We are 1st class Eurail Global pass holders. Seat reservations are required departing 11 May 2024. I have looked on the SNCF page and cannot find a place to enter my Eurail pass details. Please help.

Trying to escape the UK to Paris via London and Eurostar. London/Paris leg - no problem. All my local deps to London are “ seat reservations needed” and the system will not let me add this leg to the trip. Virgin Trains seat res. is NOT on the Eurail system. Stuck in a loop.

Hey all, thanks for taking time to read my question. I am planning to travel from my home country Germany to Spain this summer. I'd like to use the global pass. For reaching Paris I have to go by two trains within Germany on my departure date. Does that fit the Interrail regations? Or am I allowed to use the Pass for one of the two trains (on one day) only? hello, please help with this itinerary:1.arrive Zurich airport- go WENGEN for 5nites,2.then travel  to  VARENNA italy 4nites ,3.then travel to COLMAR FRANCE 4nites4. back to zurich airport flight homeWith this itinerary,  should I buy eurail global pass or Swiss Travel Pass? Is my itinerary doable? thanks 😊

Hi!As I’ve read in earlier posts the trains in the Balkans are quite tricky. I wondered if anyone could help me while I’m planning my trip.I would like to go from Split (Croatia) to Bosnia, preferably Mostar, and from Bosnia to Montenegro. How would you make this journy? Is it possible to go by train or do we have to go by bus? Is it unnecessary for me to by an interrail pass?

I have purchased pass for 7 days now my plan changed and wish to extend for 10 days I haven’t used my pass yet Possible to extend 

When I connect to Wifi or mobile data and search the trains from Heidelburg to Trier in Rail Planner it returns no results (see screenshot 1), but if I disconnect from Internet and search again many trains can be found (see screeshot2). How do I solve this or is it only possible to search trains offline? 

Hi, I’m wanting to book the night train from Stockholm to Berlin on 7th July, SJ are slow to release tickets, it looks like track work is planned. On their website they say tickets are released until 2nd June so far but when I’ve looked it says ‘not available’ even for then.Does anyone know if the track works are likely to impact the night trains? I’m mindful that I want to travel on a Sunday night too which may be an issue?I’m wondering if I should just booked with Snälltåget instead, but the reservation costs are a lot higher.Thanks 😊

Hello Interrailers. Would appreciate any info. on what Interrail discounts (or free on a travel day) are available for ferries/boats for short(ish) river/lake trips. I saw one Community post about Lake Constance, but the links are now outdated and the bsb.de site doesn't seem to have specific info. re. Interrail (that I can find in English). I will be on a GP in July visiting Salzburg, Munich, Black Forest, Metz, Ghent-Oostende, Amsterdam/NL, Magdeburg (Elbe?), Prague and leave from Vienna. If anyone has done any water trips in any of these areas I'd love to know what trips my 2 teens and I could take to connect even just 2 cities (e.g. Lindau-Friedrichshafen on a Munich day trip loop). Hi everyone, We are planning to purchase the 3 day interrail one country pass for swizerland as we will be most travelling within swiss. However, we are also planning to visit  Liechtenstein from Zurich. So are we able to use the interail one country pass (Swiss) to travel to Liechtenstein? Is this covered? Thanks in advance.

Hello Community,  I've bought several pass reservations for ICN and TGV trains in France thru several channels (interrail.eu reservation service,  sncf hotline, sncb and DB).It was necessary in all cases to specify names and birth dates except for pass reservations ordered at DB Reisezentrum. These reservations are on ticket paper and didn't require personal details. Should I be worried that these tickets from DB are accepted? SNCF hotline said that passenger name registration is required by law for all long distance trains in France.How will I get access to the station and pass the gates with these paper tickets issued by DB without any QR code?

Hi Community. I have asked several questions already and the responses have been extremely helpful. I have a question that may seem basic to those far more EURAIL savvy than me. We have a Global Pass 1st class and will take the train from Paris Gare de Lyon to Mulhouse TGV6705. I have a confirmed seat reservation. My question is about the arrival experience. When I arrive at the station, what do I do? Do I have to pass through a turnstile or do I make my way directly to the train? If I have to pass through a turnstile, how do I manage this as my EURAIL pass is on my phone. Thank you for your assistance in advance. Hopefully I have been clear about my question. 

I’ve just been ticket checked on a Railjet between Innsbruck & Kufstein.Sitting in First Class (not Business) with a first class pass.The guard insisted I should have paid a supplement of €15 for any Railjet journey. He said he’d let me off, since it was a short journey.I’m pretty sure he’s wrong, and the supplement only applies in Business Class? Or has something changed recently?

