To ask all about our Passes, reservations & more
We are travelling from Prague to Paris tomorrow. We arrive on RE 3367 to Teltow at 11:53. We catch the RE 29655 out of Bingen (Rhein) Hbf at 12:43. My ticket tells me to use public transit to get between stations , but when I enter Teltow and Bingen (Rhine) into Google earth it tells me public transport will take like 7 hours. What am I missing? Thanks I. Advance!
Hi,I want to travel from Sofia to Bucharest in 3 weeks with my daughter and then, and the same day by the night train to go to Budapest -i checked the train timetable-, but i read that we can’t book Sofia-Bucharest before and it’s possible only from Sofia’s station, so i’m a bit stressed if we find easily tickets from Sofia to Bucharest without booking because we are going to travel on saturday….so i would have some advices… we start from Greece. Thank you
Hi everybody !I've read a lot of topics on the subject, but I haven't found a precise answer to my question. I’m French, and before leaving for the rest of continental Europe, I want to take a trip to the UK. The first trip from Paris to London will logically count as an outbound. I've understood that. But then, do I have permission to do London - Brussels afterwards to continue my journey? Won't this London - Brussels (via France) automatically end the validity of my pass, as I'll have returned to France a second time?To sum up, are these outbound/inbound journeys really outbound and inbound or simply days of travel in our country of residence that can be used in any way, even just by crossing it without stopping? (In the end, I plan to return to France on my own)Thank you all in advance for your answers!Arnaud
In the app, when generating a new travel day, it asks you to select the day and time of the train that you are going to take, but if I don't know what time I am going to return on a round trip, what is the trip On the way back, what do I have to put in the day of the trip? What do I have to do in the app to be able to access the next train that was not included in my travel day? Thanks
I have planned a trip using the website. I have received the reservations to my mail and that’s fine, but how do I see the planing in my app now? do I have to do the plan again in the app? why it dose not shows automatically in the app once I entered my pass?
Greetings,Newbie here. Well, not really - I’m 76 so not quite so new.My wife and I will be traveling to Europe from the US. and the trip starts in one week. From the Eurail website, I have purchased two Global passes (15 days in two months), and several seat reservations where called for. My questions pertains to use of the Rail Planner app.Is it generally a good idea to have both passes on one phone, or for each of us to have our own pass on our personal phone? If you are not making the seat reservations on the app, can you move previously purchased reservations over into the app? Or is it better just to keep paper reservations and use those when boarding? Thanks in advance!
I've read on the Facebook forum that passes bought during the anniversary sale now have a two-month ‘grace period’ For example, a pass that needed to be activated on the 11th of May, is now valid until 11th July. Is this true? If true, will this effect my ability to exchange my ticket? I've been advised that I can exchange my ticket (because it wasn't activated by the cut off date) if I purchase another ticket of the same value # before the cut off date# Does the new date count? Hope this makes sense, Thanks
Checking Eurostar reservation possiblities before booking Eurrail / Interrail Global Pass - where and how?
I would like to book a family pass but haven’t done so yet. We will be travelling from the UK on a particular day: and on that day staying in France with friends who will only be able to meet us at the nearest train station at a reasonably early time in the day. Ie. don’t want to waste time or money buying the Interrail pass before we know exactly which reservations are on offer and whether it suits. I have gone to the generic Eurrail / Interrail help & support page about how you do this but still can’t see how I can look up which seat reservations are available. Nothing comes up when I enter our dates. Help!I would prefer to use a helpful website than download a space and data consuming app. So no app recommendations, please. Queries: I want to know before booking the Eurail pass whether it’s worth buying the first / second class pass. Where can I do that? And see all the available seat reservations for the different travel legs and days, before buying a pass? I’d like to know i
We have the Global Pass, our trips are all added to the pass. Tried to book seat reservation on PE train from Interlaken to Montreux on Eurail reservation page. The video showed very easy booking but not at all like that on their reservation site. Are we missing something?

It never happened before.Plan to travel tomorow on ICE from Munich to Dresden, want to add the trip to my pass, and when I click “Show ticket” it sais “No ticket for this date, it looks you haven’t addad any journeys on this date...”Very strange, coz on German ICE no need reservation, and it alwas worked to add journey even right before the trip. I have eurail pass and want to go from Roma Termini to Sorrento. On google maps the route is7am Roma Termini to Napoli Centrale 8:12am, then 8:21am Piazza Garibaldi to Sorrento 9:34am. I can only find 7am train on italiarail.com but no connecting trains on oebb app from Napoli Centrale/Piazza Garibaldi until 11:35am although google maps show differently (but that also no bus tickets for LK029 change from Napoli Afragola to Sorrento). Is the entire route covered by eurail?how to buy tickets for the 2nd leg after arriving at Napoli Centrale? What’re my best options without boat pls?
Hello. We will be vvisiting England and Scotland, but we will start off in Amsterdam for a few days before hand. I am planning to buy the Global Flex Pass. In trying to figure out the best pass with the online planning tool, I was unable to add a leg from Glasgow to Edinburgh or London to Exeter. Is this because these legs are not covered? Or are the distances so short that it's just not worth bothering with the pass? We do plan to travel by train for daytrips around Glasgow and London, so should we buy a few days of the Britrail pass too? Thanks in advance for your comments/responses.
Hi,Hope you can help me out: I want to know if this railpass works between european countries and how easy is to book them.Context:I will be there with my girlfriend mid July to mid August visiting on holidays We will visit France, England, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland and Italy in that order I already bought outside the pass the trains between France-England and England-Belgium because is the start of our journey (maybe i wasted money, but sometimes you lose) We want to travel between cities in the afternoon because we want to avoid getting at night to our destination. My questions are:It’s really granted that i will have my train tickets (2) or this seat quota is difficult to get (the flight in is in 5 weeks) in a specific day? We are two so it’s possible to reserve the two seats at the same time? The local travel includes the metro or it’s specifically to inter-city trains? Thanks in advance and I apologize for my english.Saludos

"Your Pass isn't valid on this date" message received when trying to book SNCF reservation for this Thursday
Hi. I have a 4 day in a month pass activated this morning but bought via “My Interrail” rather than the eurail site (there was a cash back offer before Christmas). I’m trying to book a Strasbourg to Paris ticket for Thursday via the only website that I can do it on I think, correct me if I’m wrong, this being www.interrail.eu. However it returns the message, “Your Pass isn't valid on this date” when searching. I’ve deleted old passes on the site and the only one pass in the “My Trips & Travellers” section is the one activated today. Any thoughts please?
On 7 August i will take the EN40414 from Ljubljana to Villach, where i have to change for my next leg to Italy. Here i have the choice to take the NJ1295 to Bologne or the NJ233 to Milano. EN40414 arrival: 23.48NJ1295 departure: 0.55NJ233 departure: 1.34I was wondering if i would make the transit in 1 hour or if I'm more safe to take the train to Milan. I have no preference, because later i'll go to Rome. Has anyone tips for this transit? And how punctual are these trains?
I begin interrailing on the 29th of June and while most of my train tickets are e-tickets some are printed and posted tickets which have been estimated to arrive by July 1st. Does anyone know if they arrive quicker than estimated?
I purchased my DB Bahn seat reservations from the Interrail website. I received a PDF with a blurred QR-code. I wonder is there a way to transfer these tickets to the DB Bahn app instead of having various PDF-documents?The app asks for a 9-figure order number, but that can’t be found on the PDF. It just says Eurail.
