Where i Rail Planner do you delete a journey?

I want to take a direct train that starts in country A, crosses my country of residence (country B) and arrives in country C.Does the transit count as an inbound/outbound day, even if I stay on the train (not getting off) while transiting my CoR?My country of residence (CoR): GermanyExamples:NJ 420: Innsbruck Hbf - (crosses DE) - Amsterdam Centraal RJ 382, RJ 384: Praha hl.n. - (crosses DE) - Koebenhavn HAnd a special one:RE 48: Schaffhausen - Zürich HB (crosses DE, but stops only at CH stations)

On my upcoming trip this May, I am planning to take the train from Copenhagen to Frankfurt. My wife and I have the 1st class Global pass and we understand that we don’t need to make a reservation for this trip. However, we would like to reserve and pick our seats if possible, but it seems only the Hamburg to Frankfurt leg allows us to pick the exact seats, while the Copenhagen to Hamburg leg has automatically assigned seats even if we pay for reservation. I’ve checked this both on the DSB and DB website and it is the same for both. My question is whether the Copenhagen to Hamburg leg allows for picking exact seats closer to the date (say 2 months in advance?), or will it always be automatically assigned? If we can’t pick seats for the first leg regardless, would it make more sense to just make the whole reservation now so that I have more choices of seats for the Hamburg to Frankfurt leg? It is difficult to find an Train from Paris to Chartres in the afternoon in May. Does anybody have an idea. There are works on that route.

I have an unactivated pass whose last possible activation date was in November. I bought it in December 2024 under refund policy version 7, which provides for a 6 month period after last possible activation date to request a refund. I had purchased the Refund protection option which allows for a total refund except the cost of the option. Yet when I go to the respective order’s details page, the “Return your pass” button is not there, unlike for more recent passes that I bought on 17 December this year. How to request the refund?

We are having trouble planning our trip - this is our itinerary but when we use the interrail planning facility it does not come up with a lot of the train routes (although I know from other sites that there are trains running ) - not sure why?  Can any one help?Mon 30 March dep. I opened an account in my name. Then ordered two global plus passes for partner and I. we both downloaded the app and she loaded her pass using the code. We then planned a trip and made several reservations on trains while logged in as me on the website. These appeared on my app but not on hers. How do we get the reservation details to her phone? She does not have her own interrail account as yet. Should she just log in using my details? 

Just about to plan an Eastern Europe trip for 2026  (before Putin takes it all !).Never used Interrail before so please excuse my lack of knowledge.Can I go direct from London (my home)  to Paris on Eurostar as my first travel or should I fly to Mainland europe and work from there ?Any suggestions ad/or tips for an Eastern Europe trip beginning and ending in London would be most welcome

I want to buy a seat selection for the Bernina express. Do I just go onto ‘tickets.rhb.ch’ and pay for the seat selection of the panoramic view train. Its 40 CHF each person (which I’m happy to pay) but is that wheat I do in order to acquire the seat selection? When I click to buy the ticket I add that I have a global pass, but I just wanted to know if I need to do anything else? 

How do I know which end of a train is first- vs second class?

I purchased a rail pass yesterday but never got the email so I can’t book any seat reservations. I’ve emailled support but they say 2 days before I can expect a response.I’m freaking out because some of the trains I need to book are already showing sold out in some time slots. Is there any way I can contact someone from the company?

Hey everyone,I bought the Interrail Global Pass for youth (4 days within 1 month) last year in August. The pass says: “Activate before 6 July 2025.”What exactly does this mean?Can I theoretically activate the pass on 6 July 2025, and then the 1-month validity period starts, during which I can use my 4 travel days? So that I would have time to travel until 5 August 2025?Or do I have to complete all my travels before or on 6 July 2025, meaning that this is the last possible day I can travel?I'd really appreciate any help, thanks in advance! 😊

Was just trying to enter my trip for tomorrow into the app, but encountered a bug in the app doing so. When planning from Basel Bad to Basel SBB I only get journeys by tram, even when I apply filters to switch off trams. It is, with some filtering, possible to get options by ICE from the planner but not the SBB S6. According to the SBB app it's running, but the app refuses to show it and only entering manually works for some reason. 

HelloI will be travelling from Basel to Hamburg in the öbb nightjet on the 25th odlf december. I will be in a minicabin. Do i need to pack a sleeping bag? Also, do you have any idea qt what time they serve the included breakfast?I couldnt find these information anywhere :(Thank you! 

I have a pass and have booked Eurostar reservations but the app will not allow me to reserve this trip. Seats are now available on SNCF but Eurail gives me a ‘bad gateway’ error message. Help!

Hi Has anyone had experience of booking an overnight couchette for 2 people in France? I have a pass but my sister doesn’t but we want to share the carriage.. I’m immuno compromised so can’t risk sharing .. can’t see how to do this!!  Thanks! 

Hello everyone,My family (two adults and two children) would like to travel from Nuremberg to Brest, then on to Montpellier, and from there via Genoa to Rome, before returning to Nuremberg.We're considering first-class tickets if it would save us the cost of seat reservations.Furthermore, the Eurail website's planning software doesn't show any connections from Nuremberg to Brest. However, other websites do show connections. Do we have to plan our routes through the Eurail website, or does it not matter?And how does seat reservation work? We plan to travel round-trip from Amsterdam to Düsseldorf using a Eurail Global Pass.When we check the Rail Planner app, the travel time is shown as about 4 hours with transfers. However, on the official DB website, a direct train is shown with a travel time of about 2 hours. The results are very different.Since we are required to show the QR code in the Rail Planner app when boarding, we would like to ask:Are we allowed to take the direct train that does not appear in the Rail Planner app, or can we only use the trains shown in the app?Thank you very much for your assistance.Kind regards,

How can I get an Interrail Global Pass Adult for a certain month (July 2026)? Or isn’t that possible?
