booking train ticket) but I'm worried that I need to do another step like ‘link my Eurail pass app to my Eurostar seat reservation tickets”. Please help me. I hope you understand this question Kind regards, Christine 

Does somebody knows how to make a seat reservation from Gotenborg tot Hamburg for july? When can I make this reservation? Is this only 120 days in advance?

Hi,we are planning to travel from Zurich to north Italy, then to trieste and from there to Austria.I looked at the planner and for every part of the travel seems a good option available without reservations (sometimes a bit longer). We want our freedom so we will try this and maybe a last minute reservation if that is possible in februari.  Then there is one part of the travel that is not so clear:We are planning to travel from trieste to Vienna. We would like to do a stop over in Graz for an afternoon, but it does not seem possible with super little trains going in the morning. Also it says you don’t need reservations but there is a supplement, not giving any further information on the supplements.i found in another forum topic from a few years ago the following answer:This supplement exist only on trains to Italy that are run by DB and ÖBB. This means like EC Munich-Innsbruck-Verona/Bologna/Venice or RJ Vienna-Villach-Venice. For this trains you have to pay 10€ in 2nd class. You can

I’m looking to book the sleeper from Stuttgart to Zagreb on 24th June 2026. I’m booking through the Nightjet website. The page lists “Construction work - Rail replacement bus service”, but I can’t find any more information on whta this involves (or might involve, it might not be finalised yet). Does anyone know where I can find more information on the rail replacement bus service? If it is very disruptive, we might book an alternative route. Thanks! 

I am planning an interrail trip for five of us. I will be setting it all out on my app, as I have fir myself in the past. Is there an easy way to share the details with my four companions to save them having to add all the journeys individually to their apps.

Hi all!I am planning a trip from Rome to Zürich, but due to personal reasons it’d be more comfortable for me to take a Frecciarosa at 16:25 to Milano and then take last EC to Zurich, rather than earlier. I would have around 40 minutes planned change in Milano, but here is my question:If I wouldn't make it for the change to EC, there’s a RE80 to Lugano and after 4 minutes change an IC to Zürich, but if the RE would not make it for the 4 minutes change, I’d be stuck in Lugano. In that case, would I be entitled for accomodation due to AJC? It requires reasonable change time, which is fulfilled for the original trip, but not for the “emergency” RE to Lugano.Best regards!

I'm attempting to make a booking from Australia. The booking is for a trip on April 28, 2026, from Ancona to Patras. I insert all my and my wife's details, as well as the discount details for our Global Eurail pass and our passports. However, when I click on the 'Port Agencies' button, I receive an error message - ‘default extra not found’. See the second picture below.If I leave that blank, then I receive the error message 'Accept the required details to continue with the reservation.' See the first picture below.I have tried booking without the 'early bird' feature and received the same problem. I have tried different types of browsers to no avail. The problem occurs with either credit card or PayPal payment types. Hey! As suggested by the team at Interrail, me and my friend are now using the online trip planner to support us in planning trains and journeys. We are struggling on planning our route from Nice to Rome. The only option its suggesting is 35 hours long via switzerland. Please can you advise us on the best way to do this travel day. We are aware its a 12 hour journey. We have a global pass.  Thanks!

I found a night jet train in the Rail Planner app I’d like to take, and it doesn’t require seat reservation. I tried to reserve in the interrail site anyway but I got a message that there might not be available reservations anymore. I looked for the trip in the train lines sites (both DB and ÖBB) and were not able to find it for the same date. Here the details for the trip:IC 60403Amsterdam Centraal to Zurich HB28.03.2026, 20:15-08:05Does that mean there is a problem with the schedule in the Rail Planner app and this trip won’t happen?

When using your Eurail pass for the discounts on Ferrys, does that count as a travel day?  Such as the overnight ferry from Barcelona to Civitavecchia.

Hello, I am from the United States and have only a US passport. I am studying abroad in Madrid right now, and I have a student visa and an apartment in Madrid. I am looking at getting a rail pass for 4 days/month. Do I qualify for an Interrail pass or should I get Eurail? The prices seem similar so I am not sure of the advantages/disadvantages of either.
