supplement included in seat reservation from Munich to Verona?
Hello!Apparently there is a supplement required when travelling from Munich to Verona (or between Germany and Italy in general). On this site there is info that says the supplement is included if I book seat reservations through the Eurail self-reservation tool which I did and the price was 10€pp which apparently is exactly the supplement amount. However, there was supposed to be a text “supplement included” printed on the ticket. There is no such text. However it says “ticket + reservation” on the top. So is the supplement now paid or not, does anyone know? Thanks!-Anna
issue with adding journey manually for nightjet
Hello, I have reserved the seats for NJ 402 train from Zurich to Amsterdam but unfortunately that train does not exist in the rail planner app. I can’t add manual journeys since it disappears immediately after I close the app. I can see one journey IC 60402 which is the same train with seating instead of sleeper. Can I add that train and show the barcode to ticket checker and travel in sleeper coach since I reserved that one?please advise if you have any experience since I am traveling soon.
Night train bookable in B-Europe?
This might sound silly... I booked to and from Eurostar tickets last month on b-europe.com and it went perfectly fine… Now I'm trying to book a NJ from Austerlitz to Nice Ville and I just can't seem to remember where I selected the Eurail discount. The only difference is that last time I did it on the laptop and this time I'm using the B Europe app on an Android. But that shouldn't make a difference, right? Right now its only showing the following discount card options:Regards.
Eurail Pass - reservations essential?
I have bought a 7-day Eurail pass for June-July travel in Italy-Switzerland. The pass does not apply to local/regional trains but question I have is when it is stated Reservations are needed - is this just for a seat - or can the Eurail pass still be used e.g. standing room where accepted without that reservation?eg. travel Rome Airport station to Roma Tiburtina on 26 June 2023 Other question isNo seat reservation is available anyway for above travel on Eurail search engine- is this because it is too early being now 16th April trying to book for 26/6/23? I read somewhere timetables become enfixed 2 months in advance?
Combining rail ticket with Interrail Global pass for same journey
Hello everyone,We live in Hamburg, Germany. My wife and I bought two 4 days in 1 month global passes and were planning to use it to travel around Hungary. We used it to go to Budapest but had to cut our journey short and come back. So we used up the outbound/inbound (2 days out of 4). We would like to use the remaining 2 days for a Nordic trip.Since the outbound and inbound are used up, can we book a rail ticket from Hamburg to a Danish border town like Padeborg and from Padeborg switch over to our global passes? Because once we are out of Germany which is our country of residence, we can start using the global pass again. So, we get on the Hamburg to Copenhagen direct train, reserve seats all the way from Hamburg to Copenhagen, but we buy rail tickets only from Hamburg to Padeborg. At Hamburg, we show the ticket checker these rail tickets. Can they then question us about why our seats are reserved until Copenhagen? And then at Padeborg, we start a travel day and then select the same tr
One adult travelling with 2 children under 11 - Seat reservations
Hi, I’m looking at booking a 4 day Interrail pass for me and my children who are 10 and 7. According to website this pass is around £220 and the children don’t need to pay, is this correct? Also the 4 days travel will be one day from London to Barcelona, another day from Barcelona to San Sebastián in Spain, another from San Sebastián to Brive la Gallairde and last day from Brive la Gallairde back to London; are all of these routes available with the Interrail pass? Thank you
Reserving beds on UK night train
Hi all,I’d like to take the night train from London Paddington to Cornwall Penzance. Unfortunately, I can not find the cabins ticket on interrail or acprail website. Few days ago, I saw this cabins option on interrail, but now it’s gone. Therefore, where can I buy the cabins ticket, not only seat ticket? Thanks
Trains from Milan to Nice
Travelling from Milan to Nice, Paris. What is the cheapest and shortest train route. The Eurorail requires to buy a global pass. But I will most likely take this train trip only once. What is my best option. Also please provide the website link with your recommendation. Thank you so much
Seat Reservation Oslo - Bergen - Oslo "Issuer Number" is wrong - What can I do now?
