cant add journey to my pass because seat reservation is required

I have my rail pass and I purchased seat reservations and the supplement is included. To use the pass I am trying to add my journey to the pass on the app. The journey says seat reservation and supplement required and does not add. The toggle in my trip is grayed out. Can I just select use travel day and board with my seat assignment ticket that I printed?

Hi, we have an unlimited 1 month pass. When we book seats we get a QR code. When do plan a trip and try to generate a code nothing happens. Some inspectors are fine saying the pass is the ticket. Others want to scan a code. Do we need to have a code for every journey? If we do why isn’t one being generated? Thanks

⚠️ Floods in Czech Republic, Austria and PolandTrain Disruptions

Extreme weather conditions during mid-September in Central Europe continue to cause disruptions in Austria, Czech Republic, and Southern Poland.Austria: The 'Westbahn' railway line between Vienna and Linz will be disrupted for the time being, leading to longer travel times because of diversions and cancellations. This will also impact trains between Germany and Switzerland to Vienna (and further to Hungary). Czech Republic: Certain railway lines around Ostrava and Bohumin are still closed till mid-October. Impacting international trains from Czech Republic to Poland. Poland: Around Klodzko, on the railway line from Wroclaw to Prague, replacement buses will run for the time being.We recommend checking the timetables of the country you're travelling in – ÖBB for Austria, CZ for Czech Republic and PKP for Poland – before departing for your planned train journey for up-to-date train schedules.

Advantage to trains with seat reservations?

Hello,4 of us will be doing a 3 week trip in Europe next May and using the trains to get around. On a direct route I see some trains need seat reservations and some do not, while the travel time is the same. Is there an advantage to the trains that have seat reservations vs the ones that do not? One example I looked at the seat reservations were about $65 each. I attached a picture as an example. We will be getting a 1st class global ticket. Thanks!!!

Le petit train jaune / The little yellow train from France to Barcelona

I am keen to start my journey this year from France into Spain on this special sounding train across the Pyrenees, but I am very confused by its itinerary. The Man in Seat 61 speaks of the possibility of boarding in Perpignan but SNCF just barges in and takes over when I try to check that on their site, and only shows TGVs to Barcelona! The other departure point is Toulouse, which is less problematic.What I need please is details of these two routes to Barcelona with the pricing structure, making it possible to do the journey with minimum cost. Also. can I go to one of the above main stations and simply buy a ticket? If it is as inexpensive as it looks, I won’t need to use a precious travel day getting to Barcelona.Thank you! Railjet reservation ÖBB

I try to make a reservation for the Railjet service (15.54) from Buchs to Innsbruck on the 31th of october. I tried it a for the last few days, I tried to do this via different websites, but the oebbtickets.at is clear: “currently not reservable”.It seems to be there is construction work upcoming or some timetable information is missing. I can't find info for construction work and the train is not missing in the rail planners.Is there a way to find out if this train is running on this day? Otherwise I have to chacnge some plans. Thank you for your help!

DB/SJ Refund of train and hotel

Hello, I recently came back from a fantastic interrail journey with two friends trough Sweeden and Danemark that went almost perfectly. However, on the first day of travel, we were unlucky enough to have our ICE train to Hamburg delayed and then cancelled wich prevented us from taking our booked night train from there to Stockholm.We are now compiling the formular to get a refund but we don’t really know what we are entitled to ask as refund… I know that there are european laws that regulate what and how companies should refund to travellers in the event of a problem that bar them from continuing their journey on the same day (hotel refund, tickets for the next day and food if I’m not mistaken), but I didn’t find a specific explanation for refunds if travelling with interrail. Furthermore, Deutsche Bahn told us at the station that they would “maybe” look for a refund of the hotel, but wouldn’t for the night train we’ve lost, the seat reservations we’ve had to pay the next day to contin

Guidance needed 30 consecutive days or 15 days in 60 days pass

Hi community,I need guidance on whether to go with a 15-day pass or a 30-day continuous pass. The cost per day for each will be AUD 163 per day per person and AUD 106 per day per person, respectively, but obviously, a 30-day pass is AUD 650 expensive.We are travelling in mid-September: 2 Adults and 2 children (14 and 11).
