I have a first class global pass. I use interrail for the first time. When I want to use a nighttrain (euronight or IC) sometimes it seems that there's no first class, so I have to make a reservation for second class. Does anybody know how to handle? I can't find this in information. Thanks. 

I added an outbound journey from my COR to my pass, this was for London to Brussels. when I arrived to get on the eurostar, they said I could not board as I did not reserve a seat. Interrail app did not suggest I needed a reservation for this train time.I have now had to book onto another outbound journey tomorrow, but it will use up 2/2 outbound inbound journeys.What am I to do when I need to return to my COR at the end of my trip?  

I commanded a ticket on April 9 2023 for 7 days within one Month  starting 1st June2023 I used this ticket for 4 Trips between 1. and 9. June and arrived in Nantes La Baule France. There I spent some days with a friend and I did not use my Smartphone because I had no possibilty to charge it and we had no Internet Connection. When I wanted to look at my ticket some days later, I read that it was expired. For continuing my trip to Bordeaux and for my trip back to munich I had to buy new tickets and I got big troubles in the train. I could only show my reservations to the controller but I had no valid ticket on my smartphone.How can I get my money back?

First Time user of Eurail. I will be in Europe for about 15 days holiday as a single traveler, we used the planner on the app to find the 7 train journeys I need to take, and we saved each one as a my trip (I have 10 days over 2 months) but now I look at it, we connected the first My Trip to the pass, even managed to work out how to get a seat reservation, because as per the instructions we read it had a slide switch to connect it to the pass. None of the other 6 my trips seem to have this slide switch??? I haven’t reserved seats yet on the other journeys, is that why there is no slider switch?? I need to take the other 6 journeys during my 15 days in Europe.I can’t understand, there doesn't seem to be any useful instructions. Please help, my next journey is in 3 days. 

Hello! I won the free interrail ticket for Germans to travel to France (for 7 days, valid until the end of this year, was offered by the Government). Now my questions:Can i give/sell this pass to someone else or can i exclusively use it because it contains my name? How much would a comparable interrail ticket cost for 7 days for France? Thank you!

Hi,my son, 19,  booked flights from canada to London for travel after his first year university summer term , which is ending august 19. So he has about 10 days to travel before new semester starts. Should I buy him a Eurail pass for 10 days? Which country should be on his list for a first time young explorer? Will someone here recommend safe hostel websites ?

I have added the nightjet tickets/journey to our interrail app and passes . We have reservations for a couchette and these are on my obb app. Is there a way to add to the interrail app or not? Thanks! 

I am trying to plan a trip between Brussels and Amsterdam. When I look at the return trains, the interrail website for the IC train (longer journey) says that seat reservations are needed but at the same time that I am ready to board. What does that mean? I can’t find that train in other websites like I could with Thalys trains.

How early should I add ‘my trip’ route on the Rail Planner app? For instance, suppose I arrive at Colmar and spent some time there, and then incidentally decide to leave to Switzerland with the train which is supposed to leave soon (like 5-10 minutes). Is it okay to add the train on ‘my trip’ on the Rail Planner app and use it?  In case I arrive in Milano at 11:40am, and would like to transfer a train to Venezia, is it okay to make seat reservation when I arrive in Milano on the day? If my condition is good, then I would visit Milano four 3-4 hours, and then ride a train to Venezia. However, if my co-travellers do not feel like visiting Milano and transfer directly to Venezia, can I make seat reservation and ride the train on the spot? It is going to be on 9, Aug.  Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.  

I bought 4 days Eurail pass, and I haven’t used it yet. I added my possible trips on Rail Planner app as follows since I haven’t decided what time I will leave Strasbourg, either 08:21(red) or 08:51 (blue), and what time I will leave Colmar, either at 13:53 or 15:53. My question is this:1. Can I choose one of the times (between red and blue) right before the train time? If I choose red time slot, then what happens to the blue time slot? All those possible trips I added is on the same day.2. How far ahead should I add my trip on the Rail Planner app. Is it okay to add my trip just before the train time? (For instance, even like 5 minutes ahead is okay?3. What should I do with the yellow hightlighted area? If I activate one of those things, and do not use the others, what happens?4. I haven’t used Eurail pass before. So I don’t exactly know how to use it. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much in advance. 

Hi, We are travelling in July & August. We have a days travel in July and 5 days in August, does that mean I need to book 6 days in one month of 6 days in two months?

I have a 4-days greek island pass, I already registered in the App. I booked 3 ferry trips through the Blue Star Ferries website and they have sent me the Reservation Number and Access Codes for each trip. How can I enter this data in the App?My first trip is on September 2, from Athens to Naxos, and I can't find that route in "My Trip" of the App, although I know it exists and the pass was validated in the reservation.Thanks for the help!

Having trouble with my tickets, I don’t want a refound, I’d like the possibility to purchase in the right amount. I purchase via eurail website and received this emails. I still don’t have my money back or could purchase the ticket. When I try to purchase it shows the same price and say that this purchase its already loading

Hello, I have reserved seats for inOui TGV via Interrail in an SNCF station. The thing is that my pass is second class, but I have checked and the seat reservation tickets that the guy at the station gave me are 1st class. Is there a problem with that? Should I return the tickets?

I want to make a seat reservation for trains from Nice to Barcelona. I couldn’t book a reservation for train from Nimes to Barcelona. I know that I can do it on train station in Spain, but I’m affraid I won’t be able to do that, because it will be fully booked, so I want to make reservation now. Do you have any ideas how to do it? Is it possible to book in via online site or phone call? The same question goes for train from Narbonne to Barcelona. 

Is there a Interrail discount applicable for a trip with a cabin from Venice to Patras on Anek lines? Or does the discount just apply to a deck seat?

Hey! Me and my friends went on an interrail last summer and one of us lost the paper pass and since we had pass protection he bought a new pass for the days that were left. Since last summer, we've sent a few emails and we've already filled the lost pass forms but we didn't get a response till now! Can anyone help us?

Hello, Im trying to buy a ticket from Munich to Prague but there is no seat reservation. I can only see a warning message “Reservation temporarily unavailable”. So is it normal? I don’t know it is okay to take a train without seat reservation. I should take a train with my family , and they have each suitcase. I’m afraid that we should move frequently whenever a person who has reserved a seat arrives. Is there a no reservation function at all? Can anyone who came first take a seat?

Hi Everyone me and my fiancé are going to be in Amsterdam in 2025 but we are trying to figure out what is gonna be the best rail pass for our trip. We will be traveling for 2 weeks and are planning on having our home base in Amsterdam and taking day trips to Rotterdam, Giethoorn, The Haugue, Brussels, and Cologne. I have only been to Europe once and we went to Ireland but we rented a car so I am very new to the whole train system thing. Please any advice or tips would be really appreciated!

Hi everyone, I'm Raffaella and I'm Italian, I'm new in this community and I'd like to know some specific informations about the trip that I'm going to do. Two of my friends live in Brescia but they must come to Brindisi ( the city where I live) so that we can go from Brindisi to Patras using a ferry, now the prblem is: Is the train from Brescia to Brindisi included in the Global pass or the ferry from Brindisi to Patras it's the only to be included ? The same problem remains for the return journey, so Patras Brindisi and Brindisi Brescia.Thanks a lot if you answer the question and have a good day!
