Eng: Good morning interrail community. My group of friends and I will travel with the 7-day pass. Our doubt centers on the last day of travel (the seventh) as we are not aware if there is a route that connects Milan - Bari (and which is covered by interrail). Does anyone know if a train from Milan to Bari is available? And if so, does Interrail cover the trip?Ita: Buongiorno community di interrail. Il nostro dubbio verte sull'ultimo giorno di viaggio (il settimo) in quanto non siamo a conoscenza se vi sia una tratta che collega Milano - Bari (e che sia coperto da interrail).Qualcuno sa se sia disponibile un treno con tratta Milano-Bari? E se si, interrail copre il viaggio? 

We’re a family of four (2 adults, 17yo and 13 yo) who are planning on interrailling in August 24. I want to make our Eurostar seat reservations now so we can get the train we want but I was hoping there maybe a sale on pass prices in March (was hoping for a New Year one….)  and so wanted to delay buying the pass until later in the year. The raileurope website asks for a pass number when I try to book the seat reservations. Any advice?

Bonjour, je prévois de faire un tour d’Europe avec mon ami en 2024 (nous avons 21 ans). Nous avons déjà pris le Pass Global 3 mois (Pass continu) et nous pensons commencer le voyage durant le mois de Février pour le terminer durant le moi de Mai, nous sommes donc plutôt hors-saison en ce qui concerne le tourisme. L’itinéraire que nous comptons suivre ressemble à ça : Besançon - Bilbao - Porto - Lisbonne - Lagos - Séville - Madrid - Valence - Barcelone - Milan - Turin - Venise - Rome - Naples - Bari - Patras - Athènes - Kalambaka - Thesslaonique - Sofia - Bucarest - Budapest - Vienne - Prague - Berlin - Copenhague - Stockholm - Oslo - Trondheim - Bodo. Puis le retour Bodo - Besançon. Ce trajet est prévu sur 80 jours car nous souhaitons nous donner une “marge” de 10 jours (3 mois = environ 90 jours) afin de palier aux éventuels retards, annulation, grève, etc. Je sais que certains de ces trajets ne sont pas possible en train (Bari - Patras en ferry, Lagos - Séville en bus ou encore Sofia

Hello and Thank you all in advance.I have a 1st class, 10 day flex/global pass.Somehow...I ended up with some Business Class seat reservations. I made the reservations within the eurail app (paid extra) hoping to avoid any snafus. The tickets clearly show Business Class Seats and the correct Eurail (1st class) pass #. What should I do? Does the Eurail Pass even have Business Class passes?Thanks again.

I see that the Eurail site allows a couchette on the train from Rome to Siracusa to be booked - but it only offers either a seat or Promiscuo. I would like to get a CC-DONNA place though - why doesn’t the Eurail site offer this?is there any site that does? I tried raileurope.com but couldn’t find any reservation-only price, only for full ticket, even though I entered Interrail pass.(Getting ready for fitst ever interrailing - exciting!) TIA

We have just purchased a global pass and will need to travel from Penzance to London before getting the Eurostar. Will the pass be valid for what may be seen as two journeys within the UK, our country or residence?

Hello,we are a family of 4 traveling to Europe for the first time next week. 2 Adults and a 20 year old and a 11 year old. Our plans are this. 24-26 Frankfurt. 26-27 Munich 27-29 Salzburg 29-1 Bern. 1-2 Frankfurt for the flight home. We also Land at 6AM on the 24th. Trying to understand the rails. We will do some inner city site seeing most days but it looks cheap to pay as you go for those. But trying to figure out if I would need both a EU global pass and a Swiss train pass. While in switzerland we are thinking of the train ride goldenpass express I think its called. And hitting museums. Just not sure if the EU pass and pay for the other stuff in Swiss is better or how this works. Thank you

Hi,We are 6 adults with 4 aged over 60 and 2 aged between 50 and 60 years old.  We would like to buy Eurail global pass.  My questions are:Can one person buy 6 passes or each of 6 needs to buy their own pass individually? Shall each of 6 need to download the Eurail app regardless Is there any advantage/disadvantage buying the passes by one for all 6 or each individual

