Bonjour, Je souhaite prendre la compagnie european sleeper, mais je n’arrive pas à notifier que je possède le pass interail sur leur site. Par conséquence je n’ai pas les mêmes tarifs entre l’applications #discoverEU et leur site Web trouvé sur l’applications. Que dois-je faire ? Contrairement au train de nuit Berlin HBF -> malmö, ou il y a des tarifs spéciaux. Est ce que je dois essayer de réserver directement sur l’applications, même si c’est un train de nuit ? 

Nous partons en train en Roumanie avec mon équipe de compagnons des sgdf (scout guide de France).Pour ce faire nous avons acheté un pass interrail par personne sauf que une des personnes de notre équipe à gagner un pass interail via le programme discover eu de l’union européenne. Nous voulons donc savoir si il est possible d’échanger des réservations de places assises d’un pass à un autre.

I only need 100-150 euros to reserve seats on trains and if I have the Interrail Global Pass, I can add another adult person, a retired person, my mother.

My husband and I are traveling from the US. We’ll be going to Copenhagen, Berlin, Amsterdam and Brussels. I was reading the luggage information and wondered if we’ll be able to board with what we have. We will each have a rolling, hard case suitcase (mine is 20inx10inx14in. His is 19inx9inx13in.) and a backpack each. I’m thinking of not bringing my purse to help with space. If it won’t fit in 2nd class, should we bump up to first?

in “how to use your pass” the website says that who’s travelling from an island, can obtain an airplane ticket to start the interrail from another country. well, how can i obtain that ticket?

I want to book a seat reservation from Germany to Italy using my DiscoverEU credits. I know that I have to pay additional supplement but my question is where and how to pay it? In the Interrail website I can book the reservation using my credits, but I can not pay it there as I can see. If I need to pay it on another website I still need to buy the seat reservation  on the Interrail website, and after that to pay the additional thing on a different website, or in this case I need to buy the reservation on another website?

Hello, I'm traveling from Vienna, Austria to Brest, France. I had to reserve seats for the trains in France that are at the end of the journey (so I have the tickets). But how do I get tickets for the trains at the beginning, as I can't find them? Will simply showing my Interrail pass work?

We’re trying to book Split to Zagreb train via Interrail website, but get the error message:No price results were found. Pass holder seats may be sold out for this connection, but there are other ways to check for available seats—more info below our timetable. please help advise how I go about getting these tickets/reservations using global Interrail passes.thank you

Hello,It appears that I have won a Discover EU pass after I’ve checked on the portal with my application code (which I had received by email by the way), however, I have not received any email about the fact I have won. My friends though did get an email with a booking code to activate and all the next steps. I’ve checked and my email works perfectly fine, the email is not in the SPAM folder and I had previously received the email with confirmation of my application early in April.Any help would be greatly appreciated as I’d hate to miss out on this experience for a technical issue. I booked three tickets for Madrid–Barcelona, but I only received the receipt for all three and only two actual tickets by email. The missing ticket is for my 3-year-old son. On top of that, the two tickets I received are in different coaches. I’ve already written to Eurail three times and only got one reply saying they would look into it.

Hey! I have an Interrai pass, that I won in the DiscoverEU program. I booked reservations trough the https://jegy.mav.hu/ website, where I had to introduce my pass number. The booking was finished, but after that in the interrail website I still have the credits I tought I used for that. I had 4 credits from the beggining, and now after the booking I still have all of them. Now my question is if I can use those credits for another train ride, if I still have them, or they are counted as used, but I can still see them, because I booked on another website?

I notice trip planner has sunsetted. Is there a new one? Or is there a link that works?

July 2027 we travel to Enkhuizen – Stavoren for a bike trip around Friesland.  We plan to travel from Manchester to London.  From there via Eurostar to Amsterdam and then from Amsterdam to Enkhuizen.  Just wondering whether this feasible.

Hello, I’m going on an Interrail trip from Geneva to Slovenia, Austria, Hungary, Romania, Turkey… and I’m looking to book seats on trains that require compulsory reservations. But with the RailPlanner app, I’m being charged very high shipping fees (around €10). Is it possible to avoid these fees? Thanks in advance!

