Hello, I am in Norway and I would like to check/book tickets for today and tomorrow. But there is no office open and even the assistance by phone it is "ooo" (it is available only from Monday to Friday).What can I do?If I catch a train without reservation, can I try to reserve directly on the train? Are there fines? Thank you
Hi, My name is Haeun kim. I made a reservation for Eurostar from England to France on Saturday, June 17 by Eurail Pass. The reservation number is R2023286255. Due to the schedule change, the fee was charged through the Eurostar app and the date was changed to Friday, June 16. According to the Eurail reservation, it is 6/17, but I wonder if there may be a problem with taking Eurostar on 6/16. If possible, can I get a voucher by email for the reservation made on June 16th? Hello,I’m asking myself where to sit in non mandatory reservation trains. I have no seat number attributed because the reservation is not mandatory, but it seems like other passengers have sit reservations so I’m wondering where to sit so I don’t take there seats. in my case, I’m travelling through Czeck Republic, Germany, Danemark, Sweden and Norway.thank you !
Hi! I want to book two sleeper cabin for 2 (separate by gender) in order to be me and our son in one compartment, and my wife and our daughter in other one (first screenshot). But when I’m gonna pay, this warning appears (second screenshot). I guess it means that we all four are not gonna be in the same compartment, that is gonna be two in one compartment, and two in the other one. Is that correct? It does’nt mean that, for example, my son is not gonna sleep in the same compartment as me, right?
Because our mobile passes didn't work, we ordered the 9th of May paper passes. The 16th of May Eurail wrote us that they have send them and we could expect them before of on the 16th of May. The 17th we got a track and trace message that they would arrive the 17 th, between 10.00 and 13.30, later before 22.00 and at 18.00 that they didn't arrive anymore. So we waited all day for nothing.We had to watch track and trace: All the time now: Your parcel is not received or not sorted.Today I contacted Post.NL and now they write that it will be delivered by Extra@Home.Here we can't see again when it will be delivered.Takes it by everybody so much time to get the paper EUrail pass?Bianca
I’m thinking of getting a 4 day interrail pass and go from Soderhamn (Sweden) to Copenhagen. This will be a 19.5 hrs trip (from 2pm-9.30 am the next morning) does this count as 1 or 2 travel days? I then want to go from Copenhagen to Oslo which is a 30-40 hour trip depending on what trains I take. By doing this, would I have gone over my 4 day pass?
Hi! I’ll be interrailing for the first time this summer July 2023. I was planning on doing Budapest - Zagreb on the 20th July 2023, on the IC204 15:42 - 22:10. The Eurail booking system says this journey requires seat reservations, however shows me the “Prices Unavailable” message. Also, after contacting the MÁV-group (Hungarian railways) about booking seat reservations through their website, they replied to me they only provide seat reservations online if you book the ticket as well, therefore Interrail Pass holders need to book these reservations at an Intenational Ticket Office personally. Could someone help me with this? Are seat reservations really needed? If so, are there any other ways to book them? Thank you.
I have made seat reservations for 2 of the train rides I will be making internationally with my Eurail Global Pass for 2 months. However, some trains say I do not need to purchase a reservation. Will I be able to board the train still? How will I know the train will not be booked at the time I would like to board. Also, since my pass covers 10 rides within 2 months, how do I make sure that I use this pass for those train tickets? I am very lost.
Hello,I need help please,I have booked seat reservations from Vienna Austria to Zagreb on the 14th June 2023.I was trying to book for myself and my friend but both reservations are not together and are both in her name.The system would not allow me to change the seat reservation to my name it kept putting in my friends name. We wanted to sit together too but i fear we are not sitting together. Eurail has told me to contact the railway company directly but being new to reading the European train tickets I cannot find the company. I see Railjet on my ticket? is that the company? Can someone send me a photo of where to find the railway company directly or give me an email address so i can rectify this issue.Thank you
Hi ! :)I’m french and I need to book a ticket from Montpellier to Marseille with my interrail global pass, to then go to Italy. But at the train station, I was told by the machine that this ticket with interrail global pass is only available for people who don’t live in France… While it is said on the interrail website “ An Interrail Global Pass is valid for travel in your country of residence during one outbound journey and one inbound journey that occur during travel days at any point in your trip.” Can someone tell me what to do actually ? Thanks in advance ! :)
We have our passes and we are trying to book seats from Paris to Lucerne. We can book seats from Paris to Basel but there is not an option to purchase seats from Basel to Lucerne. I know we change trains in Basel but how do we purchase seats on the Basel to Lucerne segment? Appreciate your help.
Hello all! I want to go to Budapest for my start of the trip from Edirne but it is shown that I cannot book to Dimitrovgrad (which is the first stop). Does not have the "More Information" option as well, what can I do? Currently out of city so I cannot go and ask.
I have been wanting to book the high speed Florence - Milan train in August but they do not seem to be running after the 6th. Does anyone know if there planned engineering works affecting this line? I have tried to find out but thought I would ask on here as I’ve not had much luck.
Hello, I`m traveling with my son and got to passes in my app. Our first travel day was canceled because of train delays caused by strike and we hade to fly to our destination. Now I got one used travelday on my trip but on on my sons trip in the app. Thats because I activated my trip and travelday before I discovered that the we couldn't travel with it, but not my sons pass, he's pass is still not used. Can this give me problem when we are going home by train? Summed up: I've got one used travel day and he's got non? (I've got 3 days left and he's got his four.) Grateful for help/Malin
I was ready to purchase my Eurail pass for my family when we travel to several European countries in July. When I looked at the price breakdown, it had a price for two adults (my husband and myself) and one youth (13 years old). Next to the child price (11 years old), it had $0. Great! However, when I added it to my cart, it said I was purchasing 3 Eurail passes—2 adults and one youth. My concern is that my 11 year old won’t have a pass, so therefore we’d have to purchase his train tickets separately. How will the ticket offices know that my 11 year old qualified under a free pass?
HelloI bought an Eurail Pass that can be used seven days a month. I'm going on a trip in July, and I set the starting date as the travel date. By the way, can I press the yellow QR code-shaped activation button on My Trip now? It doesn't count as a month from now on, does it?
