Rail strikes in different regions around Italy may affect train networks across the country from Friday, 8 November to Saturday 9, November. ⚠️ Railway line closure in NorwayTrain Disruptions

A mishap on the Trondheim-Bodø railway line has resulted in some sections of this line being closed. All trains on this line have been impacted. However, the train line between Mosjøen and Mo i Rana is expected to open at the end of Week 48 (between 25 November and 1 December).We recommend that you check the SJ Nord website or the Entur website for up-to-date train timetables and information about your travels on this line.Delay compensation: Interrail travelers with an activated travel day on any of the affected dates might request compensation here.

Sleepers, in-journeys and travel days

On final day of my next trip, planning to get from Frankfurt via Brussels-Eurostar to St Pancras (dep 08.16 - arr 13.57). All fine and dandy. Then have to head north. It occurs to me The Caledonian Express leaves Euston at 23.45 and I can get home via Edinburgh under own steam. If I get the McSleeper at that time, does that count as same travel day or does the time difference given day starts in Frankfurt mess things up. And is it still good as an “inbound journey” for getting back home? It wouldn’t be past the validity of the pass and not its final travel day either.

Seat reservations Dec'24

Hi, I’m trying to book seats for a few different routes within Europe for December. I am not finding the schedule on Eurail beyond the 15th Dec., So I went onto the actual Train Operators sight to book the seats. They allow you to book seats only, but the cost is ridiculously high considering I have a first-class pass. Question 1) Can I book seats on the actual train operators’ website?Question 2) Can you do this (q1) using your passQuestion 3) Can you add these bookings to the eurail app? Or do you have an alternative recommendation, we are a group of 9, so don’t want to miss out on train reservations. Thanks in advance,

Tirano to budapest in 2 days travel - venice and vienna HELP!

Hello everyone, I have been given a Eurail pass for my birthday (47!) by my wife to get away from the UK for a week. I have decided to travel through Germany for a bit of memory lane, Beginning in Cologne (flight really cheap from UK) and making my way from there to Mainz; Munich; Chur - Tirano - I really want to go on the Bernine express route - then fancy trying to fit in Venice and need to end up in Budapest on my fifth day travelling on a 5 day in one month global pass. I have some questions I would love some advice on: Is the regional train from Chur to Tirano the same line as the Bernine express but just not posh with big windows? Tirano to Venice is a long old train but i really wanted to fit Venice in, however I need to be in Budapest for the end of the trip and beyond Tirano had no plans looking for good advice for 2-3 days travel between the two? I was considering the Venice to Vienna overnight train then out of ideas? is Trieste an option to visit and get me on my way t

Help with Travel Days for Erasmus Interrail Pass (Trondheim to Munich)

Hey everyone!I'm currently studying abroad in Norway and am planning an Interrail trip back to Germany with a friend after our exams. Here's our planned route:Trondheim to Oslo – We’ll stay in Oslo for a couple of days. Oslo to Stockholm - We’ll stay over Christmas Stockholm to Copenhagen - Staying for one or two days Copenhagen to Munich – We’ll change trains in Hamburg on the way.We’ve read on the Erasmus Interrail website that the pass includes one outbound journey from your home country and one return journey back to your home country without counting these as travel days. Does this mean our leg from Hamburg to Munich would also be covered as part of our inbound journey to Germany, even though we need to change trains in Hamburg?We’re considering buying the 4-day Interrail pass, as we technically only have 4 main travel days. However, we’re unsure if the Hamburg-to-Munich portion could require an additional travel day on the pass.Also, we’re unsure about the differences between the

Updating the planner for December 16th and beyond

I was wondering when the planner will be updated for Monday 16th December and beyond. Certainly from my own researching, schedules for Britain, France, Italy, Germany and Switzerland are all available. (I am sure the same is true for many more countries as well but I haven’t investigated these.)It’s not a big deal for me. Using national train websites I know which trains I will be taking over the Christmas period, and I have booked up all the required seat reservations that I require through Rail Europe. Display language on Pass confirmation

I purchased an Eurail Pass on Eurail official website and chosen English as the display language as always.However, the confirmation email sent to me is in Chinese. I logged into my account tried to generate a new one. All the same - both the Payment confirmation and the Pass confirmation email are issued in Chinese? I tried to on different divides - nothing helps.Does anyone there know how can I change them into English?Thank you!

HiOkay going on a Chocolate/Cheese/Christmas Market adventure - weather may not be perfect but that’s what we’ve got available so this is when we are going. Switzerland and Germany 22/11-12/12.Have a 22 day 1st Eurail Global Pass that we are using to visit Just wondering about the tickets - Have added the pass to the App but not activated it until the day we leave.
