2 reservations one from Prague to Krakow and one from Budapest to Zagreb have to be sent by post and I have to pay for it!!! It does not come to my house, I would have to give the address of some accommodation. Has anyone been through this?! it is not possible to send it by email????!

Hiya, first time eurail user here. I reserved two seats from Paris to Lyon. The tickets showed a cart number and a seat number. However when we got on the train (which was very rushed as it was late and there was no staff to help) there was no cart number which matched the ticket. We hopped on one of the carts and tried to at least walk through and find our seat number but our seat didn’t exist (we were seats 113 and 114 and the numbers on the train went straight from 112 to 115. We ended up just sitting on the floor of the stairs. Any idea how this happened?? As I was under the impression buying a seat reservation guaranteed you a seat on the train. Thanks!!Emily 

How to add Öresund trains to my pass since they do not show in the rail planner please? I want to travel from Copenhagen to Goteborg and to Oslo. I cannot find them in the rail planner. I understood I do not need a reservation. Thanks.

The italy rail announced a trike in May 26th.We have booked the hotel in Arezzo 25th. We originally plan to take the early train (RV train no reservation required) from Arezzo to Roma, however this train has been canceled and we have booked the flight from Roma to our homecountry. So we have to make a reservation for another train due to this strike. We are wondering if the reservation fee (the reseravation fee in italy is expensive 10euro each person) can be reimbursed in this case? Many thanks for the help!!!

Hi, im travelling from amsterdam to Decin Hlavni Nadrazi with multiple train changes. I already paid for reservation from Amsterdam to Hannover Hbf (since it’s recommended). However, there is a 4 hours train after that (Hannover Hbf > Dresden Hbf) in the journey that the eurail planner does not show seat reservation recommended. Am i guaranteed a seat on this train? Since I don’t want to stand up throughout the 4h train journey. I attached the screenshot for reference.

Ich muss dabei nicht umsteigen, es ist ein Direktzug. Dear experienced travellers, I am planning a trip to Italy this summer with my family by train, but have some uncertainties about the travelling days/planning. Hopefully anyone in this community can help me with some advice. Our plan is to travel from our homecity 's-Hertogenbosch in the Netherlands to Rome for  a week or so, than to a small city underneath Napels (to visit Napels, the Vesuvius and Pompei) for a few days and then return home. My most important question, are the outward and inward journey to our homecountry included in the 4 days of the 'global pass 4 days'?A bit more explanation with the schedule for our first trip from home to Rome (:-)) that would look something like this:20.09u Departure 's-Hertogenbosch 23.44u Arrival Koblenz 00.49 Departure Koblenz 06.20 Arrival Basel 06.28 Departure Basel 10.40u Arrival Milano 10.58u Departure Milano 14.10 Arrival Roma If I understand correctly, this will mean two travelling days. hello everyone  my wife and I are flying into Lamezia on 21 September and will then take the Frecciarossa to Messina leaving Lamezia Centrale at 1730, train #9583. My question is this: does the train go to Messina or do we have get off the train in Villa San Giovanni and make our own way to the ferry port? We do have a rail pass. When I was looking for trains to add to our trip, I entered Messina Centrale and this train came up as going to Messina. Does it really go to Messina?

Hi, I bought my pass (2 months) the last year but I have until the 10 july 2023 to activate it. Since, my plans are changed, this year I am in formation and I would like to know if :I can be refunded ? or, if I can extand the validity of my pass one year more (even paying a fee) or, if I can sell it in internet ?   Thank you !

I’ve been looking down how to go from Zagreb to Belgrade by train as we planned the route already but I can´t find the way. It seems like there are not more trains anymore. Does anybody know anything? 

Mid June I’m on my last trip within my 3months Global Pass: Scotland-Northern Ireland-Ireland-England. After staying in Edinburgh I plan to use the connection (train, bus and ferry) to Belfast (via Glasgow, Ayr, Cairnryan), run by Scotrail. Is it correct that no reservations are necessary and I just have to show my Global Pass online ticket?

HI Everyone, Firstly thanks for answering previous questions, this forum is epic!so we are traveling from Patras or Igoumenitsa on the 5th of June - we originally planned to get the train out of Greece to Sofia or Biograd, but alas we didn't check the latest info. So we have a few questions about this Journey If we book the Ferry from Patras, but we happen to be closer to Igoumenitsa at the time of departure, can we take the Ferry from their instead? picking up the Ferry we would have been on from Patras?  if the Ferry's is late and we miss trains that we have a seat reservation for from Ancona, what happens, is there any way of getting a refund on our reservations or switching them to a later date  If a ferry delay means we can not get to London (our home) before our pass runs out, does our pass get extended to allow for this, or would we have to pay full fair home?  Finally, if we take the Ferry from Patras, currently the Interrail app is showing no train and bus connections from Ath

I´m trying to book a ferry from Paros to Piraeus with my 6 day greek islands pass and it appears a sign that says “the document has already been used at departure”. Does anybody know why can that be happening?

I am a bit overwhelmedSmall overview: I need 9 travel days right?Where the seats are not available, can I also reserve a seat on the spot and/or travel with the Interrail "for free" without a seat.If you calculate 9-5 travel days you come to 45 = Bucuresti North until back in Bucuresti North. Would it be worth it because the trains are so cheap there in the east?Instead of the 10 days within 2 months for 316 euros. 4 days within 1 month for 194 euros. Price difference 122 euros.

Hi,Anyone please help me to understand if I have followed the exchange process properly.I am from India. I entered Germany on visa. I wanted to visit Paris but by mistake I purchased one country pass instead of global pass and activated it with travel date 18th May. When i realised it, I deactivated the pass. I purchased a global pass and submitted an application to eurail team for exchange just now at 3:00 AM BB on 17th may. so if im right 18th May is not started. Im eligible for exchange refund and all process followed properly  thanks for your help in advance. regards,rajnish k Srivastava 

Hello,I found that the seat reservation on TGV from Nice to Marseille is cheaper for a 1st class reservation than for a 2nd class reservation for Eurail 2nd class pass holders. Is this correct?Screenshot 1 - price  Screenshot 2 - Conditions On the screenshot 2, it says “Pass Eurail Upgrade (AE) - 1st class”.. and goes onto say, “...valid if used in conjunction with a 2nd class Eurail pass….”Am I reading this correct? Is this a valid ticket? It confuses me because the first class ticket is cheaper than the 2nd class ticket.
