A train that does not require seat reservation at all?

Hi, im travelling from amsterdam to Decin Hlavni Nadrazi with multiple train changes. I already paid for reservation from Amsterdam to Hannover Hbf (since it’s recommended). However, there is a 4 hours train after that (Hannover Hbf > Dresden Hbf) in the journey that the eurail planner does not show seat reservation recommended. Am i guaranteed a seat on this train? Since I don’t want to stand up throughout the 4h train journey. I attached the screenshot for reference.

Night trains compartments on train Mannheim to Prague

Hello, I am trying to reserve beds for me and my family (2 adults, 2 children) on the night train EN40459 between Mannheim and Prague on the 1st of August. On the nightjet website it says that there are no offers available for "Couchette carriage", but for "sleeper cabin", but it only includes compartments for a maximum of 3 people (we are 4) and separated by gender. Is there no chance that the four of us can share a single compartment? Also, the price is quite expensive (€276) considering that we already have an Interrail pass. Thank you very much for your answers

Night train Mannheim - Prague

Hi! I want to book two sleeper cabin for 2 (separate by gender) in order to be me and our son in one compartment, and my wife and our daughter in other one (first screenshot). But when I’m gonna pay, this warning appears (second screenshot). I guess it means that we all four are not gonna be in the same compartment, that is gonna be two in one compartment, and two in the other one. Is that correct? It does’nt mean that, for example, my son is not gonna sleep in the same compartment as me, right?

Student ID / Enrollment Letter as Residency Document

Hey, I live and study in the netherlands but I don't have a official rental agreement and I´m not officially registered in the netherlands. Is it possible to use my student ID / Proof of enrolment as a official residency document, so I can choose netherlands as my country of residence? We travel with two persons and booked the passes in one account and already made reservations for the nighttrain in thi account.The support says, it is possible that each traveler uploads his pass on his own mobile in the Mobile Pass App.Question….Can we also upload the already booked group seat reservations on two mobiles für each traveler?If not, what should we do the best?

Uncertainty about travelling days for global pass

Dear experienced travellers, I am planning a trip to Italy this summer with my family by train, but have some uncertainties about the travelling days/planning. Hopefully anyone in this community can help me with some advice. Our plan is to travel from our homecity 's-Hertogenbosch in the Netherlands to Rome for a week or so, than to a small city underneath Napels (to visit Napels, the Vesuvius and Pompei) for a few days and then return home. My most important question, are the outward and inward journey to our homecountry included in the 4 days of the 'global pass 4 days'?A bit more explanation with the schedule for our first trip from home to Rome (:-)) that would look something like this:20.09u Departure 's-Hertogenbosch 23.44u Arrival Koblenz 00.49 Departure Koblenz 06.20 Arrival Basel 06.28 Departure Basel 10.40u Arrival Milano 10.58u Departure Milano 14.10 Arrival Roma If I understand correctly, this will mean two travelling days. Frecciarossa to Messina

hello everyone my wife and I are flying into Lamezia on 21 September and will then take the Frecciarossa to Messina leaving Lamezia Centrale at 1730, train #9583. My question is this: does the train go to Messina or do we have get off the train in Villa San Giovanni and make our own way to the ferry port? We do have a rail pass. When I was looking for trains to add to our trip, I entered Messina Centrale and this train came up as going to Messina. Does it really go to Messina?

Seat Reservations

I have made seat reservations for 2 of the train rides I will be making internationally with my Eurail Global Pass for 2 months. However, some trains say I do not need to purchase a reservation. Will I be able to board the train still? How will I know the train will not be booked at the time I would like to board. Also, since my pass covers 10 rides within 2 months, how do I make sure that I use this pass for those train tickets? I am very lost.

Extend the validity of my pass for the next year

Hi, I bought my pass (2 months) the last year but I have until the 10 july 2023 to activate it. Since, my plans are changed, this year I am in formation and I would like to know if :I can be refunded ? or, if I can extand the validity of my pass one year more (even paying a fee) or, if I can sell it in internet ? Pass day limits

I’m thinking of getting a 4 day interrail pass and go from Soderhamn (Sweden) to Copenhagen. This will be a 19.5 hrs trip (from 2pm-9.30 am the next morning) does this count as 1 or 2 travel days? I then want to go from Copenhagen to Oslo which is a 30-40 hour trip depending on what trains I take. By doing this, would I have gone over my 4 day pass?

where to sit in non mandatory reservation trains

I have no seat number attributed because the reservation is not mandatory, but it seems like other passengers have sit reservations so I’m wondering where to sit so I don’t take there seats. in my case, I’m travelling through Czeck Republic, Germany, Danemark, Sweden and Norway.thank you !

I am planning to travel Stockholm to Trondheim on June 8th. but at present the Vy & Sj timetable show it is bus replacemet service from Duved-Stolien-Trondheim.Sockholm-Duved Train 80Duved-Storlien Bus 571Storlien-Trondheim Bus 71The Interrail planner will only show the train part of the trip Stockholm-Duved. Mid June I’m on my last trip within my 3months Global Pass: Scotland-Northern Ireland-Ireland-England. After staying in Edinburgh I plan to use the connection (train, bus and ferry) to Belfast (via Glasgow, Ayr, Cairnryan), run by Scotrail. Is it correct that no reservations are necessary and I just have to show my Global Pass online ticket?
