Hi everyone! I am from Indonesia. 3 of us (incl a 16 yo child) will visit Europe next June-July, for around 3 weeks. The trip will be start from Italy (Rome, Florence, Pisa, Venice, Milan, Cinque Terre), all the way to Switzerland (we do not know yet which cities will be visitied, but most probably Lugano, Lucerne, Interlaken), Germany (Munich, Frankfurt, Heidelberg, Cologne, Hamburg, Berlin), and Austria (Innsbruck, Salzburg). We will be flying home from Munich. So, here are my questions:Is it better for us to have Eurorail Global Pass for the entire trip or selected days only (flexible pass) or just go with buying individual train ticket on the spot/website? Because there will be several days we spend in one country only, for example 5-6 nights in Italy. Just now I checked the ticket for OBB Nightjet, the rate for adding discount as Eurorail holder and no discount is the same. I wonder why. We plan to have overnight train from Innsbruck/Munich to Hamburg. If I just make the train res
Hey all, I recently purchased the Eurail Greek Island pass for 4 travel days using the Blue Star ferries. I am confused about the 30% discount. Once I have used my 4 travel days and need to book additional ferry trips, does the 30% discount apply to any ferry company that operates in Greece? Or does it only apply to the Attica group ferries (Blue star, Hellenic seaways and Superfast ferries)? Thanks in advance for the help!
I will be purchasing a Eurail Mobile Pass to explore Eastern/Central Europe. After enjoying Salzburg, can I use my Eurail Mobile Pass to book travel from Salzburg to Munich? And then ultimately back to Salzburg? Or do I need to book an individual ticket? Not sure if this border town route is included in the Eurail Mobile Pass (both to and from.) Thank you for taking the time….
I tried booking seat reservations from Paris to Amsterdam but it isn't working it keeps popping up with Prices unavailable No price results were found. Pass holder reservations may be sold out for this connection, but there are other ways to check for available seats—more info below our timetable But this has been the same for all trains i have searched. doesn’t matter the country, filters, trains or times none are letting me book any seat reservations.
I have tried numerous times to upload my trip to my travel day tomorrow but no button appears on the trip to add to my pass. I have made a reservation for one of the trains as necessary but I don’t know what to do now. It was working fine for the previous travel days.
So basically, I am a UK resident, and I managed to get a free 7 day pass with the scheme run by the EU. I have decided that I want to purchase an additional pass to get some more travel days, probably another 7 day pass. However, since I do a lot of rail travel within the UK, I have noticed that I can purchase a 10 day pass for about £60 more than the 7 day pass - since I will have 2 passes, and I am currently only using one outbound and one inbound journey on my pass, I will have an outbound and an inbound day of travel left over, so I was wondering if I could then use these two days to travel around the UK, most likely starting and ending these trips at the same station (which is most likely Reading or Oxford, which are arguably close to airports) but if necessary I could say use it on a very circuitous route from Reading to Heathrow and then purchase a ticket to get back to Reading Essentially, the question is does the outbound/inbound journey have to be a journey on the fastest rout
I’ve plan to go to Lugano from Milano Centrale and on that day I’ll use Eurail for Italy. And I’ll take Train RE80 from Milano Centrale to Lugano at 12:43 on 02.Jan.2023So I cannot find this train in timetable.Dose it means, I cannot take this train? or I can take but no need to reserve a seat? Thanks.
I have a train booking from Munich - Venice via OBB nightjet 1 December 11pm. We were only notified recently that Italy will be having strikes on 1 December 9pm - 2 December 9pm. Will this affect our train? Have called up OBB but they do not have any further details on this. Should we still go ahead with boarding the train? Can't imagine getting stuck on the train for 15 hours till the strike ends at 9pm...
HiCan you still travel by interrail from London via Paris Zurich to Istanbul with a 15-day ticket? And how good is the Belgrade-Sofia connection? ..does this go directly? and in which trains do I have to make reservations? Does the train also stop in Ljubljana? and how about changing money does it all work locally in the respective countries? Thanks in advance if anyone can answer this.Maybe someone has already made this trip. I want to drive the red route. See picture
When looking for a train between Lund central and Copenhagen before the 10th of December you can take the Öresundståg without reservation but after the 10th of December that is no longer an option and you have to take a SJ high-speed train (for which I have to make a reservation, but I can't make a reservation through interrail, so I want to avoid it). I checked a local traffic app (Skånetraffiken), so I know the Öresundståg is still operational. So can I trust that the interrail pass works on the Öresundståg eventhough its not in the timetable or what is going on?
I used my homeward and outward trip in homeland. So I need to buy a ticket now to the border, but train does not stop at the border. Do I need a ticket to the last station in homeland, to the first stop in Belgium or to the border station where the train does not stop?