First time users of a Eurail pass as Seniors on a 10 Day out of 2 month pass with first class seating. I have downloaded the RailPlanner app and added my pass to that> We fly into Frankfurt on the morning of 25th April and intentions to jump a train straight to ParisSo few questions, of probably manyDo I add my wifes pass to her phone or can both be on mine,,just wondering as I will need to book seats and unsure whether to book one on each phone or both on one phoneWe are hoping to get a Train around 8.30am from Frankfurt airport and from what I can see it goes via Mannerheim and then we take the express to Paris> it seems that I have to book seats from Mannerheim into Paris and pay the fee. Is the Eurail only site that we can do this or are their other online apps that we can add the passes too ?Thats the first question,,next day we are off to Nice,,so one step at a timeWe dont really need to go to Paris its just that it seems

Hi, I traveling to Paris to Bruxelles-CentralCheck the website , able to see the schedule of the from Rail Europe website, telling me I can’t the website unable to provide the bookng. Any advice how do I able to book seats via Euro Star?  

I’m trying to travel from Amsterdam to Barcelona on March 13 using my Eurail pass.  So far I plan to use IC trains (without seat reservation) between Amsterdam and Brussels-Midi, then TGV (with seat reservation) between Brussels-Midi and Lyon Part Dieu (with seat reservations).  However, for the last leg, between Lyon and Barcelona, I cannot figure out how to reserve seats ahead of time.  I’ve looked at eurail.com and b-europe.com, and I’ve called Renfe and SNCF.  Renfe tells me that I can only get the seat reservations in person at the train office.  That seems like a bad idea considering our time will be limited.  SNCF told me to call Renfe.  The forums in this community indicate that it’s difficult, but apparently not impossible?  Help!

Here is my quick overview of my travel plan.  Please advise which pass is applicable as I check from Eurail site, it says 5 travel days.   Day 1Journey 1: Paris - Gelsenkirchen (Germany) within the same dayJourney 2: Gelsenkirchen (Germany) - Berlin within the same day Day 2 (not consecutive from day 1)Journey 3: Berlin - Konstanz within the same day Day 3 (not consecutive from day 2)Journey 4: Konstanz - Zurich within the same day But system says that I have 5 travel days, which is very surprising to me.   Your help would be appreciated

Hi all, trying to book my son and his friend tickets from Paris Gare Du Nord to St Pancras and I am being offered an option of the TGV to Lille, as opposed to a route that takes them directly from Paris to London.Is this an option I can select? How tricky is it to change at Lille to catch the Eurostar? Thanks in advance.

Hi To allI am travelling throughout Europe from the 1st to the 21st of July 2024… so my pass ends on the 21st of July when I'm travelling home to Manchester … is this still a valid pass day up to 12 midnight on the 21st ?Also when I buy my pass do I activate it the day before travel …. It will be a Global pass 10days in 2 months, I’m doing 10 days trains in 21 days…. Hope you can helpRegards Greeny

Hello, I will be traveling from Florence, Italy to Paris, then from Paris to Barcelona.  I have 6 days in which to do this and would like to take the train.  I was looking at the Eurail 7 day pass.  Would this be the best option for me and my parents?  Not sure how long a trip from Florence to Paris, then from Paris to Barcelona by trian.  Any information is greatly appreciated. Thank you

HI,This is our itinerary for a family of 3 adults and a child.Aug 11: Geneva-Interlaken Aug 12: Interlaken -ZurichAug 14: Zurich -SalzburgAug 16: Salzburg-VIennaAug 19: Vienna -Prague4 questions:Is a 7 day Eu-rail the right choice or something less is possible? Best option for Jungfraujoch -is that train from Interlaken and is this covered by Eurail pass? Is reservation necessary on any route during this time which is peak summer? Wondering if a rental car is an option on any part of this itinerary for more flexibility. I suspect eurail pass will be less expensive but please suggest. 

I was going to take the train from Oslo to Stockholm on March 23.I had reserved and paid for my hotel in advance for my stay in Stockholm. Everything seemed fine, but when I arrived at the platform, I find out that the train would be 160 minutes delay.Since it was cold, I wanted to wait at the station instead of waiting on the platform. I didn't leave the station for 2 hours. When I went to the platform again 2 hours later, I could not see any information about the Stockholm train.Since it was late, the information desk was closed, so I went to the security guard and asked about the situation.The officer said that a lot of people like me had the same problem and that they did not know what happened to the train.After waiting for about 1 more hour, we learned that the train arrived early and left without any information.This train was the last train to Stockholm for 23 March. So there was no other train I could take and I was stranded in Oslo