Hi everyone,I'm doing my first Interrail trip through Scandinavia this summer. I've already made a few seat reservations. However, on the reservations for the routes from Oslo to Bergen and Bergen to Oslo, there is a number under "Issuer" that I do not know. I definitely didn't specify this when ordering. I have given my Interrail pass number. The number on the reservations is not the passport number. Does anyone have experience with seat reservations for these routes? Is the number made up of something? Otherwise, can I contact Interrail directly - if this is the wrong number? Is there a direct email or phone contact from Interrail?Thank you in advance and greetingsBenjamin
Free reservation in first class?
Hi!In August I'm going to make my second interrail journey, and this year I've purchased a first class pass. Now I've started with making some reservations, if they are available. In the ÖBB app, first class reservations were for free on some trains, while second class reservations had a €3 fee. How come first class is free actually? Those free reservations were for the Raljet 67 Wien-Budapest and IC 210 Zagreb-Ljubljana. I have the reservations as PDF ticket.
Interrail not valid on ICE NL->DE 17 June - 18 August 6:00-16:00
According to NS International Interrail is not valid anymore (even with seat reservation) on the ICE from the Netherlands towards Germany between 6:00 and 16:00, during the summer months (17 June - 18 August). 🤐 During the period from 17 June to 18 August 2023, Eurail and Interrail travellers cannot use the ICE International trains towards Germany with departure times between 6am - 4pm from a station in the Netherlands. Even with a separate seat reservation, travel on these trains is not allowed for Eurail and Interrail travellers during the specified period. How to use the seat reservation and trips
Hi, I’ve recently bought the global pass for 4 days in 1 month and am planning to go from London to Paris in mid May in a group of 2. We have bought the global passes and bought the seat reservations for our dates that we need from London to Paris and Paris to London through the interrail website. We got the Eurostar train and the tickets have been sent to us via email. What im confused about is that these Eurostar tickets are individual tickets on their own and not linked to the pass? So what exactly is the procedure with both the pass and the ticket? Am i supposed to activate the pass before travelling and when I board the train, I simply need to use just the Eurostar ticket Ive gotten? There doesnt seem to be any link between the ticket and pass I’ve bought. Clarification on the travelling procedure would be much appreciated! Thanks!
Train strike on first (outbound) travel day.
Hello,We are planning a trip from Perpignan in the south of France to Amsterdam - Odense - Stockholm and have bought a 4day/1month pass for that. Now, because of the frequent train strikes here in France these days, we think we should fly to Amsterdam instead of going by train. We live near the Spanish border, so getting to Barcelona and flying from there would not be a problem. The question is then: Can we still use the pass for the rest of our journey, i.e. for the Amsterdam - Odense - Stockholm part?
Eurail pass scam?
Hi, I purchased a eurail pass for my trip travelling throughout Europe for 4 weeks. I thought this would save stress and money however when I arrived for my first train to Paris I was unable to make it on any of the trains and had to purchase a ticket anyway. My question is how can I avoid this happening for other cities where I may possibly be stranded without accommodation. The train company were not affiliated and could not help. There is no personal customer service making me think this pass / company is a total rip off!!

Pass activation and no seat reservation needed
Hi everyone, We are visiting Europe from Canada in June and July 2023. I am booking each part of our journey. So far I’ve reserved seats on the following routes: Barcelona to Paris, Paris to London and London to Brussels. All these routes require a reservation. However, when I try to reserve from Brussels to Amsterdam, no reservations are required so I cannot book anything. I read on another post that this segment has to be added as a journey through the app, but the app is very confusing. I haven’t activated the pass because I read it’s better to do it closer to my trip in case plans change, so when I click on “My Pass” in the app, I can see the pass for each member of my family, but when I click on “My Trip”, it only asks me to create a trip but I cannot see the one I created on my laptop, where I’ve been reserving seats. Am I supposed to activate my passes so that I can see the trip I’ve been working on in my laptop, or will I have to create a new, separate trip on the app? What hap

I know you cant change it and you have to ask for a refund. Is that also possible if you have open trips on the pass? I dont know what to do now.
