Hi, I've been trying for days to book a seat for a train from trieste to lubiana but unfortunately from interrail.eu for days now it doesn't give me any availability, even changing train day and time. It seems as if the site is no longer enabled to make reservations for trains in italy. Has anyone had the same problem? do you know how I can pranotare on another site? ItaliaRail doesn't because it only provides trains in italy and I'm supposed to get from trieste to lubiana, while obb only provides trips with more than one day.

Myself and my friend are travelling to Berlin for 2 nights and are looking for recommendations for hostels in Berlin please.We had thought about Circus Hostel but it has a minimum stay of 3 nights.

Need to get to Chamonix and all routes are taking me through Switzerland. Is this covered on my France eurail pass? If not, do I just need to buy a ticket for the portions of the trip that aren’t covered? 

hello, I am from Canada, and I am planning a trip to Germany this October. Is covid pass still required to enter Europe? Do I need to wear my mask in train? Are we allowed to bring our own snack, and eat in long distance train? Should I get the who covid pass? 

I heard I could travel to multiple destinations in a day with eurail pass. So my question is, how do I activate my ticket for that occasion? Also how would that look if I had to reserve seat for those trips?  I am planning on trip leaving from koblenz to trier, then back to koblenz within a day.So in this case, with eurail, is there a day pass ticket where I just activate it, and I am good for that day, or would I have to activate ticket going from koblenz to trier, and activate another ticket for the return trip back to koblenz?   

I live in Canada. Next year I’d like travel through Europe with my 35 pound mixed bulldog starting in London and ending up in Athens. For the leg to London I will be of course flying. For the rest of the journey I’m considering different options (including Eurail) with a focus on pet friendliness.  My dog must be physically next to me as I travel. It can be leashed but not locked away somewhere in a cage.  I will also require stops where I can get off for a few minutes for my dog to relieve itself. (no longer than 4 hours between stops I have no problem paying extra for my dog to travel on trains in seat next to me. My vacation isn’t just for me. I want my dog to have fun too not treated like a parcel being delivered.. I have no issue arranging my trip along a route where different trains can meet the above requirements Is there some sort of online resource or specific Eurail pet support line that can help me plan the specifics of my trip? Hi, from Italy station tell me that with global pass I can't go to Paris from Italy. Is it true? I read that is possible to take an Italian train from Italy to Paris. Let me know ,thanks.

I have train travel booked in Italy on the 13/07 (Interlaken to Milan via Domodossola). However I’ve just discovered there are national rail strikes planned in Italy for that day. The Domodossola - Milan train is still bookable on the Trenitalia site - does this mean it will still run, or is it likely to be cancelled last minute? Alternatively I’m considering booking a train that goes direct from Switzerland to Milan - does anyone know if these sorts of strikes affect inbound international services? Thanks in advance!

So confused. We have planned a 5 week trip to 5 countries. We know how long we are staying at each location. Should we make all our trip reservations in the Rail Planner now before we leave?  We are pretty firm on our travel dates but if something happens will we be able to change the reservation?Thanks. 

Hi!I’ve bought a interrail pass for France for me and my two friends. In the app we’ve reservated al the trains we need and used all our travel days. But we didn’t pay for the seat reservations yet. I don’t see an option to do so in the app, and I do have QR codes for the travel days. Do I still need to make the seat reservations and pay for them, and if yes: how do I do that?Thanks in advance (:Kind regards,Hester

Hi All. I have an issue which has given me quite the headache, and for which Interrail has been completely useless in answering so I thought I would try here. Has anyone recently travelled with Interrail which had a UK residence but was a citizen of another EU country?I am very interested in finding out what constitute as proof of UK residency for train inspectors (especially Eurostar if anyone tried), if the pass says you are UK resident but your passport is from somewhere else from EU or Europe (mine is from Romania). Does anyone know?Many thanks.Paul

Hi, me and my friends are on a trip and we bought the interrail pass a week's ago and we have some problems in booking seats from Ljubljana to Budapest 17 of July at 00:30 and from Amsterdam to London 26 of July at 13:47We have already payed the hostels there and we have to took that trains.Can anyone solve us this problem please. 