I'm deciding whether to use an interrail pass or single tickets for 2024. It's a bit tricky as the SNCf dates I'm looking for aren’t published yet (dep 25 May - ret 2nd June). Other than the Eurostar (as those dates are available now) I'm looking at dates in Feb and March to check price via SNCF.Can you recommend if using Interrail pass or single tickets is best for this journey? I used interrail pass last year and find it really easy to use so I'm leaning towards that at the moment:4 people - two teens, two adultsCosts without pass:Stroud to London (7.31am dep) total return price £97.80 with family railcardLondon to Lille Europe (11.04am dep) total return price £592Lille Europe to Marseille (14.03 dep TGV ) price per person  £150pp!!Marseille to La ciotat £9ppTotal is super high due to TGV cost - unless I use ouigo?? I  am planning to buy eurail pass. What is the difference between reserving train with and without eurail pass. Let's say the cost of the ticket is 100€ without pass. If I reserve along with pass, would there be any difference in the total amount I would pay? Like some amount from pass +reservation fee. Or regardless of the  pass I still have to pay 100€. 

Hello,i have a the France Germay Pass and plan to travel on 1st of January from Cologne to Montpellier viaICE: Cologne - Mannheim 11:55 - 13:23TGV: Mannheim - Paris Est 13:42 - 16:52TGV: Paris Gare de Lyon - Montpellier St Roch 17:42 - 21:11 I purchased seat reservations for the 2 TGVs.The transfer time in Mannheim is only 19 minutes. My question is: Do I have the right to take the next TGVs without additional costs if I would miss the TGV in Mannheim? Thanks alot! 

Hi Community, Looking into the EuroRail pass for 7 days, with travel from Paris to London on the Eurostar on the agenda. Is this achievable with this pass? After looking through the forums I’m no closer to understanding if this is achievable?Thanks for your help. 

What is an economical means to cover the following cities during our euro visit and the best route to be followed. we are three adults:- Versailles- Paris- Amsterdam- Rotterdam- Geneva- Zurich- Interlaken- Lucerne Please note we are yet finalising the itinerary, however, these are the major cities / places we wish to cover. And it would be a great help if you could suggest what would be the best economical option (also keeping in mind we don't want to waste too much time in travel) - i.e., whether toA) get a eurail global pass for continuous 15 days?OrB) buy single tickets from Paris (France) to Amsterdam (Netherlands) to zurich (Switzerland) If we go ahead with option B, how do we commute within France, Netherlands and Switzerland considering the budget.We plan around 14-15 days in Europe covering the above three countries in April 2024.All the help would be great

We (6 adults) plan to travel on the train from Chur (Switzerland) to Milan (Italy) via Tirano (Italy) on Monday 26th February 2024. My questions are:Given it is a middle of winter in Europe, does Bernina Express run on this day (Monday, 26 Feb 2024) departing Chur? Can we take normal rail (other than Bernina Express) to travel from Chur to Tirano on the same day? Is there a connected train to travel to Milan from Tirano on that day and how long does it take to arrive in Milan?

Hi I’m a English student planning on travelling for the first time without family before university. I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations of routes to take starting from London, I love bustling cities but also serene mountains and other natural scenes. My big concern is that Europe isn’t exotic or foreign enough so want to find a route which provides that exoticness and cultural shock but am not quite sure where to start. Hello 👋I'm trying to book the Euronight from Malmö C to Berlin for the 9th March (it's a Saturday) but Track Work Planned is noted from that date and on. I checked the planned work schedule and March is not included, so anyone that have experience with SJ can tell me if I have to wait more to book or is better begin to plan an alternative route? I should go to Berlin from Oslo and I know that Snälltåget is not an option during my travel days. Anyway it would be nice to have a plan B in case of cancellation, would it make sense to consider the ferry from Stockholm?  I'm open to any suggestion as long doesn't require more than a travel day and an half.

I am planning a trip of 15 days. I don’t want to travel every day. Is it possible to take an 15 days in a row pass of not?

Hi all,I wondered if someone can shed some light on whether there is a guaranteed Eurail pass seat reservation quota for every Eurostar train, or whether only specific routes at specific times have a pass quota (and can the quota change depending on the demand for direct ticket bookings on eurostar.com)?The reason I ask is that I’m planning to travel with my family by Eurostar from London to Brussels in mid July. When I look at tickets on the Eurostar website for our day of travel there are some trains that are showing as fully sold out (for economy seats). Given the seat reservations for Eurail pass holders open up 6 months in advance, I’m wondering if it might still be possible to reserve a seat with the pass on trains that show as fully sold out? I’m guessing not, but thought I’d ask the experts on here!cheers,Nick
