Good afternoon Canada time   my wife and i have a 1st class global pass  I have some questions regarding seat reservationswe are travelling to Florence from Rome Termini in September ., then onward to Agropoli, Parghelia and back to Rome.If I check Rail Europe for seat reservations, I am given a price of $66.00CAD. If I book one way tickets to Florence from Rome, i have a price of $!30.00CAD total plus $2.95 per person for seat selection.if I try to book seat reservations with Italia Rail the cost is 13,00euros per person. But it will not accept my old school pass number. I need help thank you

Hi all - we are 2 adults and 2 teenagers travelling to Europe in June/July 2026. Our itinerary looks like this:-overnight train from AMS-Zurich, then Zurich-Lugano, Lugano-Trieste, Trieste-Ljubjana, Ljubjana-Munich, Munich-Nuremburg, Nuremburg-Cologne, then Cologne back to AMS.When I mapped this in the Eurail trip thingy it came up as 9 destinations but 11 travel days (am not sure why). Would I be able to buy a 10-day travel pass and then just buy four tickets on another train for the final trip or would it be better to buy a 15 day one in case we decide to do some side trips anywhere?Thanks in advance for the advice.Alison

Morning all, Complete UK newbie here and my wife and I have just planned and booked a 7 day trip round the Alps and back in a couple of weeks time.I’ve created the trip on my Interrail account on the App, and would like to copy/export (?) it to her account, rather than typing it all in again. Hello. On December 20th we will begin a family trip. On the website it says that you can reserve seats 60 or 90 days in advance, but when I enter the date it tells me that it has not yet enabled reservations for that date. We have a long route planned with Eurail and I am worried about not having information.I find the app and the website very unfriendly, no one from the company can solve anything for you, if I had known how complex it was I would not have bought the passes with this company.If anyone can help me I would appreciate it.Thank you so much.Laura

how far in advance should i book trains? do you need to book a seat on every train? i am travelling june-august

First, this is my first time using your services. Second, I think I activated my 22 days mobile Global pass on July 16, 2023 on your application but I'm not sure if I really activated the mobile pass and if what I do it's ok? I will be traveling from July 22 to August 12, 2023. Will I be able to use it on July 22 and on August 12 too? Third, I would like to know from what date exactly I could start using my 22 consecutive days with my 22 days mobile pass with the information I gave you? Fourth, if I did an activation mistake (e.g. too soon), especially since I haven't used anything yet, how could I fix it? Thanks!

Hello, it’s the first time I would use interrail to travel and I have few quesiton to know how it works better: part of my travel would need to go from Porto to Geneva, than back to Porto again, to leave for slovenia after few weeks. is it possible to do back and forth in the same cities ? or you are allowed to stop only once in one city?

If i am to cut short my country hopping and just stay in switzerland as the last leg of my journey,  Can i use my remaining 4 travel days  (out of 7 in 1 month global pass) in Switzerland? Instead of buying a Swiss Travel Pass (after seeing how much it cost). Suggestion and inputs much appreciated, thanks!

I am from Canada.  I will be traveling with three other people … all of us over 60.  We are traveling in Portugal and Spain.  I have booked all but one leg of the train segments.  I am having a great deal of trouble booking seat reservations.  I find this system not user friendly nor is the help when I get an email response.  Does anyone know how to book reservations.  Is there a telephone number I can call to get help with bookings?

Hi all, I finally brought two eurail 10 day passes as we are two australians travelling around europe.I managed to download the eurail app and add my pass but i have not activated it in fear that will mean i have to use it within two months when we dont start until june 15.I went to add my partners pass and couldnt see an option to do this ??Maybe it is only one pass per app but how would this work if you had family members without phones ?? Much thanks Marty

I’m from the Uk and am interrailing for a few weeks and then staying in Sweden for a couple of months. This will take me up to the 90 visa free limit. I’m then going to Bulgaria for a month straight from Sweden. I’ve looked online and it says I don’t need a visa because Bulgaria isn’t part of the Schengen area, but I just wanted to confirm this before booking flights etc. 

I have a pass and have booked Eurostar reservations but the app will not allow me to reserve this trip. Seats are now available on SNCF but Eurail gives me a ‘bad gateway’ error message. Help!

Hello, just a question about the 5 day pass: Can I choose the days during which to travel? If I understood well during a 2 weeks trip I can take a train only 5 times? Thanks a lot

Hello again from Canada the gentleman that replied moments ago, thank you for the map. can someone please help, my trip plans is to go from Paris to Venice and do an overnight trip. I cannot seem to figure out if there is an overnight option, where to connect and last train out. I was thinking of purchasing a 5 day rail pass. im originally flying into London, hoping on a high speed train through to Paris, from there to Venice and then into Rome. any advice will be greatly appreciated. 

Hi Eurail community,Thanks again for all being so helpful !We are nearly ready to purchase a pass and want to make the right selection.We are thinking a 10 day pass and then individual passes for the remaining days.Our plan looks like this :Fly from australia and start Munich > Winterthurr > Wengen > St Gallen > Salzburg > Frankfurt > Dusseldorf > Zandvort > Colonge > Hausach > Munich fly back We worked out cause we are staying at some places longer that we would need a total of 10 trains trips between all destinations. We understand some of these may need reservations so hope to book these if needed AFTER getting the 10 day pass.Any suggestions or tips would be awesome.Thanks again eurail community for being so helpful ! Marty and Verity ( from brisbane , Australia )

Bonjour j’ai 19 ans et je cherche à partir en interrail en Italie cette été. J’essaye de réserver mes places assises pour mes trajets mais toujours la même réponse: La recherche de tarifs n'a donné aucun résultat. Les places réservées aux détenteurs du Pass sont probablement épuisées. Que ce soit n’importe quelle destination ou n’importe quel horaire je ne peux pas. Comment faire ? Si vous avez une idée ou si vous avez eu le même problème je suis preneuse ! Je suis vraiment bloqué. Merci beaucoup bonne journée. Romane

I've made train reservations on the Rail Europe platform using my interrail pass number. I received the tickets as pdf's. Can I add them to the Interrail app? If not what to do when travelling ? Print the tickets and activate the travelling day as a 'use day' in the app ? Thanks for your support,  Rob