Hi we are having a 10 weeks holiday in Europe September-November this year, and we have brought a 2 month Eurail Pass.I am trying to book a train from Besancon (France) to Paris - this is to connect with a ticket we have on the Eurostar leavin Paris on the 12th October at 1313 hours. according to SCNF and several site they are several trains leaving Besancon between 0600 and 1000 hours, however when I try to book the reservation with travel.b-Europe.com. They are only showing bookings for a early 0600 hour train, or it jumps than to a train in the evening around 1900 hour. would this indicate that the trains I between these times are fully booked thank you 

Hello!I’ve Been trying to book Barcelona To Paris on August 26th and I can’t reserve any seats. It looks like there are trains available but when I try to book they become unavailable. Does this means the train is fully booked for Eurail pass holders? There is availability on many of them if you want to buy full price. Should I change my route or is there any solution? Are there seats left to reserve at the train station that doesn’t appear online ? Thanks everybody! 

Hey I am looking for ferries from Greece to Italy.I couldn’t find any ferries that departure on Saturday so my question is if I did something wrong while searching or if they just don’t want departure on that day?

Ich dachte das verhält sich wie eine Dauerfahrkarte für den ganzen Monat. Ich habe letzte Woche eine kleine zugfahrt gemacht und dabei angegeben reise ins Ausland/Wohnsitzland. Jetzt heißt es für weitere Fahrten muss ich eine separate Fahrkarte kaufen. Ich bin gerade etwas aufgeschmissen wofür habe ich so viel bezahlt doch nicht für 10 Euro Fahrten zum Nachbarort? 

Hello friends, I'm from Australia and first time in Europe this coming summer and first time using a 15 day global pass. I managed to reserve seats on Eurail for my first legs from Amsterdam to London then to Paris and added these as travel days but i couldn't reserve Paris to Barcelona train on 26/06. I checked everyday for the last few months and never could reserve any :(. So i bought full price tickets on SNCB website because i didn't want to leave it too late and the trains will be sold out. Should i have done that? I feel like Eurail doesn't work. Even putting in trains from Barcelona to Madrid the reservation doesn't work so I bought tickets on Renfe. My question is do I need to add these tickets i bought via SNCB and Renfe as travel days in my global pass? Any advice will be greatly appreciated. 

Hello Fellow Travellers, I am intending to travel from Milan Centrale to Spiez Station, I will be having a EU Rail Pass and Swiss Travel Pass. My question is that if I take a one country pass for Italy is it possible that I use that pass till Domodossola and for the journey further can I use the Swiss Travel Pass.Loving this community already. Thanks

I’m travelling from Haute-Savoie to Barcelona. TGV for part of the leg, already reserved seats. I’m getting conflicting advice about booking the TER though - do I need to reserve a ticket or not? I know that booking seats is not necessary.

Planning to buy 1st or 2nd class Eurail pass for family trip (including 1 child who has special needs). Arriving July 20, 14:00 at Milan.  We want to go to Lucerne (or Zurich) for 2 days, and then to Munich on July 22. Trying to figure out a scenic, but not overly time-consuming route to avoid child’s or parent’s meltdown. I know it could be extremely hot, and most Swiss hotels there don’t have a/c, so the happier we arrive in Lucerne, the better (hopefully). Does this seem like the best route:MXP to Milan Central to Lugano (stay overnight in Lugano or go directly to Lucerne?)Lugano to Lucerne (regional train instead of Gotthard Panoramic, but find a train on the Old Gotthard track). Having a hard time on the Swiss rail site because it keeps giving errors and unsure how to book a good boat to get to Lucerne and still have time to go to one of the mountain tops like Pilatus or Rigi.

Very new to this! I’m trying to take my family of 5 from Toulouse to Paris on 22 July. We all have Eurail Passes. When I try to reserve a TGV train, at the very end of the process it fails, without explanation. Are reservations all booked up? So what is the best way to get from Toulouse to Paris by train on 22 July, 2023?
