When we reserve seats, would we be able to reserve seats next to each other if we bought tickets separately?
Hi all!My boyfriend and I will be travelling europe in the fall. We are trying to understand how the passes/reservations work. When we reserve seats, would we be able to reserve seats next to each other if we bought tickets separately or is it randomized/pick a seat when you get to the train? Or if we buy the passes together, when we reserve, since we bought together would it automatically assign us seats together/choose seats next to each other ? Or is it also just pick a seat when you get to the train? Any info on how this works and if there’s a benefit to booking passes together or each separately!!!thanks a million
Ferry Travel Day Definition
I`m asking about the EURAIL Greek 4 days island pass.I`m about to book 2 blue-start ferry trips (or even more...), and I want to understand what is a travel day exactly. What does a travel day provide, of the 2 following options?I can reserve 4 ferry trips, each on a different day?ORI can reserve unlimited number of ferry trips, as long as I travel in one of my 4 travel days, which I choose. Thank you!I HOPE it`s the second option of course :D Yet the website is not so clear about it…
Can I add a trip during a travel day?
Hello everyone,Is it possible to add all trips that I want during an already created travel day?Example: I went from Pisa to Florence using a travel day, and during that same day I want to go from Florence to Rome, but I don’t have this trip saved in my Pass yet. Can I add this trip just before entering the train, or do I need to add this trip sooner?
Cancel a day trip
Hello, I have a problem concerning my last day of travel, I want to return tomorrow from Naples to Nantes, I have one day of travel left on my pass. However, I made a wrong manipulation with the application and my travel day was set for the 9th of July and not the 10th. I can't cancel my travel day today to get my tickets for tomorrow. Can you please help me, I am completely stressed.
Outward/ return journeys
I’m from the UK and have bought an interrail pass for this summer. My month long trip is being broken up by a wedding that I have to return for mid trip - no choice there. I wanted to travel out by Eurostar at the end of July but all reservations are sold out (unsurprisingly). So, my question is, could I fly out to start my trip in Amsterdam, visit a number of countries, return home and then use the ‘outward journey’ mid August and travel by Eurostar then? (There is availability for the date I want to travel) I hope this makes sense!Thanks.
Rail Planner - MyTrip - ''pass cover number doesn't look right''
I have a Pass for travels during 2 months.When I go to Rail Planner, on “My Trip”, if I want to connect my Pass cover number for a new trip, it is refused. It’s written “Your Pass cover number doesn’t look right”. Why ? And what to do ?Thank you for your answers
DB Direct trains not showing in interrail app
Hi!I want to take a direct train from Copenhagen-Hamburg with DB, but these journeys do not show up when I’m searching in the Rail Planner app. Does this mean that the interrail pass will not be vaild for these trains (even if I book a seat reservation for the train)?Best regards, Alice
All days show as used while I should have 2 days remaining. What to do?
Hi, my pass EU30671829 is showing all trips for the 7 days are used up however i should have 2 days remaining. Two of the trips were mistakenly used as i made an error while using the app. Please check your system to confirm, that i have only used 5 days out of the 7.Could you please help with updating my account so that i have 2 remaining days of travel left.I need this to be urgently resolved as i need to travel again in 3 days time.thankyou very much!
Seat Reservations Spain - how else to book reservations without being in Spain
Hi there!I'm traveling through Spain in August 2022 and would like to make some seat reservations - but it doesn't work on either the DB-, OEBB-, SBB-website (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). How else can I get reservations without being in Spain?Thank you! :)
Money back for wrong reservation
Unfortunally I did a wrong reservation from Mannheim to Paris. I did two times Mannheim Paris, instead of Paris Mannheim back. I could not cancel it online, so I did a third reservation to be sure, which I can not see on my accout either. Can I get the 15 Euros back for the wrong reservation. Is there any chance to call somebody by phone???
Connection fails - new ticket required?
In the FAQ, the following is missing from the "Ticket inspection with your mobile Pass" section:I have a travel plan with multiple train connections. Due to the delay of the preceding train, I miss the scheduled connecting train. Do I have to delete the old connection and enter the new one? What should I do if the remaining time to change to the new train is too short to enter the new ticket? In the worst case, do I have to wait until the next day?

