I have bought pass last year, and it still not activated. I have one month to activate my 2 month pass, but now I work full time and cannot travel. Is that possible to transfer this pass to another person? Or may I refund that?

bonjour, sur l'application il est marqué qu'une réservation d'un train est obligatoire puis quand je vais sur le site pour réserver une place, le site me dit que la réservation pour ce train n'est pas obligatoire, que cela est pris en charge par le pass. L'appli et le site se contredisent, comment savoir si cela est obligatoire ou non au final ?

Hello, it’s the first time I would use interrail to travel and I have few quesiton to know how it works better: part of my travel would need to go from Porto to Geneva, than back to Porto again, to leave for slovenia after few weeks. is it possible to do back and forth in the same cities ? or you are allowed to stop only once in one city? 

Hi. I would like to book an overnight train from Mannheim to Prague, at 23:42 on 20 August. The Deutsche Bahn website has two train references for the same time: EN40459 and EC459 (see screenshot below). The EN train has couchettes and the EC train has seats only. The times are the same and, I guess, are actually the same train but with different sections for couchettes/seats. The Eurail booking/reservation system shows only the EN train, and requires reservations, but there are no spaces available for that either through the Eurail website or through the Deutsche Bahn website. Spaces on the EC train are available, and I would like to reserve that, but that train does not appear in the Eurail booking system so I cannot add it to my pass. I would be grateful if anyone has any ideas how I can add the EC459 train to my Eurail pass, or otherwise how I might make this work? Thanks,BK   

Hallo zusammen, Ich bin am 20.05.2023 in Barcelona mit einem Kumpel gewesen. Wir wollten mit dem Zug um 10.33 Uhr über Paris nach Barcelona fahren.  Leider ist der Zug ausgefallen und es gab keine Alternative als den Flixbus. Interrail kam mit den Erstattungen der Reservierungen sehr entgegen. Wir bleiben aber aktuell über die Zusatzkosten des alternativen Verkehrsmittels sitzen und kamen außerdem 12 Stunden zu spät an. Ist hier Interrail oder SNCF zuständig?  Interrail verweist auf SNCF bezüglich der Zusatzkosten durch den Flixbus. SNCF weist darauf hin, dass nicht über die SNCF gebucht wurde. Bleibt man als Interrail-Kunde auf den Zusatzkosten sitzen oder gibt es einen Link wohin man sich wenden kann?  Ich danke für die Hilfe im Voraus.

I have planned most of my trip which starts at the end of June.  I have 3 days open to stay somewhere and was considering Pula, Rijeka or Umag Croatia.  I was wondering if it is possible to use a Eurail pass to go from Bled, Slovenia to either of those 3 destinations or if it is mostly by bus.  Also was wondering if there is any train service from either of those locations to Milan, Italy.  Thank you.

Hi Everyone,  I will be traveling this summer from Copenhagen to Hamburg (Deutsche Bahn or DB), Hamburg to Strasbourg (DB), Strasbourg to Toulouse (DB + SNCF), and finally Toulouse to Barcelona (SNCF + R3). I have the Eurail Global pass. My question is, in DB and SNCF trains is seat reservation mandatory? In the Eurail application, it shows “reservation required” on most trains, which is strange, because when reading through the https://www.seat61.com/interrail-and-eurail-reservations.htm#eurail-interrail-reservations-service it seemed that except for some high-speed trains like TGV, etc seat reservation is not mandatory although is advised. One can just hop on, choose an empty seat and show the pass. I would hate to land in problems while traveling and pay hefty fines. It would be great if some of you could help me with your experience. I have a 4 days Global pass and I live in Italy. I want to Travel from Italy to Austria and when I am in Austria I want to Travel a few Days Only in Austria and then go back to Italy. Is this possible?

Today my trip was suddenly no longer connected too my trip with name XEurope-CK. I went to my pass to connect it again to this trip but apparently I did something wrong as it connected to the standard ‘Mytrip’. Does anyone know how I can disconnect from this wrong ‘Mytrip’ so I can reconnect again to the proper XEurope-CK?As I am already traveling for 2 months I do not want to start a new trip.Thanks for helping out.Kind regards,Karel

Hello, i am currently interrailing with my girlfriend and so far weve been to krakow and budapest and currently staying in belgrade. We are planning to take the train to bar from here but i am a bit lost on where to go from there... Je n'ai pas encore activé le pass mais j'ai réservé des billets, obb nightjet pour faire Paris vienne et ils sont sous format papier, les billets papier doivent être mis dans l'application ou non ?Et peut on activer nos 4 pass sur nos deux portables ?  (2 adultes et 2 enfants)Merci d'avance pour votre aide.Cordialement,Laure

When travelling to a different time zone and having to add the journey manually, what arrival time are you supposed to enter? The local time in the country you’re arriving in or the time it is the departing country? 

Hello! I saw on the website that Latvia and Estonia are included in the 33 Global Pass countries. However, when I try to plan my trip on the Rail Planner app Riga and Tallin aren't between the options to choose from. Why is that?

I would like to book trains to go from Paris to Kolari (Finland).The planner answers “Can’t find any trains ...”It looks weird because on the map download from the Interrail website, I can find the way.Do I have to use an other website (Finland or Sweden Railway Companies websites ?)Thank youFranck
