Hello, I am looking to purchase an Interail global pass. I live in the Netherlands at the moment but only as a traveller at this stage (90 days) I hold a New Zealand passport but my partner who I am living with has a Dutch passport. I have 2 questions regarding this. 1. Will I be able to use this pass with no issues, given I do not hold an NL Passport? and 2. Can this be used within the Netherlands for the general trains, or just the international ones?
Hi community, this 50 year flash sale seems really nice!I’d have the following question: During the three months of an Interrail Global Pass I’d be visiting my friends in Switzerland and France often. Would there be a problem if I take the same trip back and forth often? This would be between France and Switzerland, so not in my home country Germany.Just trying to understand whether there’s be some limitations to the Pass that I’m not understanding yet! Thanks and all the best!Marvin
I am planning a trip to Sweden and Norway. I did not find any trains on the interrailwebsite to cross the border. But on local websites there is a route with two trains and a bus connecting Bodo and Kiruna. Is the interrailpass valid on these trains? The first train from SJ NORD will take me from Bodo to Fauske station. The second train from VY NATTAG will take me from Narvik to Kiruna. Can I use the interrailpass or should i buy a separate ticket for these trains?
Hi there, I’m looking to book a one month interrail pass and am wondering if my journey from Scotland (my home country) to London and then onto the Eurostar to France would count as one outbound ticket and be included with the pass or if I would have to pay for a separate ticket to get from Scotland to London first ?
Am I allowed to take multiple journey in an out of my residence country for different trips in a different point in time?
Hi,I am a uk resident.I want to buy a 3 month interail pass.My first Journey is going to be from london to Germany between 1st June to 5th June. Then I want to travel again from london to Amsterdam from 15th June to 18th June And then in august from london to Paris.Am I allowed to take multiple journey in an out of my residence country for different trips in a different point in time ?
Hi, in June I'm supposed to do Budapest-Zagreb and then Zagreb - Ljubljana but I cannot find any trains at the Zagreb train station mentioned in the Rail Planner app. Do anyone can tell more about this problem? How can I know if any trains are available and what time are they expected to leave. Thank you very much in advance.
I bought a 7 day travel global pass ( with plus so can cancel) and booked reservations.I now wish to exchange this pass for the promotion ticket: 1 month continuous travel .Will my reservations ( which have my original pass number on them) still be valid if I do this?I'm not sure how my reservations get linked to a new pass.
Unfortunately, the FAQ is not very clear about inbound/outbound journeys.I would like to travel to Sweden from Munich, Germany (which also is my country of residency) and am thinking about using Interrail (global pass). As I understand, the outbound journey should be no problem if I use a day train to Hamburg/Berlin and then a night train to Malmö/Stockholm. However, I cannot take the night train to Hamburg and then a day train towards Copenhagen/Sweden, because the “7pm rule” is no longer a thing? For the inbound journey, I would definitely like to take the night train from Malmö/Stockholm to Hamburg/Berlin and then continue to Munich on a day train, one day after departure of the night train, but the same day as the arrival of the night train. Is this even possible on an interrail pass? Is the inbound travel day the day that the train leaves towards the home country/the last stop before the home country? Or the day that it arrives (at the first station after the border)? Or the day in
Hi! My name is Sedef, and I am from North Macedonia. This summer I want to travel the EU through interrail and have wonderful adventures. I saw that Interrail is doing a 50% off discount for the passes and I wanted to ask if can non-European citizens benefit from the discount. I also checked the Eurail website for the discount but there is nothing stated about it. Can a buy a pass from Interrail’s website as a non-European citizen instead of Eurail’s website? If you can help me I will be so glad!I look forward to hearing from you!
If i buy the three months tickets, do the whole period of the 3 months has to be in the next 11 months or can i start the first month on the 11th month?
Hallo, i have a specific question, for which i couldn't find an answer elsewhere. If i buy the three months tickets with 50% sale, do the whole period of the 3 months has to be in the next 11 months or can i start the first month on the 11th month? Meaning that the second and the third month would be over the given 11 months Thanks!
I want to book a sleeper reservation for Paris-Tolouse on May 28 and potentially back Tolouse-Paris June 7. I don't see reservations open for this train on the interrail reservation service. There's only a suggestion for a bus on the 28th. The option to buy a full price ticket on the official SCNF website doesn't show up as well. Does it mean it's just booked up on these days already?
Question #1 - The Eurail app shows different routes/times than the website where I can book. Specifically I’m trying to get from Salzberg Austria to Prague. App showed a more convenient route, however, website shows inconvenient routes. Travel date would be May 27th. Question #2 - I’m tall and prefer an aisle seat. However, I keep getting assigned a window seat. Can I change my preference or how do I go about getting an aisle seat?
I'm going to Zagreb from Milano tomorrow and now this "Error-message" occurred, when buying the seat reservation for the first part of the trip (Milano to Trieste). It initially said that I don't need a reservation, but I'm not too sure now.Would love your opinions!