Hello,I had been selected few months ago by the DiscoverEU programme and I am now planning to use my interrail pass. I saw that a forum exists to find a partner (https://discovereucommunity.interrail.eu/) but i am unable to login even if I own a interrail pass from DiscoverEU. When i log on the main interrail website and then go to this site, i got redirected to a page saying that “The DiscoverEU Community is only open to participants of the DiscoverEU programme.” (https://www.interrail.eu/en/interrail-passes/what-is-discovereu/interrail-community).Any solution ?Thank you,Valentin
What is the return address?
I need to return a pass as the country of residence was printed wrong. The refund procedure on the website worked fine, I received my refund number and now only have to send the ticket, but I now have two different addresses. For days I have not received an answer as to which address I should send the ticket to.There is the return label that came with the tickets, with the address:Eurail. B.V., Int. Business Return Service, I.B.R.S./C.C.R.I. No.7, 3500 ZA Utrecht (NL).However, on the website I was told a different address after the process was completed:Eurail. B.V., Pass refund, P.O. Box 2338, 3500 GH Utrecht (NL) please can anyone help confirm which address is correct? Has anyone sent a pass back in the post before? Your help will be much appreciated!! @Nanja please help
How to deal with Estonian conductors
Does anyone what to do in Estonia, when (“Elron”) conductors who do not recognize - or do not wish to be bothered with - mobile Global passes?In five days, I have ridden Elron trains maybe six times.On my very first ride, the conductor - to her credit - telephoned HQ and asked what to do.TWO conductors have said the Pass “is not good.” Only ONE conductor has recognized the pass and issued the €0.00 receipt (per Elron procedure). I’ve saved these and showing them has helped - sometimes (twice thus far).Yesterday, after showing a previous Elron receipt, the conductor said “let it be” (according to an English-speaking passenger sitting next to me) and walked away.Today, the conductor said that the mobile Pass was “no good,” and said that the previous Elron receipt was “not good” (it shows Tallinn as the destination; I’m going to Paldiski).By (sharp) contrast, I’ve used intercity buses four times, and ticket sellers and drivers were very helpful and courteous.(By the way, I’m no “rookie.”
Changing trains after activating the pass
Hello once again It's my first day using the 3-day pass and I wanted to know if I could change one of the trains of my trip to one earlier. I had a reservation for the one I chose first but this one doesn't need any reservation. So i just changed on the apo but the other one still appears on my trip. Can i go on the one I chose today or will I be in trouble?(I'm in Italy by the way)
Duplicate multi trips to another pass in same device
Hello Can we duplicate multi trips to another pass in the same device? It seems that i have to create trips 1 by 1 to another passholder in the same travelling group. It is mentioned in eurail short video but very briefly that i could not follow the instructions.
Eurail mailed paper ticket to wrong adress
I had my paper ticket for a Paris-Barcelona reservation mailed to my friend’s place in Poland with my friend being the recipient as I won’t arrive there until July 21. The date of departure on the ticket is July 26. Yesterday, I checked the tracking and somebody at Eurail put my surname after my friend’s first name as the receiver, not his proper name as I entered it in the form. I absolutely 100% completed the form correctly. This is a silly mistake on Eurail’s behalf, but I’m concerned that because it is being sent registered mail, the postal company will not complete the delivery. I emailed customer service and have not yet gotten a response. What year is it? Why on earth is this mailed paper ticket a thing? Small mistakes like this can cause huge headaches.
App says '+1 days', even with no transfers
Hi! A friend and I are planning to travel to Italy this summer, but are having some confusion about the night trains. We want to take some trains at night, but the app says ‘+1 day’ for these trips. Does that mean that it takes 2 days off your pass? Because I read somewhere that that's not supposed to be the case as long as you board the last train before 00:00. For example, we want to take a trip that has one train fron 22:00 to 23:30, and then one from 23:45 to 7:00, but the app says ‘+1 day’, so we are confused about what that means. Can anyone tell us?
