I have never used the Eurail before.  I already have my reservations for the required trains in advance.  But for normal trains, I’m not sure what train I want in advance, can I just show up at the train terminal and add the train to my pass that morning, or do they get overbooked and I’ll find myself unable to board unless I schedule them days out?  This is regarding non-reservation trains.

Aloha! I have a question about my trip. I am planning to use Eurail for the first time. The plan is to travel from Sofia, Bulgaria to Paris, France for about a week and visit several destinations along the way. Any recommendations for a road I should take? Thank y'all in advance!

I am looking into traveling via train with a large group of Scouts to Switzerland from London. The olympics is not helping matters as I know it is going to be very busy when we are travelling but are there any suggestions on how to get the best deal for a large group?

We like to travel with a 7 days pass between France, Belgium, UK and Germany is the TGV include or a option. The travel use by days or in/out by destination ? Thanks you !

I added journeys to my trip on 19 and 24 January 2024.can I already add the journeys to my pass so that I can see the barcode already?Or how can inshore the barcode by inspection?

Im planning to travel from amsterdam to prague. I want to take first a sleeper train from amsterdam to berlin and then from berlin to prague a normal train. I depart the 6th from amsterdam and arrive the 7th in berlin. My question is does the train from berlin to prague count as another travel day?Thanks.

I booked all our Euro Rail tickets through Euro rail, I got a notification that the one we had booked from Salzburg to Venice has changed, but there is no where on my existing tickets to be able to change it. Do they automatically put you on the next best one? It doesn’t seem that they assigned us to another train or bus. I’ve send some messages and hope to hear back. But if I go out to rebook, it costs me. 

Im looking to make a seat reservation on a sleeper train for me and 6 friends. We all have the global pass. I think that because we are seven people im not able to make the reservation directly from the website. Is there any solution to do this directly from eurail or do i have to go to another website. If so which one? Thanks.

Hello, Why can’t i book a ticket for 1 stop on a night train?Let’s say there is a Budapest-Zurich NightTrain, but i only want to travel from Vienna to Salzburg. Train Schedule says “Enter only, no exiting allowed.” for several stops during the journey. Why is this? And in theory can i use this train if i have a daily ticket (or season ticket) between two destinations? (It’s hard to beleive i physically can not leave a train when it stops).  Also the timetable aren’t showing me this possibility but when i look at live map there are a lot of trains on the go between these stops in the night. It’s only theoritical question so i’m not in need for any ticket like this, just interested.

If I purchase a 4 days of travel global pass and travel from Manchester to London on a Thursday evening and then London to Paris on the Friday morning is that ok or does my trip leaving my country have to all be on the same day? I am trying to arrive in Geneva by mid afternoon on a Friday and so need to take the early morning Eurostar to do this 

We are starting our journey toward home on a night train. The train leaves at 23:45 and arrives at Munchen at 9:22, after which we still need to take 2 trains to get home (munchen-hamburg and hamburg-copenhagen). My question is if due to the first night train arriving just before midnight means that we need to use 2 travel days to reach home. We only have 1 travel day left on the ticket, so help would be appreciated.

Visit Belfast, Blarney, Limerick, and Waterford.'The Belfast reference clearly implies cross-border validity. However, further down it states 'Can I cross the border?​Not with this Pass, as it’s all about exploring one country from top to bottom. Want to cross the border? Go for a Global Pass.'When you click 'Learn More’, it  gives the example: 'The Pass is valid for travel only in Spain and cannot be used to travel from the Netherlands to Spain'. The island of Ireland has two countries in it-the Republic of Ireland and the UK in the form of Northern Ireland. Yet the reference to Belfast above suggests that the pass is valid in both parts of the

Hello everyone, I’m trying to reserve seats for this train EC 145 / EC 145 to Budapest-Keleti but it says Reservation cannot be made, can someone please explain to me, if this means there are not seats left, or only that I cannot make a reservation? Thank you!

Just boarded a train for my first trip from Paris to Lyon. Was advised by the website that I should activate my pass just before boarding my first train. Proceed through the gate to be told it needs to be activated 1 hour beforehand and that I had to pay 50 euros to be able to board the train. The train officer was extremely rude at the time and said I should have read the T&C's...

Was anyone else affected by the curtailed service of the Night Jet sleeper 40490 from Vienna to Amsterdam on the 23rd October 2023 leaving at 20:11pm the train was stopped in Passau by police searching for someone and we were told by the conductor to leave the train at Numermburg as the train would be delayed by at least four hours and we would then miss our onward connection from Amsterdam 

hoi,Voor een reis samen met mijn dochter deze kerst naar het noorden van Zweden zag ik dat we voor de meeste treinen moesten reserveren. Omdat die trips nog niet in de app/dienstregeling beschikbaar waren heb ik alle reserveringen via de Zweedse spoorwegmaatschappij gedaan. Nu wil ik onze reizen in de app gaan zetten maar kan deze niet bevestigen, alleen als ik in de app de reserveringskosten aanklik. Weet iemand hoe ik dat kan oplossen?

Hello,I am trying to reserve seats for my Christmas holiday with my 4-day pass, but I am getting an error message when I go to pay for the seat reservations.My trips are from Copenhagen to Munich on 27 Dec and Munich to Zurich on 30 Dec.I found the trains I would like to take, and I go through the steps to reserve, but at the end, it says I cannot book certain parts of the trip.I don’t understand what I am doing wrong. I don’t think that the trains are full, because I went to the DB website, and it shows that there are seats available.Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I wish to go from Paris to Narbone. When I request train times through this site, is does not show all the trains listed for TGV InOui.  Is the pass not good on all trains between those cities?  Does not show a train leaving at 11:46am arriving at 4:13pm which exists.

She has purchase her pass and save trips as well but I wondered regarding this saved trip of hers as it didn’t have that activation button at all?hence, I was a bit confused. Hi,we purchased a euro pass for 7 people however we are now having issues reserving seats for travel in Dec 23 & Jan 2024.Does anyone know what our options are if we can’t reserve seats? Will more seats become available in November ? any advice is appreciated thanks

Hi there,  Just wondering when does the Eurostar tickets are usually getting opened for reservation?I see that the system only shows me the tickets available till the 9th of Dec. I’m currently planning my trip on the 27th of Dec from London to Paris btw.  Thanks in advance. Cheers 

The reserved ticket to Venice has been canceled due to the weather. I bought it on Eurail's website, so Obb told me to ask here. I'd like to receive compensation for the pass period spent and the amount of canceled tickets.

Bonsoir, Nous rentrons d’Amsterdam ce jeudi en faisant : Amsterdam → Bruxelles Bruxelles → LilleLille → Massy Massy → Nantes Nous avons malheureusement reçu un mail de la SNCF nous disant que notre train Massy Nantes est supprimé à cause de la tempête prévue dans l’Ouest de la France. Nous sommes donc bloqué à Massy sans logement train .. Pour le logement la SNCF rembourse l’hôtel et repas. Concernant le train, comment faire ? Nous avons déjà payé les réservations. Devons nous remplacer pour le lendemain et payer ? Comment faire pour se faire rembourser ?  Merci à vous pour votre aide.
