I am Jyoti, I was using my Eurail pass (one day) to travel to Amsterdam from Berlin. It's a monthly pass with 4 days travel with EU. You can activate the day you want to travel within the pass, the day you want to travel. I added my journey yesterday from Berlin to Amsterdam via train ICE 140 i.e on 7th May 2023, departing at 16:05 from Berlin HBF. The train was cancelled on reaching Hannover HBF. Since, it was already very late i.e. around 21:00 once the train cancellation was informed and officially train was closed- I decided to return back to Berlin. I couldn't contact the customer service in Hannover since already around 100+ people were standing in line to collect a refund or stay in Hannover. The reason I am am reaching out here is that in my Eurail Pass - there is only 1 inbound and outbound journey for my home country. Since I used it yesterday on this train, I cannot use it anymore. So, I request to please let me know how to proceed in this manner?
Is there any way around the schengen visa requirement of reserving a hotel iternary. I wanted to use a eurail as the focus and deciding where to put your head on a whim. Eurail trains do offer sleepovers. One can find short term accommodation with ease. If there no way around this. Will I have to come up with a 30 nightime hostel/hotel revesations?
Hello,I just booked a Paper Ticket (I need the ticket for a trip which will start at 1 April 2023). During the Payment Process the estimated delivery dated showed “28 March 2023” which would have been close, but probably fine. However, at checkout the estimated date of delivery had postponed to 7 April 2023 (which would render the ticket useless for me). Of course, at checkout it is too late to change anything.Most important Question: How can I proceed from here? In order to use the mobile pass I would have to buy a new Smartphone (mine doesn’t support iOS 13). The Paper Ticket will probably be late. Moreover, I probably cannot return the Paper Ticket in Time, because I will not be at home then. Is there any other way to obtain and use a ticket in time for the journey? Is it still possible to get a full 100% refund for the ticket (for the different estimated of delivery are quite deceptive), not the usual 85% refund?Any help would be highly appreciated!All the best, thomas
I have 2 questions about the app, I searched but couldn't find an answer.Why isn't there a normal calendar when searching for a train? I'm planning a trip more than 2 months from now, and my finger is getting very tired of clicking over 60 times the right arrow to go to the next date. And if there is a real clickable calendar, can you please tell me where to find it?Is there a bug in the app? After I added a train to my itinerary I can't open it, the little downward arrow is dead, meaning I can't see all the stations where a train stops, I can't see the facilities on a train, and most important: I don't see the link to reservation options. I don't want to delete the app and install it again, as I'm afraid I'll lose all trains I already added to my itinerary. Please tell me what to do to repair this.
Hi I got to know how regional trains save our money . Do we have such options to book from Milano to Venice( reservation free ) and other places ? it showed me 15Euros to book seats . If seat reservation mandatory I need to book on oebb.com to avoid booking fees or any other websites ?
Dear, my eurail mobile pass is not working, moreover since April 23 I have sent emails to App support and have not had a response. I can’t activate a Day trip, so i cant have a ticket. Therefore, today, April 26, I had to buy a train ticket from Vienna to Prague, document is attached. At the OBB office they told me that this ticket will be reimbursed by them. Ihope to have an answer soon and have the necessary support to solve the problem of my pass.
Hey guys !I have another question regarding the documentation.Let's say, I want to travel from city A to city C, but have to stop and change in city B.Do I now have to fill in: from A to C OR do I have to fill in: from A to B AND from B to C ?Thanks in advance for your answers :)
With the latest update to v20, the app no longer shows the final destination of the train, only where I’m stopping. The final destination was nice because that’s what is listed on the departure boards in the train stations, and sometimes the train numbers aren’t always consistent with what’s in the app. Am I missing something on this new version, and can we get the final destination back? Thanks!
Dear EurailI have purchased a Eurail pass with Plus 20-Dec-2020 and the order confirmation clearly states "The pass is fully refundable without a fee, however the fee for Plus is non-refundable" (IN30227660).06-May-2021 I received a mail that the activation period was extended until 31 august 2022. Unfortunately, summer plans are so that the travel can't be made this summer and a refund is there necessary.However, when I login to my account - the ability to apply for refund is not available where it should be as per your help information.I have contacted your service department 04-Jun-2022 using your facebook support option to get this error fixed or a refund done - and received confirmation e-mail confirming receipt of the request. I have not heard anything back yet.I don't think > 2 weeks response time for a simple support request like this is reasonable - and the money is needed to pay for the alternative summer vacation!Can you please prioritize getting this service request mana
Hi, Yesterday I encountered an error with activating travel days, which resulted in me having to reinstall the rail planner app.Now I find myself in a situation where I require help reactivating my pass, as I need to go home (to Denmark from the Netherlands) in a few days.I have already contacted support but fear that my pass won't be reactivated in time resulting in me being stuck here..
Hi everyone, first of all sorry for my bad english. I am traveling to Europe in August, and I want to go to different countries (England, Scotland, Ireland, France, Italy, Belgium, Germany, and others). In that matter, I want to know if it’s better to purchase an eurail pass, or if it’s more suitable to buy individual tickets each time. I want to visit a lot of cities in each country, and also do long travels (like from England to Scotland). We are 3 adults, one of them with intelectual dissabilities. Hi everyone,I bought a two month global pass to use this summer. I started adding some journeys to the trip connected to my pass. In addition, I already made some seat reservations for some of these trains via bahn.de.I was thinking to activate my pass on the day I would take my first train this summer, as I am not 100% sure which day this will be. But now I am in doubt that this would be too late: Is it possible that when you don’t activate your pass well in advance, it may be too late to actually get on board as all interrailer spots are already “taken” for that train? If so, then I’d like to activate the pass now and choose a start date somewhere in July. Just in case it would be necessary: is it later also possible to advance the start date chosen upon activation?Thank you!
