Hello everyoneMy husband celebrates his 70th birthday next year and I’d like to organise a trip through various European destinations by train and at least one sleeper train. As we haven’t been to Eastern Europe, I’m thinking of flying to Bulgaria or Poland and kicking off from there and working our way back to Brussels for a Eurostar back to London. I’d like a stopover in each location of say, 2 days but with trains between destinations having a proper dining car with a lovely culinary experience (1st class, I’m assuming) on each leg. I don’t know whether it’s better to book individual journeys and accommodation at each stopover or whether to buy a Eurail pass. I’m roughly thinking that the whole trip will be about 10-14 days. Any advice on routing and/or ticketing most welcome from you seasoned travellers to help me make a truly memorable trip. Looking forward to you sharing your wisdom. Many thanks.

Hi, Rich here from UK, first time interrailer and I have 6x four-day global passes all loaded into the app and I will do all tickets from my phone (2x adults and 4x children). I’ve made our four-day ‘trip’ and reserved seats where required, so all trains are known and loaded into the trip. I have also duplicated and connected the master trip 6 times so each traveller has the same trip.Everyone’s pass is activated and we have pass references and validity dates (first train 26th May), but this is where I’m getting a little confused…In ‘My Pass’ it says no journey planned yet and the DAY1, DAY2 etc slots are all free/available...and the yellow button says “add a journey”.Should I A) now stop doing anything until the morning we get our first train, and then when I hit “add a journey” I can toggle the one(s) loaded into the ‘trip’ and create a ticket...then do this 6 times?...or should I B) do it now and not worry about the ‘when’ as long as the ‘journeys’ from the ‘trips’ all correspond to
Are there London UK perks or reduced cost tours for Eurrail pass holders? eg. Shows: Stratford or elsewhere, tours
Hello,I assume many other here, like myself, had their data leaked recently. I myself had to replace my passport and a bunch of other boring legwork, with attendant fees, and it honestly feels quite bad. I really cant afford it myself. I am upset that this happened, especially since all kinds of malicious scamming seems to be increasing. Has anyone else had other issues since then? I dont feel that any of my data is secure, and im worried for phishing scams or something else,
Hi there. I am new here and I would like to know if there is somekind of night trains in any itinerary. How can I get such kind information?
Hello there!I understand that many Eurail trains have it, but from my past experience with other trips I know you can't trust it 100%. I'm worried that at the worst moment it might drop out or be very very slow. So I'm thinking of getting an eSIM as a backup.I've been looking at TooSIM for Europe. They advertise an automatic network switching feature at the border. From what I've read, it works good across Europe and costs less than other eSIMs like Airalo right now. I need 10GB and TooSIM costs $17 while Airalo is $31 for the same data plan.I'll be crossing borders 2-3 times a day on the train. Will eSIM keep working while the train is moving or is the train Wi-Fi better for that? Has anyone tested this? Is a backup eSIM even necessary or has onboard Wi-Fi become better lately?
Heyy, I’m Sophia, 20, from Austria I’ve always loved travelling, and one of my biggest life goals is to see as many countries as possible. Yesterday, during my trip to England, I heard about Interrail for the first time while chatting with a girl who’s planning to do a tour this summer. We talked for almost an hour, and ever since then I’ve been really excited about the idea myself.I’m thinking about doing an Interrail trip in September. At first I imagined travelling alone, since I’m already used to solo trips. But honestly, I think it could be even more special to share the experience with someone who enjoys discovering new places, cultures, and adventures just as much as I do.I’m completely new to this, but maybe I’ll find a lovely travel buddy here(I did not plan anything yet)
Hi everyone,This is our first time interrailing as a family. And sometimes when we have gone on the website we can see a map with the route and other times we can’t - am I doing something wrong, or is the website too busy?
Hi! Me and my boys are on a trip right now. We have the Global Pass 1st Class and we are going from Vienna Hbf to Trieste Centrale on 13/05/26.When I put the exact train into my rail planner it says that we need a supplement on this route (to pass the boarder I think)Is this required for pass holders and does 1st class have anything to say in this case? Thank you.
I have mislaid my seat reservation details.Where can I find them online?
Hi I have just recently purchased a ticket (11-May-26) for a trip that we are starting in The pass is not yet activated and is valid until 11 April 2027. I have just tried to book the seats in the train that require reservations. I can book some of the trips but I have just tried to book section of it and it reads “Your Pass isn't valid on this date” 1st train I had to book was from Bruges to Paris on 20th August 2026. I could reserve seats2nd train was from Paris to La Rochelle on 25th August 2026. I could reserve seats3rd train was from La Rochelle to Biarritz on 27th August 2026. I could reserve seats4th train was from Biarritz to Castelnaudary on 6th September 2026. I could not reserve seats and said that my pass was not valid on this date? I tried the 3rd September and this was possible to book, but from the 4th September onwards I can’t book? Seeing that its a 2 month pass with 10 days on travel, I can’t understand why I can’t book a seat. Am I missing something? Any help greatl
Hey there, Im Pelin. This will be my first time interrailing and using an international train. I have a question about the train systems. So, I bought a pass for 5 days per month. When I was checking the timetable of some trains, I realized that some trains (from Prag to Vienna for example) say that there is a train change. Does that mean I have to get off the train and get on to another one? And if so, Is there a passport control on the train changes? And do they include the estimated time for everyone to get a passport check? As I mentioned before, This will be my very first time to travel with train, and as far as I experienced by traveling with plane, it takes quite a while to passport check. Do the mid-trip train change stations (or whatever they’re called) check for your passport everytime you get on and off a train? My other question related to this matter is the time of these trains. So I reserve a seat for a train ride, right. But what if my planned train takes off around 10pm
J’ai pris un pass global 4 jours pour aller en Pologne cet été, mais il est impossible de faire le trajet en utilisant un seul voyage du pass. Est-il possible de le changer pour un 5 jours ?
I’m trying to reserve a sleeping compartment on IC 50417 night train from Krakow to Prague. I’ve tried on the cd.cz website but do not see where to add the Eurail global pass. Please help

I have activated my partners pass on my phone and duplicated my trip. How do I connect the duplicated trip to his pass?
I purchased a pass a while back - whenever I go to book travel, I am stopped from selecting open seats. There is no option to do so? How on earth do I reserve seats in advance? This is absolutely maddening
