Hi,My friends and I are looking to travel to Nice from Verona in August but the routes on Eurorail say the journey could take up to 15 - 22 hours!!?? However if you look in June, the journeys are around 6.5 - 8.5 hours?? Does this route get released at a later date? Any help would be appreciated!!Thank youuuu :)

Can you do it yourself - Seeking some help from the community. Is it possible to do the following using public transport.If so what is the best way of getting the public transport , and do I need to book it in advanceBergen to Voss - by TrainVoss to Stalhein - by buson the way Nærøydalen valley/water fallStalhein to Gudvangen  by busGudvangen to flam - Boat cruise for the FjordFlam to Mydral - by TrainMydral to Bergen I have inter rail pass - just wondering if there is any way I can use this and do the above at most cost effective way?

We are two people with global passes. Please can anyone advise if the following is realistic :Arrive Bucharest Nord May 14h Depart Istanbul May 19th if we make a reservation at Bucharest immediately will  this be enough time to make sure we will get a reservation ?If we the leave Istanbul on May 27th for Sofia booking as soon as we arrive in Istanbul(May 19th ) is this enough time to secure reservations in Istanbul.Thanks for any help/advice

I have 2 global passes, 7 day and 10 day, and am planning a round trip from London via Eurostar to France and Spain and back.I’ve made reservations using the 10 day pass number, but it’s now clear that I will only be travelling for 7 days.Is it possible to transfer the reservations made with the 10 day pass to the 7 day pass?Thanks in advance for your help.

This is our first Interrail trip, and I think I have most of the details under control.My confusion starts with the travel app.I understand the definition of a travel day - but…On our first day of travel we are going from St Pancras to Lausanne with changes in Paris and Geneva.The last leg of the journey does not involve the need to book seats, so we are free to travel as and when we please.How do I record this in the app as a travel day?Do I need to include all the interstitial stops, or do I merely select the date and enter the start and end points?The start time is fixed by the service from London that we are booked on, but our final arrival time is open to discussion as we can just jump on any train that covers that leg.

Book train Grindelwald Terminal to JungfraujochHi, I have a second class Eurail Global Pass. We want to go up to Jungfraujoch, but I would like to know if my pass includes this train? And if I need to reserve a seat? Thank you in advance for your help

Hoi, een vriendin en ik willen graag een interrail trip naar Praag, Milaan, Strasburg en Parijs gaan maken in 11 dagen. Wij hadden enkele vragen:Is iemand bekend met Strasburg? Het lijkt ons een mooie stad(je) maar is hier genoeg te doen? Ivm een redelijk korte reis willen we toch i.p.v. naar Wenen dichtbij Parijs en Milaan in de buurt. Hoe is jullie ervaring met wel/geen zitplaatsen reserveren?

I'm planning an Interrail trip from Bologna, Italy, to Istanbul, Turkey, passing through Italy, Croatia, Bosnia, Montenegro, Serbia, Greece, and Turkey.Since Albania and North Macedonia aren’t included in the Interrail pass, does anyone know if the train journey between Serbia and Greece is covered? Also, for those who’ve traveled this route, do you think the Interrail pass is worth it for these destinations, or would other transport options be better?Would love to hear about your experiences and tips!

We have a group of 4 traveling 1st class (2 couples).  We purchased our passes but the other couple hasn’t yet.  Does it help with allowing the 4 of us to sit together if we purchase the other their passes under our account so all 4 of us will be on the same account?  Or can they buy their own, and can we all 4 still get reservations to sit together?  Thanks.

Hi everyone, excuse me if I have got this wrong, but looking for some help. I have paid €411.00 for a 5 day global pass, I have had to pay almost 50euro for the eurostar and seat reservations on my journeys are somestimes 15/20euro. Does this sound right? It just seems expensive. Also is it normal to not be able to book trains yet in France and Spain for the first week of June? Thanks so much community! 

Hi, I was hoping to get some advice from experienced travelers and natives on this forum about my family’s travel plans. We are from the states, visiting Paris and Switzerland, and are debating between the Eurail Global Pass and the Swiss Pass. We will be staying in Paris for 2 days, traveling for 6 consecutive days around Switzerland, and finally staying another 2 days in Paris. We are not sure about our plans in each city yet but our train route is going to be:Paris → Geneva → Bern → Spiez → Interlaken → Grindelwald → Spiez → Luzern → Zurich → Interlaken → Zweisimmen → Paris Would a Eurail Global Pass or Swiss Pass be more logical for us? We are also open to suggestions and recommendations on what to do in each city as this is our first time in Europe. Thank you for your time.

Hi there, I'm unclear on the rules about outbound journeys. I have a global pass for one month. I plan to leave Glasgow and travel to the Hague as the first stop on my trip. The trouble is, i planned to take the overnight train from Glasgow which leaves at 23.40 on the first day of travel. I then plan to wake up in London and take the eurostar on to bruxelles at 09.10. I'm worried that I would use up my outbound travel day on the 23.40 train and then not be able to travel from London across the border the next day.  Do I need to make the outbound journey to cross the border all in one travel day (0.00-23.00)? Thanks.

Hi everyone, in early March, I be travelling with my daughters with intended trip to start at Paris (2 nights), then Interlaken (1 night), then Rome (3 nights), then Florence (2 nights), then Nice (2 nights), then back to Paris (3 nights). Any advice or view if I should get all separate trip tickets or puchase a 5 days Eurail pass. I would like to check how much individual train ticket price costs and adds up before deciding on a Eurail pass. But how do i check at the app for individual trip price? Please advice. Thanks !

Hello everyone!I am trying to book seats for the middle of july as they are compulsory but they say there are no seats available, the carrier company is SNCF and the selling starts 150 days from the departure, it is possible that all the eurail pass holders are already sold? Hi,I live in Vienna, and on all the Interrail passes that I have had, I have got 3 inbound/outbound journeys and not 2. As I use Interrail passes regularly to go to Paris, this is quite convenient, because by buying 2 youth months-long global passes during sales, 2 back and forth journeys cost about 200€ including reservations, which is as much expensive or even cheaper than day trains. I just need to buy the ticket from Vienna to Freilassing or to Salzburg for one trip, which is 30€ with a Bahncard 50. For 4-days passes, this is also quite convenient, as 3 out of 4 days can be used in Austria.I wonder: how is the number of allowed days of trips inside the country of residence determined ? So far, I have only seen 3 days inbound/outbound. I have understood that it depends on the time it can take to go to the border, but I am not sure that any trip in Austria must really take more than 1 day, even if 6 hours domestic train rides exist. Are there any country which get only 2 days ? Switz

Hi, I am Stan trying to go via train from Annecy to Geneva. Are there any direct trains in July? My current searches have some trains but they go via a lot of stations and take a very long time for a short 2 hr journey from Annecy to Geneva

Hi all, it's my first post. I'm travelling the beginning of July, a Saturday.  Flying into Zurich Switzerland and getting the train from the airport to Interlaken. I'll have an interrail card. My question is do I need to book the train beforehand or wait till I arrive. I do realise I can make as many bookings on that day. I'm just thinking if I'm delayed I'll have to make a second booking. Suppose I'm trying to gauge how busy trains are on Saturdays. Also I think the women's Soccer World Cup is on there too.
