Hello, I booked a 7-day pass with my friends. There are three trips between Germany, Austria, and the Czech Republic for which I have my tickets shown in yellow on the app.For the trips in France, where a reservation is mandatory, I bought tickets and received them by email. However, in the app it asks me to check the outbound and return boxes for three journeys where I already purchased the mandatory seat reservation. What should I do? If I get checked by a ticket inspector, will it be a problem if those boxes are not checked? Thanks
Hi everyone !I am a french middle-school teacher. My coworker and I are trying to plan a ten-days-long scholar trip in partnership with ERASMUS. We will have about 27 students with us and they are 13 or 14 years old. We are thinking of Italy but not sure yet. Has anyone ever done that ? Are there any tools or advices you could share ? Do you know if a program exists for this ? Thank you for your help !!
I’m planning a trip from my homecountry Germany to Norway. I plan to travel by train to Kiel and then take the ferry to Oslo. So I won’t be leaving my country by train. Does that count as an outbound journey? If it does, what ís an outbound journey exactly?
I recently received an email from Eurail about a “security incident involving personal data,” and I wanted to check if others got the same message and whether it’s actually legitimate. The email looks quite official (correct branding and sender address), but it starts with a generic “Dear Customer” and mentions a security issue without many details, which made me a bit suspicious.

Hi, I planned to travel from Venice (S. Lucia) to Florence on April 11th, 2026. I bought the Eurail Global Pass, but was unable to select seats for the high speed direct train: I did some research, and apparently there is rail maintenance on 4/11:https://www.reddit.com/r/ItalyTravel/comments/1qdtlff/possible_train_strike_in_april/https://www.reddit.com/r/ItalyTravel/comments/1q8ja7c/is_there_anything_happening_on_11th_april/ If my travel date is already set in stone (booked tickets, hotels, etc...), is my only option to book the slower train where I have to do 2 transfers? At least it’s still covered under the Eurail Global Pass. There’s no way this maintenance date will change, right? Thanks!
I want to travel from Bari to Igoumenitsa by Superfast Ferries then on to Corfu. I understand that First Class Global pass holders are entitled to travel in aircraft type seats and don't have to pay the passenger fare, but you need to add a travel day. (I understand that various surcharges and taxes still apply). If I want to book a cabin for two people, do I gain any benefit from using my Global Pass (bearing in mind I would have to lose a travel day)?
We’re planning a trip from UK by interrail thru Amsterdam - Copenhagen - Stockholm - Narvik - Oslo - Bruges then home. Trying to use the planner and it comes unstuck with the Norway section. The Night train from Stockholm to Narvik, the planner insists that it will take 42 hrs via Boden. It won’t. There’s a direct night train for around 20hrs. How can I bypass this in the planner? Also there’s no direct train between Narvik and Oslo, so we were thinking of flying to Trondheim then train to Oslo. How can I include a gap like this in the planner? Is it possible to plan more than one trip in the planner at the same time without finalising either?
Does having a Eurail Pass mean I don't need to book tickets on the Avanti West Coast website? Can I just go to the station to reserve a seat and then take the train to my destination? The Eurail website is confusing me; I can't book seats on the Avanti West Coast. But if I buy tickets on the Avanti West Coast website, what's the point of having a Eurail Pass?My plan is to travel from London Euston to Glasgow Central in the morning, and then take the Sleeper train back to London from there.Does anyone teaching me how the process? thank you in advance.
Hi all,This summer, my girlfriend and I are planning an Interrail trip through Scandinavia. We would like to travel from Oslo to Jotunheimen National Park, where we’re planning to spend five days hiking. We’re hoping to either camp or stay in DNT cabins each night.I’m currently trying to figure out the best way to get there. Ideally, we would start our hike somewhere within the park, such as Leirvassbu or Fondsbu. Our plan is to finish the multi-day hike at Gjendesheim, and then get the bus from there to Kvam or Otta. We would stay the night in Kvam/Otta and then take the train to Copenhagen.I know there are several buses that run from Oslo to Jotunheimen, and I’ve also read that there are local buses within the park that connect different locations. I’ve looked at the Valdresekspressen website, but I’m struggling to find or book any scheduled buses.I understand that bookings in Norway may only be released around 90 days in advance, so that might be the issue.Any help would be much app
Hello, we have two girls, age 4 and 6 and we are planning a round trip to Berlin in the summer, over two weeks. We would like to stop at a couple of places on the way there, and on the way back. Coming from the UK. Any recommendations of a good route? Preferably without very long travel times!

Hola! En julio me voy a Grecia, he comprado el Pase pero no lo he activado aún dado que queda bastantes meses. He intentado reservar los asientos del ferry, pero no me deja. ¿Puede ser que sea porque es muy pronto?
I have taken photos of my ID and they say they are not valid. It says that I have 2 tries and I have used both of them. What should I do?
How do we book these passes and then out two plus weeks trip from uk to Italy and back. The disability pass or companion pass options do not show up. Any pointers to get started much appreciated. Thank you.
I tried to plan my trip on the trip planner and got suggested that I should buy the 7 day within 1 month pass. When I count the travel days I get to 8, the website gets to only 6. The itinerary would be Stuttgart - Salzburg, Salzburg - Ljubljana, Ljubljana-Venice, Venice-Pisa, Pisa-Genoa, Genoa-Lyon, Lyon-Paris, Paris-Stuttgart in case that matters. Am I wrong or is the website wrong? Second part of my question would be about the own country days. This is what I found on the website: ‘’Outbound and inbound journeys are not extra travel days.’’. Does that mean I will have 7 days + the travel out and to my country of residence? In that case it would make sense since I am German. However I am also travelling with two of my friends who aren’t German.
I sent a request to Customer Service to deactivate my pass on my old phone which I no longer had as it is completely broken. I got a reply which said told me to deactivate the pass on my old phone which I no longer have.I replied to the email explaining why I couldn’t do this. Will customer service respond to this email, or should I create a new request?
Good afternoon, I am a 1st time interrailer and i am starting to think the I have made a mistake.I have purchased myself and my daughter a 4 day global pass and have used it so far to book eurostar from UK to Paris. My plan was to travel up to Zurich and go on the Benina express and then backdown via Milan before coming home again via Paris.I cannot get TGV out of Paris to anywhere, even trying to go indirectly. I have tried to go straight to Zurich, or via Strasborg or Basel, all of them on are showing as sold out on the TGV reservations.Even using regional trains is showing I need to do a little bit of the journey on a TGV- I think around Basel.Any ideas …. or any suggestions on a different itinerary to try?Much appreciated.
Is there still a free bus?Is it from Kemi to LuleaWhere can I find details?
Hola, voy a visitar Lucerna, el Eurailpass tiene convenio para tomar el Ferry que recorre el Lago?
Hi all. We have bought our Eurail passes. I have followed the instructions to book on the obb.at site, but it still says that it will cost EUR 469 to book sleeper berths on the train. Is this correct? I thought the booking fee was only about 40 EUR? Can someone please clarify? Thank you.
Trying something different this year and doing a trip via rail.Just over two weeks and going to quite a few places and hoping for some advice.About half the journeys we have booked reservations. What happens if we miss the train due to one of the “non” reserved journeys being delayed? On the trip on the app should we add the journeys that have reservations?Any other good advice?