Ciao, io e la mia compagna di viaggio non riusciamo a prenotare la tratta Copenaghen - Berlino per 11/07/2026, neanche cambiando il treno. Ci sono tanti treni disponibili ma non ce li fa prenotare quando arriviamo al pagamento…È successo a qualcun'altro? Come si può risolvere questo problema? 

Hello, I have a question. I’m going on an Interrail trip for about two weeks, and most of the trains I’ll be taking require seat reservations. I was wondering whether it’s worth booking (as it can be quite expensive) or whether it’s possible to board a train without a reservation (even if it says that booking is compulsory)? Thanks in advance!

Hi, I’m trying to book from Patras to Bari and onto Sicily, Syracuse on July 27th.  My first question is that the ferry to Bari is proving difficult to book, I’m getting an error message when I try.  Has anyone had success in booking for July yet?My next question is the timetable of the boat doesn’t seem to be set, it’s due in at 9am or 10am depending on where I look.  Is it possible to hold two seat reservations, for two trains, one leaving at 11:10 and the other at 12:30?  Thank you for your help and advice, it’s very much appreciated.

We are so confused! Our booking of the night train through Rail Europe as suggested but it seems we paid the full price? And they aren’t showing on the bookings on the interrail passes we purchased. What do we do? We are also trying to book our train in the UK through interrail but that says not available to book and is asking us to book through ACP rail (but how will that be on the trip in Interrail too?) The only reservations showing at the moment are the eurostar ones. can someone please explain this - it all seems very unclear and convoluted. Should we just cancel the interrail pass and buy tickets separately? Thank you.

I am going on my first trip with the Senior Interrail Global Pass (electronic) with 5 travel days, and I am a bit nervous about whether I have installed the pass correctly. What makes me especially nervous is that I cannot see any QR code for my tickets, but maybe they are only activated when I start the journey?I have planned my trip, and I can also find it when I click on "My trip." On the "My pass" page, there is a yellow bar with the text "Add a journey." When I click on it, I am taken to the "My trip" page. Next to each trip, there is a button on the right that I can activate. My first trip is called Aarhus H – Hamburg Hbf. When I activate the button, the stages of the trip appear: Aarhus H – Fredericia and Fredericia – Hamburg Hbf. Next to these stages, there is again a button I can activate. I was thinking best would be something cheap but clean of course but maybe also a place where you might meet fellow travellers. Any recommends?

Hi there. I am a newbie to Interrailing but hoping someone can help. I have a 2nd class Interrail pass for my family and I to travel around Spain this summer. We are wanting to take the sleeper train from Paris down to Barcelona. I am keen to upgrade from a 2nd class to a 1st class sleeper as we are 4 - and with young kids I don’t want to share a cabin with 2 strangers and I’m sure nobody wants to share with us either! Is there a way to upgrade just 1 journey for the sleeper train. I’m happy to pay the extra - I just don’t know if it is even possible with the Interrail pass. Thanks!

Ik hoop maar dat een vraag hier ook in het Nederlands gesteld kan worden. Het gaat om de volgende kwestie:Op 26 mei op pad gegaan voor een trip naar Italië met een 7-daagse Interrailpas, maar al vrij kort na vertrek bleek in Duisburg dat het treinverkeer in Noordrijn-Westfalen totaal ontregeld was, met grote vertragingen en onzekerheid of er überhaupt nog iets zou gaan rijden en wanneer dan. Na ruim vier uur gewacht te hebben om te kijken of het nog mogelijk was een doorgaande trein te nemen richting Italië zonder dat er dienaangaande duidelijkheid kwam, weer terug naar huis gereisd.Daarbij is dus een Outbound journey (en een reisdag) gebruikt. De vraag luidt nu: is het mogelijk om binnenkort met een regulier treinticket naar Antwerpen te gaan en vanaf daar dan door te reizen richting Frankrijk, gebruikmakend van de resterende zes reisdagen van de 7-daagse Interrailpas? Alvast bedankt voor het antwoord.
